“What? Are you saying Ye Fei? Isn’t he supposed to be in that small town? How is it possible he shows up here?” Dong Jun screamed in horror as he heard Xia Min.
Xia Liang frowned too and had a really bad feeling about this.
Staying out the sight of everyone, Zhao Xinrui looked up at Xia Min who was sitting on the top of the wall and the iron door. She pursed her lips, squeezed her fists but finally loosen them.
Xia Min looked at Ye Fei again and saw he was roaring, throwing his hands high up in the air, pointing where they were.
Xia Min didn’t realize what Ye Fei was up to at the beginning. Until those monsters gathered around as they heard Ye Fei’s roar, he finally understood.
Ye Fei was summoning and commanding those monsters to attack them!
Xia Min could feel their fear of fire though, they still ran toward them and they got even faster and faster.
They were persistent and brave like a moth to a flame.
“Go check if we have firewood in the kitchen? Go get everything we can set on fire. Books! Paper boxes, clothes. Anything you can find!” Xia Min shouted at Captain Sun and the group anxiously.
Then he turned around at those approaching monsters who were piling up and said to himself,
“This is going to last one night!”

Clothes, quilts, and books were all flammable, which was good for them. But on the bad side, the fire could not last long.
An increasing number of monsters were burned to death. The smell of burning dead bodies was nauseous.
The dark smoke of burning not only made it obscure to see through and it was terribly painful if one smoked it into lung.

Xia Min coughed badly as he tossed the firing clothes out of the wall. His face was getting terrible.
Dong Jun and the group didn’t stop collecting more flammable things from the house. They brought out as many as they could. In the end, they would rather to tear down the house and used the wood to burn.
However, the monsters didn’t decrease. Only they and the monsters now lived in the city. More monsters were approaching.
They were smashing the door now and then.
The iron door had been smashed badly because of the fire and monsters’ attack. It could be broken in for a long time.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
Shao Qingqing’s heart missed a beat every time monsters smashed the door.
Like she did many times before, now she turned around and checked if the iron door was safe again when the door was smashed.
“Ah!”
Shao Qingqing screamed with a look at it.
The door was broken. A monster broke in and pounced on her.
Startled by Shao Qingqing’s scream, the group looked over and saw a formidable monster coming in. They were freaked out.
“Ah! Help!”
Shao Qingqing screamed in fear. Her legs were shaking because of fear. She couldn’t even move her legs, not to mention to fight against those monsters.
Right before the monster clinched her neck, Xia Liang shoveled her away and smashed the monster in the head with the iron bar in her hands.
These monsters were weakened and slower due to the fire. With only a heavy smash on the head, they could be killed.
Just now Xia Liang had to push Shao Qingqing away to the iron door to save her life. If Shao Qingqing could run away from the door right away, she would be safe.
However, she didn’t run away from the door right after because she was too scared to move. When Xia Liang was done with killing the monster and turned around, she saw another monster breaking in from the door.
And it was reaching for Shao Qingqing who was leaning against the wall and scratching her face.
“Ah!”
At that time, Shao Qingqing’s scream was especially loud at night!
