"Come and try it out." Warden provocatively said. He seems to be prepared and calm at the same time. Vortz is really faster than him by a lot and that's a huge disadvantage on Warden's part.
*BZZZZZZT BZZZZZT BZZZZZZT!* Vortz moves like a lightning man! His fast movements created a sound of static electricity! It's like a fire booster but a lightning version. Why didn't he use that when we raced from the elimination round?
"STORM WAVE!" He attacked at last! He used a wave of electric attack that has a wide area of effect. Good for a group of enemies but this time Vortz is trying to check if Warden has a weak point.
*BAAAAAAAM!* Warden is still protected by his magic barrier! He got some good defense to defend from the attack. Is he going to just defend within the whole fight?
"It's my turn I guess. WARRIOR'S STANCE!" He changed from a defensive stance to an attacking stance. His magic barrier is still in effect. A magic barrier is ineffective when being attack physically so it was like a counterpart of Shade's passive but they both have the same weakness. Using them requires continuous mana consumption so it's really not good for long fights.
"You want to fight me in melee, huh. I will show you my melee combat skills!" He doesn't use any weapon but he uses a sword made of electricity. It looks cool if you ask me.
*BZZZZZZZT!* So fast!
"STORM BLADE!" He uses that lightning booster again to attack Warden with a speed burst. He slashed Warden with his electric blade but before the blade hits his body it disappeared and canceled by Warden's magic barrier! A really good defender's skill!
"What the heck?!" Vortz was surprised! It feels like all of his attacks are ineffective. His natural enemy is in front of him. How can he defeat someone who specializes on countering a spell caster just like him?
"AGGRAVATING STRIKE!" Warden countered with a fast but powerful strike after Vortz lost his focus. Even with his fast lightning speed, he still got hit by his attack! How is that possible?
"Ugh! Damn you!" Vortz is already pissed. Warden's damage is still good against someone who uses cloth armor.
"You never thought that I could really land a hit right? It's because Aggravating strike only works when I got hit by an attack from a foe and if he is in my range, I will never miss." It seems Warden really has some skills under his sleeve.
"I will end this now! STORM CALLER'S WRATH!" His clothes didn't change but instead, he released a strong electric current that we can even feel the shock in the whole stadium, even the supports already cast their Unity Barrier to protect us.
Storm Caller is a magician type Rare Boss monster that uses a certain spell that can call storms which devastate and provide an annoyance to other monsters and players. He is a tricky monster because, after that attack, he disappears using its fast movements so hunting it would be a terrible choice. Though for some reason they hunted it down.
"Now you will taste the strongest lightning! STORM CALLER'S ELECTRIFY!" Vortz prepared to charge a large amount of power! I'm pretty sure even with Warden's magic barrier it will still deal a lot of damage to him!
"STORM CALLER'S LIGHTNING ZAP DISCHARGE!" A strong lighting came from above and ready to kill Warden! This power is outrageous! Vortz is really aiming for a one hit kill! How is Warden going to stop an attack like that?!
"You are making it easier for me to finish you off! PROTECTOR OF THE GOD'S TEMPLE'S WRATH!" What the? Did they defeat a guardian from a God's Temple? It's considered as a Rare Boss because they are so powerful, it's the tank version of Lili's Aegis Angel! His armor changed into a cool looking armor with divine protection! You can feel the God's protection from his armor!
"PROTECTOR'S MAGIC REFLECTION!" He created a massive Shield that not only absorbed the power of the attack but also redirects the same amount of power to the attacker! It reflected back the same attack to Vortz! This spell doesn't protect the caster from the attack and fully absorb it too but because Warden is really tanky and tough, he survived the attack and also...
*BOOOOOOOM!* A powerful explosion happened to Vortz's location! He lost consciousness after getting hit by his own attack! Warden is still standing! What a tough fellow!
"What happened?! Did you guys see that?! He used a move that reflected the same attack on Vortz! We can see now how great a tank is! He defeated one of the Gods using his own attack! The winner is Warden!" Jeez, another tough opponent later. I can't believe he hides his power all this time. It looks like the Gods are being picked out one by one.
"Not bad Warden. Your training was really worth it." Sieg escorted him back to their seats. Can I really defend from my own attack if he uses that skill to counter my attack too? But how the hell did they defeat one of the Protectors of the God's Temple? They usually defend the temple in groups. Well, I tried to hunt a group once but they are so tough that I didn't bother to stay long, though if they went there with their best guild members, they might have a chance.
"The last match is between Celeste, Order of Light's best Earth Magic User and Bludgeon, the Hearth Fire's Guild leader!" This will be going to be a good fight. Both have good damage and defense so it will be hard to guess who will win.
"Who will win, the one who has the power to crush anything or the one who controls the earth's strongest beings?!" Aika excitedly asked. This is going to be fun though. Both of them loves to crush their opponents and both of them are slow. Anyway, I will watch the whole fight.
They both entered the arena, Celeste with her basic equipment and Bludgeon with his good armor and a giant hammer.
"Ready, Fight!" Aika signaled the start of the fight.
"You know that you are well known around our city because of your famous Earth Magic but I'm getting excited because I really love to smash things down! I'll finish this quick because a real man never hurts a girl!" Real man? Really? That's really old-fashioned.
