Prince Alex was dumbfounded when he heard what Logan had just told him. He could also sense that Logan was in a bad mood from the tone of his voice and action. He was about to refute but was unable too for Logan had already turned off the viewing camera. Prince Alex has no choice but to go back to his vehicle and try and contacting Alexa once more before heading back home.
*Bzzz, bzzz, bzzz* Alexa's phone kept on buzzing inside her clutch bag. Unfortunately, the clutch bag at left unattended at the floor of the vehicle. She was in deep thought and had closed her eyes as they travel to an unknown destination.
Daniel saw how worn out Alexa from everyone ogling her at the dinner party. He decided to take his baby sister to a night out where no one knows them. Ria has no Idea that Daniel was planning on doing just that. Therefore, she was not able to inform Logan of their new destination. It's making Logan much more irritated for not receiving any message from Ria all night long.
Alexa shifted her feet and felt her phone buzzing. She bent over and picked up her clutch bag and checked who's been calling her. Alexa was still half-sleepy when she looked and saw that it was Prince Alex. She hesitated whether she should answer or not, while secretly glancing at Daniel who's already saw the number and have a grin on his face.
Daniel teased Alexa at first before coaxing her to answer the call. "Better answer it your friend may come hunting you at home in the middle of the night. Hahaha!" He banters to Alexa who's now showing a scarlet red face from embarrassment.
Alexa swipes her finger unto the screen of the cellphone then turned on the speaker for her brother to hear the whole conversation. Since it seems that Daniel approves of Prince Alex, she now would let him know their status, which is more than a friend, but not quite a lover yet.
"Hello!" Alexa answered with her sweet melancholy voice and still out of sort.
"Thank God! You finally answer! Where are you? Aren't you supposed to be home by now? It has been more than thirty minutes since you and Daniel had left the Palace, and I'm here at your home wanting to visit you." Prince Alex ranted and blubbered a whole bunch of questions without letting Alexa response not even one.
"Huh? Has it been that long? I don't know where we at right now, and we are on the way home I assume?" Alexa looked at her older brother with a question in her eyes?
"I don't think you are on your way home, for if you are… - You should have arrived a long time ago. Is Daniel with you? May I speak to him, please?!" Prince Alex anxiously asked.
Alexa covered the phone with her hand and looked at Daniel to asks if he's willing to speak to Prince Alex? Daniel stretches his hand to accept the telephone from Alexa with a tense muscle.
"Yes! Prince Alex, what can I do for you?" Daniel asked and answered the phone with clench jaw. He was doing it on purpose to annoy the other person on the other side of the call. He knows how much Prince Alex likes Alexa and he's doing his best to make it hard for him to court her.
Prince Alex didn't bother with the formality, and he went straight to the point. "Would you mind telling me where are you heading right now? I would appreciate it, I want to have a word with Alexa, and I was not able to do that at the dinner party." The way he was speaking, it sounded like he's really frustrated and almost in tears.
Alexa felt a twinge of pain in her heart when she heard Prince Alex, who's a Royalty and very respected person in his Kingdom, was now begging her older brother to let him see her. Alexa was holding her breath and waiting for Daniel's response.
*Thud, thud, thud,* Her heart was beating so fast while anticipating what's Daniel's answer might be? While waiting, suddenly, it dawned to Alexa that lately, she had been missing him when he doesn't come around to bother her on Campus. And while in the class, there were times that Ria would nudge her for she's daydreaming of the kiss they shared. 'Is this what they call love?' She was thinking to herself not hearing a word Daniel was saying to Prince Alex.
Never once in Alexa's young life had she felt anything for the opposite sex, that's why she couldn't understand what she's feeling now. However, there's one thing she knows for sure. She's anticipating for Prince Alex to come wherever it is they are going — making her anxious as to what Daniel would say at the moment.
Alexa's heart runs a lot faster after hearing Daniel say. "We are on the way downtown to have a night out. Why don't you come and meet us there, and by the way if you're still at my house right now… I have a favor to ask of you. Do you mind asking a certain person to come with you?" Daniel made it sound like an order, instead of asking a favor.
Prince Alex, on the other hand, would bring even the grim reaper as long as he could be with Alexa. Therefore, he happily replied while grinning from ear to ear. "Shoot! Tell me who it is, and I'll go bother your rude secret service right now." He jokingly told Daniel, not knowing Alexa was listening through the whole conversation.
Daniel informed Prince Alex who he wanted for him to bring, and he is not to come unless that person is with him…
" Who do you take me for? I will surely bring that person, or I will die trying." He mumbles as he once again pushed the intercom to speak with Logan...
