On the other side of the city, someone else had also thrown his phone. However, the phone had broken into pieces that looked nothing like it was.
"Ah! Li Zhen, what was that sound?" A seemingly sweet voice of a lady in her middle age cried in worry and fear. Unlike before, the other person who had always cherished and adored her had not come up to her. She then had to carefully touch the walls beside her to lead the way to the other person.
Seeing the middle age lady walking with difficulty, Li Zhen couldn't help but swallow down his anger. He walked closer to her and had stopped her in time before she would step into the broken pieces of the phone that he had just smashed.
"Huan er, you should've waited for me to help you. Don't walk alone else you would step into something, alright?" Unlike his harsh tone that he had used with Jun Kai, he was talking so gently that it was as if it was another person entirely.
"Alright, but if I waited for you then I'll have to stand there all day long, wouldn't I?" The lady replied in a half agreeing and half blaming manner. She tried reaching out in the air to find Li Zhen, but ended up needing his help to put her hands on his face. The lady spoke with a gentle voice, "What had happened now, hm?"
Li Zhen's expression seemed to have brightened up faintly, but when thinking of the main reason of his anger; his heart boiled up, "It's that boy again. He took the responsibility to make the deal for the company, but do you know what told me? He said he had resigned his position since the day before. Now, how am I supposed to tell the board? Tut!"
Listening to the other person, her hand had moved to his shoulder and was patting on it gently. Her brows were knitted ever so slightly as if worried for the situation. Then, the next moment it had turned back to the usual soft and delicate face.
She righteously spoke, "It's alright. You don't have to take that responsibility.
