Who’s there?
Ye Qing Luo vigilantly paused her movements and subconsciously stuck her body to the wall.
This voice sounded husky, like it belonged to a male in his thirties to forties rather than a teenager.
The oldest student in the Heavenly Academy was only twenty-four.
Because the Heavenly Academy had stated clearly in its rules that those who were unable to graduate from the school by twenty-five would leave the school directly.
The Library Pavilion was only open to the high-level and god class students, even masters would need to seek the elder quarters’ permission.
Hence, Ye Qing Luo’s reflective intuition to hear a husky voice in this place was someone’s here with ill intentions!
“It’s done, the students will be on holiday in two days’ time. I have already kept the people that master has indicated and won’t leave any traces.” Another shady voice came along.
This voice sounded familiar to Ye Qing Luo, but she couldn’t recall where she had heard it from.
And in this conversation, there was a strange vibe engaged like some plan was brewing.
Perhaps this current timing wasn’t the time for reading.
Then again, perhaps these two might have often been meeting up at this timing.
The two had begun interacting before checking if the second floor of the library was empty.
They walked further into the library and stood along the long corridor of the reading room.
Ye Qing Luo was at the end of the long corridor and was still a distance apart from them, but the area was brightly lit by the bright pearls all around.
Any slight turns and she would be exposed to their vision.
Hearing the footsteps edging closer, Ye Qing Luo got tenser.
The conversation between the two men was obviously a secret.
If they discover her existence, they will definitely kill her to silence her.
In this Academy where talents were all over, Ye Qing Luo do not think she had the ability to escape from them without their knowledge.
She focused her attention and recited the chant in her heart, with a slight kick of her feet, she teleported herself into the last reading room at the end of the corridor.
She stayed put closely to the tightly shut wooden door and dared not make a single move.
Immediately she could hear the two men outside walking and continuing their conversation: “That freshman…”
“Don’t worry! I have been keeping watch of that freshman closely, I won’t disappoint the lord!”
The middle-aged man heard the words and responded with a satisfied hmm.
After a long silence, the middle-aged man was quiet and added a bit of solemnity: “The master’s big plan is about to be completed. If anything happens during this juncture, not even i will be able to save your life.”
“You can be assured, protector! I will do all I can and never let the lord down!”
That middle-aged man gave a satisfied response: “I will put in a few good words in front of the master for you, see you in two days’ time.”
“Thank you very much mister protector, I will not forget your great kindness!” the other fellow instantly flatter the other party to prove his loyalty.
A short while later, the long corridor regained its silence again.
Ye Qing Luo did not go out immediately, nor did she dared to release her perception to sense if there were anyone outside.
Around half an hour later, there wasn’t a single sound on the entire second level.
Ye Qing Luo finally rubbed her stiff limbs all over, her body was numb for not moving for too long.

One- They were executing some plans during the school holidays.

Four- Among their target was a freshman.
