He is not strong like the other guild leaders but they respect him and they call him the Strategist. He may weak but he's the reason why they're the strongest guild.
"We will now proceed to our Elimination Round. The participants right now are 19,286 in total. The first 256 people to complete the elimination round will have the chance to compete on the tournament." Wow, that's a lot of people! That's an insane elimination phase. All those participants are all level 200+ so this will be a tough one.
"The challenge is called "We want a Yeti's Tooth!"! That's right, you heard it right! A participant needs to get a tooth from a Yeti and because you only need one, defeating a Yeti is good enough for a group Going alone is an option for your group but that also means that you don't have allies to protect you. Just be careful though, a Yeti is one of the strongest normal discovered monsters. If you get killed, you are out of the competition. You have to go from here to the icy mountains to get one. I'm pretty sure the fastest group would be here before the sun goes down. Get ready." The guild leader explained.
Wow, that's a simple way to eliminate participants. With the range of the Yeti's location, going there would take around ten to twelve hours by foot. With mounts, it might be around four to five hours. Well too bad for us we don't have any mounts.
"The Elimination Round will start at exactly ten am. Participants are not allowed to leave the city, if caught you will be disqualified. Please strictly follow the rules."
It seems that we still have time to prepare. The Elimination round will start after thirty minutes.
"So what's the plan Scy? Unlike the other players, we don't have any mounts to use. That would be a huge disadvantage to us." Akko's pretty worried. With the number of participants, there's a high chance that we might not make it in time.
"Yeah, we used all our gold coins buying equipment and we forgot to save for the carriage we ordered here in the stables of Order of Light city." Elou also worriedly said.
"Jeez, you guys really get worried so easily. There's no impossible for us, ok? If we have what it takes, we can always make it. Anyways, how about you guys just relax at the entrance and I will do something about it?" I have a plan but I hope it will work somehow.
"Ok ok, if you fail it's on you this time," Not cool Elou...

"TOT TOTOTOT!" Ugh... It's the signal to go to West gate of the Order of Light City. West gate is the nearest way to the Icy Mountains to gather the requirement.
"Ready, set, GO!" And just like that, the Elimination Round started.
Players with mounts are the ones who are in front of the competition. Most of them are all well funded by their own guild. You can see that most of them are from different guilds. A lot of players already stopped from running because they had lost hope. Seeing the players with good mounts already killed their morals.
One of the Guilds named Dragoons that uses their mounts to outrun other participants are already using their "Cavalry Stance" where they are using their long spears and other long weapons to stop others from moving forward or from overtaking them. They are already ahead of others.
"What is happening? The infamous Scythus' group is just sitting beside the East Gate and they also don't have mounts to use. What are they planning?!" Aika noticed us just relaxing. And why on earth are you just looking at us?! We're not the only participants here, you know.
"Maybe they already have given up. It's impossible to catch up without any mounts." The Order of Light Leader is one of the commentators.
"Yeah Scy, what is your plan?" Akko asked.
"I guess it's time to show it to you guys." I stood up.
"BAAAAAAAAAM!" A massive explosion was created below my feet making me fly. It was my overused fire boosters. My mana regenerates faster now so whenever I used my fire boosters, I just regenerate my consumed mana. I can use it forever as long as I don't use any other of my spells.
"BAAAAAAAAM!" Every explosion I made, I flew at the speed that surpasses even the speed of sound.
"Holy crap! Did you see that fellow person of New Life Online? He flew in a blink of an eye!" Aika was surprised like the others.
In just a short amount of time, I already overtook most of the players who are still on the elimination round. I can already see the group that what they called the "Fastest Riders" from the Dragoon's Guild.
"Sir, someone's already approaching us. He is really fast and using a spell or something to fly." One of the Dragoon's officers reported.
"You must be joking. No one can outrun us. We are the fastest gui..." The guild leader stopped talking as soon as he saw me just overtook all of them.
*SWOOOOOOOSH!* The only sound hey heard from me.
I kept using my Fire Boosters and did my best to maintain my speed. My health also decreases a bit because of the burden it causes to my body. It is the friction of the wind that passes through my body. But I think I can manage to endure it till the end of the elimination round.
It seems that flying instead of riding on land is also safer because unlike on land, flying monsters are not that much aggressive unless they think of you as their prey. I can almost see the thick forest. This place would be really hard to pass through for the people who travel on land because the thick and many trees would slow them down.
While I was happily traveling in the sky...
*SWOOOOOOSH SWOOOOSH!* What the heck?! I sensed two projectiles coming from behind and I successfully evaded them.
I checked who was it and I saw a girl with black wings!
"Not bad, you are good but too bad... I would love to see you fall from the sky..." Jeez, another pain in the butt.
