Wang Hu who was appreciating a photo album raised his head and took a look at the recipe, “Sure, I once helped my dad roast some pig, I would assume they are all the same?”

Wang Hu put away the photo album and left with Chen Jie.
Niu Junjie found that hard to comprehend, he raised his volume, “Guys, we literally just had breakfast, what’s the hurry to roast some lamb? No one gets hungry this fast.”
“Well, I’d say that’s good call.” Xing Shaofeng who just came to the living room with a report in his hand chimed in, “Roasted lamb takes an awfully long time to prepare, plus the seasoning time, it takes about three hours to roast a regular lamb, about five hours for a bigger one. The one Qiuhe has got for us was not particularly too large, it takes about three or four hours to roast I’d expect.”
Niu Junjie was dumbfounded, then he sprang from the sofa and shouted, “Guys, wait for me, I want to contribute too, I want to impress the group too, please wait for me.”
He Bai who was snuggling in the sofa looked back, Niu Junjie’s receding figure was all he could see, he shook his head and sighed, “Yeah, I’m sure you will impress the group, I’m not sure in which way though, Chef Niu!”

While ten minutes later, He Bai put down his gamepad with a crestfallen look.
“Shaofeng, you are so good at this, how come I never know about this!”
“Thanks, I don’t play often, it’s been a long while since the last time I played.” Xing Shaofeng said modestly, he poured He Bai a glass of water and asked, “Are you feeling better now?”
“Yep, but Qiuhe has been over protecting me, getting worried all the time.” said He Bai, seeing Xing Shaofeng put down the gamepad, he knew Xing Shaofeng lost the interest to continue so he changed the subject, “You dived right into work after you came, have you been busy? I thought you would be less occupied these days since Qiuhe has been resting at home lately.”
“Yeah, kinda busy, it’s not related to Qiuhe’s work though.” Xing Shaofeng explained, “It’s about An Xixi’s father, we have been working on convincing An Xixi’s father to become a tainted witness and report Qin Mingqiang, we also want to extend apologies to the one who he had drugged twenty years ago, we also want him to confess his crimes and serve his time. At the moment we are reaching out to the victim’s family, if we can get their forgiveness, An Xixi’s father would stand a chance of getting some leniency from the judge.”
He Bai frowned, he sat back on the sofa and held his plush, “If I were the victim’s family, I wouldn’t choose to forgive him. After so many years’ of torture, living under the effect of the drug, it’s impossible for me to forgive him.”

An Xixi’s father now was being ganged up against by Qin Mingqiang’s subordinates, he was having such a hard time, therefore, confessing his own crime was the best option for him.
