They just took off from Alaska International Airport less than an hour ago. Alexa Grant was just about to take a nap and was getting ready to lay down when she heard the announcement. She's on the last leg of her flight from the Philippines to America where she would be meeting her long lost Father.
She was thrilled that she was able to find three seaters at the back of the cabin with no one seating. Just as she was about to lay her head and stretches her long legs, she hears the announcement.
*Ding!* A sound came then a bright red light came flashing — a warning sign to put the seatbelt on. Then the stewardess announced on the P.A. system for all the passenger to hear.
"The fasten your seatbelt light is currently on and blinking. We are about to enter an area where there's a big thunderstorm currently brewing; we kindly ask all passenger to go back to your assigned seat and buckle up. It's' going to be a very rough ride, please! stay seated and buckled up until it's over. Thank you!"
"What the heck! What now?' The never-ending tragedy of her life. When she was finally going to meet her long lost father, another tragedy seems to unfold. Alexa sat back up and put on the seatbelt and started praying to all the Gods she could think of.
"God, please!!! Let me meet my father first, and then you could take me anytime after that. Please!!!!" She mumbles to herself with her eyes closed. While she was praying, she thought about how this came about...

A week before, a private investigator came knocking on their door. One look at her and the picture on his hands was enough to confirm that she's the person he's been looking for more than a decade.
Alexa's deceased Mother got pregnant with her not knowing she's the other woman in her father's life.
She met Alexa's father in one of her gigs as an international model in Newyork City. It was love at first sight for both of them, with one issue; He's already engaged to be married to the daughter of a prestigious family.
He tried to break it off with no success. His future as the next candidate for Senator would be jeopardized and his future wife's family is a long time family friend and business partner.
Without letting Alexa Mother finding out, he got married while they continued their relationship on the side and she got pregnant thinking they would get married once she tells him. 'Wrong!'
Her Father's wife found out about her Mother. She went to her mother's apartment and created havoc and threatened her Mother if she doesn't cooperate.
Without informing her Father, Alexa's Mother moved to another state, only long enough for her to have a baby in America. After giving birth to Alexa, her Mother flew back to the Philippines and left Alexa in care of her old governess, - Grandmother Santos. Unknown to her parents and family that she had given birth to a beautiful baby girl.
Alexa's Mother turned into an alcoholic after that and ended up in a car accident that killed her instantly — leaving Alexa to be raised by Grandmother Santos like her flesh and blood.
There were times when Grandmother Santos was ready to tell Alexa the truth about her family.
However, each time she was about too, she would change her mind. Afraid that Alexa would leave her once she knows the truth and she selfishly kept it to herself.
Alexa doesn't have any idea that she and Grandmother Santos have no blood relation what so ever.
Grandmother Santos had treated her like her flesh and blood; no one in grandma Santos family knows about Alexa's true parentage and bloodline.
Grandmother Santos was planning on keeping the secret and carry it into her grave, but... fate had played a trick on her and brought the investigator in front of their door. She has no choice but to divulge the truth to Alexa and let her decide for herself what she wanted to do.
Alexa decided to meet her biological father and someday her mother's family. Grandmother Santos was not happy about it, but there's nothing she could do but wait for Alexa to return... If she would ever come back home...

The fasten your seatbelt sign finally turned off. The flight attendant voice rung in the air, "Attention ladies and gentlemen, we are now traveling in a clear sky. We passed the area where the storm was brewing, and it is now safe to move around the deck. Thank you for your patience."
Alexa opened her eyes with a big grin plastered on her beautiful young face. Unknown to her that the private investigator was watching her the whole time and was grinning from ear to ear.
"What? What's so funny? I can't help it that this is the first time in my life that I'm flying in an airplane and this would happen. It's better safe than sorry, you know!" Alexa was glaring at the private investigator who's accompanying her to meet with her father, President Grant of the United States of America...
