As she was walking away from the city square, she thought, "I should be able to learn that class now." She stopped, extended her hand, clenched it forming a fist and then unclenched it – the menu opened and she tapped on the inventory option. The inventory window opened and she tapped on the only item in her inventory – Secret Tome Of The Necromancer.

"Those are some overpowered abilities… So disappointing," she shook her head and her thoughts continued, "Well at least, my luck stat is what I expected it to be." She looked at the stat portion of the window and with her right hand allocated the points. Putting 5 points into Strength, 5 points into Dexterity, 5 Points into Intellect and the last 5 points into Vitality. She then looked at her stats once more and closed the window afterwards.

After closing the window she looked around once more. Not seeing other players or NPCs she furrowed her eyebrows and thought, "There is no one here, no players, no monsters and no quests, only some buildings. Where should I go from here, do I leave this city and search for quests and monsters or should I search in the city for quests?" A single breath of time passed, she smiled and thought, "If in doubt rely on luck."
She plucked a feather from her wings and threw it into the air. This time no wind blew and the feather slowly floated to the top of her head. She removed the feather from her head and looked at it. "Does that mean I should use the <Gate To The Underworld>?" she thought.
Reading the instruction manual before starting the game, she knew exactly how to use skills, she extended her hand and used it, <Gate To The Underworld>. A gate appeared before her and she without hesitation passed through it. Her surroundings changed and she appeared in a new area. With the changed surroundings, a notification flashed before her.

A man dressed in a black shirt and black pants laid on a rug which cost more than 500,000 Yuan. The rug wasn't the only expensive thing in this cell. There was a double bed, an OLED TV, a fridge which was stocked with soda drinks and potato chips, a computer, body training equipment and a pool table.
The man who laid on the expensive rug was a middle-aged man around 37 years old. He had a scar going from his right eye to his mouth, his hair was black and short and his hairstyle a military one. A beard and moustache were vacant from his face and his body was muscular.
"Mor Rick!" a sudden shout sounded.
His eyes opened and surprise flashed across his face. He turned his head to the sudden sound and saw a man standing behind the cell doors. He rose up from the ground and walked up to the cell door, "You have already delivered my breakfast, so why did you came back?" he asked as he looked at the man who was separated from him by a cell door.
"We have a proposition for you, Mor Rick."
He raised his eyebrow in surprise, "Proposition? In ten years that I have spent in this cell, I have never heard any of you jailers speak a single word to me and now you not only spoken to me but you came with a proposition?" He crossed his arms and smirked.
"Do you want to leave the prison?" a jailer said.
Mor Rick's eyebrow raised up in surprise, "Leave? In ten years you never let me outside of this cell and now you asking me if I want to leave?"
"Do you want to leave or not?"
Mor Rick nodded, "I do."
The man reached out for his pocket and retrieved a small pill and pushed it through the food hole, "Eat it."
"What is this?"
"Just safety measures, we can't let you leave this cell without some measures. Now eat it."
"Fine." He gulped down the pill, "Happy?"
"Don't do anything stupid if you don't receive the antidote pill in fifteen minutes you will die," he pulled out a key and opened the cell door, "Follow me, we are going to the warden's office."
Mor Rick shrugged his shoulders, "I understand." He walked out of the cell door and followed the jailer. On the way there Mor Rick tried talking to the jailer but he was ignored and it was like he was talking with a wall.
They stopped near the warden's office. The jailer stopped turned around and faced Mor Rick, "Go in, he is expecting you."
He nodded his head and entered the office. Inside, he saw a man who was faced away from him looking through a glass window which showed the sea which was outside of the prison walls.
"You have a proposition for me warden?"
The man without turning around said, "If you are here then you want to go to the outside world don't you."
Mor Rick nodded, "I do, so what do you want from me?"
The warden turned around and looked at Mor Rick who stood near the door, "Please come closer and sit down, don't be shy." He with his hand pointed at the chair that stood directly in front of his desk.
Mor Rick nodded, he walked up to the table and sat down. The warden smiled and he sat down as well, he pulled out a manual and placed it in front of Mor Rick.
"What is this?" Mor Rick asked.
"This is the manual for a game RE: AWO."
"A game?"
"Yes, if you want your freedom you have to do one of the two things, its either you beat this game in its entirety or you are the one that collected most Prestige points after 20 in-game years."
Mor Rick raised his eyebrow in surprise, "You want me to play a game?"
"Not just any game a VRMMORPG."
Mor Rick frowned, "Are you messing with me? Are you seriously going to release me if I beat this game?"
The warden smiled and he pulled out a single document, "This is your release form, six members out of the ten already signed it and now only my signature is missing. Fulfil one of the two conditions and you are free to go."
