"Yesterday's sad story that a local cafe had been vandalized has taken a bright turn. Following the incident, the community came together to help this little cafe.

"They banded together to clean up the store front before comforting one of the cafe's owners who was particularly distraught due to the incident…"

In a high-class town house, two men were watching the news. The older man had dazzling silver hair, and the younger man's was platinum blond.

"Dad, should we—"

"Let's go, son. She was kind enough to give you a job, and I can't have you working in some rundown store."

"Alright!"

After the shortest moment of hesitation, Silver Fox and Patrick grabbed their coats and ran out of their home.

When Mrs Silver Fox entered the living room, she was surprised to find it empty, but the TV was still on.

A man in a gray chauffeur uniform was watching the segment as well. When he heard his employer descending the stairs, he quickly switched it off.

However, when Liam entered the room, he immediately noticed Parker's strange behavior.

"What were you watching?"

"Nothing, sir, just the news."

Liam stared Parker dead in the eye, and a bead of cold sweat rolled down Parker's back.

"What were they talking about today?"

"Um… er… the weather?"

"The weather?"

"The weather."

A smirk appeared on Liam's face, but Parker felt that only added to the pressure on him.

"Parker, I'm going to ask you once more, and don't lie to me, what was on TV just now and why are you hiding it?"

"Sir… I… um…"

"Parker!"

"It was Night Cafe, sir. You see…"

After hearing the summary from Parker, Liam quickly understood what had happened.

"It seems that trash didn't heed your advice. Let's go. I'll have a secretary at the office reschedule my appointments. I want to meet this sh*t myself."

"Oh, Bernie, I'm so touched by everyone's thoughtfulness!"

In the cafe, those who had helped clean the mess from the morning had all sat down and were enjoying coffee and a sandwich on the house. It was busier than the busiest of rushes, but Jade did not mind as she just wanted to thank all of those wonderful people.

Besides, since the news had aired, even more people had stopped by the cafe to offer their support. Some even brought cupcakes and other treats to cheer up Jade. Naturally, she shared all of such treats out, so Bernie and Jade did not actually have to make many sandwiches.

"Yes, they've all been generous," replied Bernie. "However, I think we have one problem that kindness and thoughtfulness cannot solve."

As he said that, he turned to look at the front of the cafe.

To stop the wind from flooding the cafe with cold air, they had used the cardboard from delivery boxes to patch up the front temporarily, but the cafe could not go on like that.

"I know… but where will we get the money?"

Ting ding!

As she said that, the door to the shop opened. Since the brick had only been thrown through the main window, the door, which had a brick frame, was still working, as was the cafe's bell.

"About the window issue, I think I might be able to help."
