Snow White nibbled her dark red lips, her black and long eyelashes slightly lifted, revealing her eyes filled with cowardice and hope, “Mother, would you come to Snow White’s palace again?” After asking this sentence, she seemingly felt some unease and regret, her skin became slightly pale, “Snow White is too avaricious…”
“Since you have pleaded me so, then I would have to reluctantly agree.” the queen who was dressed with magnificent royal apparel, slightly lifted her chin and said in an overbearing expression.
When Snow White heard the queen’s reply, her ebony eyes faintly shined, and her face painted with a light scarlet color, revealing a bashful expression, and while furling her lips she said, “If mother could come here, Snow White would very much be elated.”

Coming out from Snow White’s imperial palace, Shen Mubai’s heart was full with tender affection for the lovely Snow White, how could the former queen be willing to treat her like that?
After returning to the queen’s residence, Shen Mubai’s stomach was already rumbling with hunger. She said to the Magic Mirror listlessly, “Magic Mirror ah, Magic Mirror, tell me ah, how can I steal some beef steak and foie gras from the kitchen?”
Magic Mirror: “…Answering the queen, there’s already no beef steak and foie gras in the kitchen anymore.”
Shen Mubai didn’t lose hope, “Then what kind of food is there?”
Magic Mirror answered, “There’s raw salad, another green salad, fruit salad, mashed potato, toast, butter, milk…”
After hearing that, Shen Mubai asked, “Any chicken?”
The Magic Mirror shivered as it somewhat answered cautiously, “There’s no chicken, Queen.”
Shen Mubai said to the System, “Is this what you said to me about ‘wanting something will get something’?”
System said, “Why would you blame me when there’s nothing in the kitchen?”
Shen Mubai only felt that she had became the most pitiful person in the whole world, she said with full of grievance, “Having you as my system, slaving me to finish tasks but won’t even let me eat until I’m full.”
System paused for a while, “You can take point and convert it at the market for food.”
When she heard what the system said, Shen Mubai immediately became vigilant, “Don’t ever think about it!”
System: “…then you can continue starving.”
Shen Mubai ambitiously thought, am I someone who will spend point just to eat some food?
After an hour gone by, she lied on the bed and said to system, “Give me one chicken.”
After she ate the chicken, Shen Mubai burped with satisfaction, she stroke the round tummy and said to the maid outside her room, “I want to take a walk in the garden to relieve boredom.”
The maid took a quick glance at the happy Queen and said, “Yes, Queen.”
The garden inside the imperial palace cultivated many breeds of flowers, with gorgeously bright-coloured multiflora rose, the flaming red bewitching rose, in addition, there’s also baby breath, fish geranium and all kind of sort of flowers. Leaning on the wall’s periphery was the green thistles and thorns that seemed like bundling the entire garden among them. Although it’s beautiful beyond words, but it gave people a feeling of being unable to struggle free from the gloomy binding.
Shen Mubai’s heart felt unease, her line of sight moved away from those thistles and thorns, and immediately attracted to a unique flower growing nearby.
That was a kind of delicate white flower with the size only as big as a thumb, under the day light, its whole body sending out a thin fluorescent light. They were pressed into one bundle, pure and glorious, even though they were in the middle of hundreds of other flowers, they can still depend on their own charm to fascinate people’s gaze.
“What kind of flower is this?” The young queen slightly lifted her chin towards the flower’s direction to ask.
“Answering the Queen, that flower is called Day Flower [T/N: 白昼花].” the maidservant answered.
