When Xia Liang and Xia Min ran desperately to the second floor, Dong Jun was crying of pain on the floor.
The phone was thrown on the floor, and the light made him look particularly painfully through his twisted face.
Captain Sun was waving the iron bar aimlessly and fearfully in an attempt to stop the zombie from approaching.
Unfortunately, he didn’t kill the zombie after a few attempts, but instead outraged the zombie.
Captain Sun was forced to step backward by the zombie. When he was cornered with fear and despair, an arrow was shot into zombie’s neck.
The zombie roared and fell down toward Captain Sun.
“Ah!”
He cried out of fear and quickly stepped back.
Sadly there was no way behind. It was a wall behind him.
Xia Liang watched helplessly that Captain Sun was wall bammed by a dead zombie.
But, this scene and experience of getting wall bammed was not beautiful at all.
Ew!
Captain Sun pushed away the dead body with great fear and vomited because of the rotten odor.
“You’ve got the key?”Xin Min walked over and asked him sullenly.
Captain Sun nodded while he was throwing up.
Xia Liang walked to Dong Jun who was still crying. His left leg was scratched by the zombie and the wound was bleeding.
She frowned but said nothing, then picked up the phone. She reached her hand trying to pull up Dong Jun.
Before she touched Dong Jun’s hand, she got grasped by Xia Min first.
Before she realized what happened, she was dragged behind Xia Min.
He was protecting her as if Dong Jun was a monster.
“Captain Sun, you support Dong Jun. I will get you covered. Let’s get out of here.” Said Xia Min calmly.
“Ok. Ok.” assented Captain Sun. He knew Xia Min capable and just saved his life, of course he would have no objection.
“Ouch! It hurts so much!”
Dong Jun was pulled up by Captain Sun. The pain on the left leg made him cry loud. He almost leaned half of himself on Captain Sun.
“Hold on there! Use your own strength too! Don’t press your whole body on me! Neither of us can move this way!” Captain Sun carried Dong Jun, gritting his teeth.
Xia Liang thanked her brother for stopping her carrying Dong Jun just now in her mind. If she did carry Dong Jun just now, she would be the one that was leaned on now.
Thinking of this, she felt more thankful to Xia Min, and said to him, “You are smart.”
Xia Min was confused why she praised him all of sudden. But he was amused anyway.
“Why do you say so?” Xia Min rubbed her hair.
“I wouldn’t be strong enough to carry him.” Xia Liang answered while wrinkling her nose.
Xia Min, “…”
So he was praised because of this?
He didn’t understand why he stopped his sister helping Dong Jun. But he was sure that it was not the reason that his sister just said.
Xia Min was speechless and could only accept the compliment silently.
