Seeing the notification message, Dro frowned and turned to Cari, "Is something wrong?" he asked.

Cari lowered her head, closed her eyes and after a short pause said, "No… everything is fine," she opened her eyes and looked up, meeting Dro's dark red eyes. He slowly nodded his head.

"Zandar is quite away from here, I should just teleport there," Dro thought then extended his right hand and after a few seconds, the realm gate appeared.

"It's that gate again are we going back into that place?" Cari thought.

The old man widened his eyes in shock and mumbled, "What is that? A gate?"

"Let's go," Dro said and walked through the gate, disappearing. Cari nodded and she walked through the gate as well, disappearing after him together with the gate.

The old man rubbed his eyes, "That adventurer is gone… his companion is gone… and that gate is also gone… I have never seen anything like that… could it be that that adventurer was a sorcerer?... But isn't his body a little too well built to be sorcerer though?… Well he didn't have any weapons on him, so maybe he was?" he thought.

<Rift Between The Worlds>

Appearing in the rift between the worlds, a notification flashed; Dro with Cari following behind him walked to the stone. Stopping at it, Dro said, "Zandar!"

The light flashed and their surroundings changed; a notification flashed.

<Capital Zandar>

Appearing at the gates of the city, memories of not so distant past flashed through Dro's head. He recalled how he entered the city for the first time and what happened soon afterwards. He chuckled and walked into the city with Cari walking behind him.

Walking through the city streets, Cari looked around curiously as this was the first time, she was ever in any kind of city as she was previously a wolf who only knew of the forest and the den that she lived in. She saw various pre-romanesque buildings surrounding them and crowds of people walking beside them. These crowds of people had both NPCs and players alike. "This is amazing," she thought.

"I first have to take a profession, I will go to the armoury later… That said where are the profession trainers?… Usually, guards give such information, I need to find one and ask," Dro thought.

Not long after, Dro spotted a guard and walked up to him, the guard was dressed in full armour with a shield on his back and a sword on the right side of his waist.

"Where are the profession trainers," Dro said.

The guard sighed inwardly, "Another rude adventurer?" he thought and said, "Which profession trainer you want to find?"

"What professions trainers are there?"

The guard sighed inwardly again before saying, "Armoursmithing, Weaponsmithing, Mining, Jewelcrafting, Sculpting, Elixir Concoction, Tailoring, Carpentry, Herb Gathering, Farming, Fishing, Hunting, Woodcutting and Item Examination."

"That's quite a list… and there is an item examination profession, awesome!" Dro thought and said, "Where can I find the item examination profession trainer?"

The guard nodded, he raised his hand and pointed his finger in a direction, "Go into that direction, then take two lefts and a right and you will see a small building."

Dro glanced at the minimap and saw that it was now tracked by the minimap, "Thank you," he said and with Cari following behind him walked to the location.

The guard looked at Dro's departing back, "This one knew how to say 'thank you' at least, unlike those others," he thought.

Dro quickly reached the area and saw a small two storey building. It had a sign at the door which said 'Item Examination profession'. Seeing it, Dro's eyes lit up and he walked inside; Cari followed him in.

Inside the building, there were various pieces of armour and weapons hanging on all four walls of the room. The room itself was not large and it could be crossed by only taking 8 steps but it seemed larger as the middle of the room was empty. At the end of the room, there was a staircase which led to the second floor and beside the staircase stood a counter. Behind the counter sat an old man who had both of his eyes closed and both of his hands crossed and resting on the counter.

Entering the building Dro looked at the old man which was mere 9 steps away.

<Item Examiner Master, Nart>

Dro walked up to Nart and Nart opened his eyes.

"Hello," Dro said.

Nart nodded, "Hello, adventurer, did you come to learn my craft?"

Dro nodded, "Yes,"

Nart nodded, "Very well."

The old man pulled out a book, a feather and a container with ink from behind the counter and opened it, "Write your name and you will be registered as a rookie of item examination profession."

Dro nodded and did what he was told; a few notifications flashed.

<Item Examination Profession Learned>

<1/2 Professions Selected>

Dro smiled, "Thank you," he said and walked out of the building. He looked at Cari, "I am going to open the menu and allocate your points and look at my profession, don't interrupt me."

Cari nodded, "Yes," she said and thought, "Those were the words I heard for the first time but I knew what they were… strange."

Dro first opened the menu and selected the new profession option and he selected his newly acquired profession and a new and unseen window opened.

As Dro was reading through the descriptions of his profession, he suddenly recalled something that he forgot to do and he shouted out in his mind, "I forgot! I forgot to examine the item that I received from wolf den dungeon… I can't identify it with my skill level of the profession but I still have three uses of that scroll, I should use it."

Dro accessed his items and used the scroll on the item he received from Rosl.

Dro then equipped it and opened Cari's character window.
