After Class, Zeek logged in Gods Realm and started the quest again. Zeek reached level 18 after finishing his 100th quest.
"Again!?, is this a glitch?", Zeek is wondering why the quest is on repeat and the Old man didn't even say a single dialogue.
Zeek continued to get the quest Even though it didn't give him quest exp. after 2 days of grinding Forrest Whelps Zeek reached level 20 and gaining Exp became slower.
"I already lost track on how many times I've finished this quest and the old man is still not talking to me, do I need to do something?",Zeek said.
After another day goes by and Zeek still doing the Old Mans quest. after 4 days straight of grinding and farming Zeek reached Level 23, suddenly Zeek received a private call.
"Bro, we'll try running the Trial of the Forrest, the guides said that the King Trent is at Level 25, do you think we can make it?" Grid asked.
"What Level are you guys now?" Zeek asked.
"All of us are Level 18 already, we completed the blue item drops in the Rock Empire", Grid answered.
"Try it out, for now, I'll send you some Divine Fire Potion," Zeek said.
"Thank Bro!", Grid replied and dropped the call.
After that Zeek called Flower.
"Flower, I want you to sell off the Vitality Potions and Divine Wind Potion that you made in bulk, sell it one bulk at a time" Zeek ordered.
"W-what about the Divine Fire Potions?", Flower said.
"We will release the potions after someone finished the first clear in Trial Forrest," Zeek said.
"What about the price?", Flower said.
"1 gold per bulk in Vitality Potion and 10 gold per bulk for the Divine Wind Potion," Zeek said.
"Okay, sir" Flower replied and dropped the call.
Zeek started the quest again until morning. At the school, the two talked about the Trial Forrest.
"The system said that the Trial Forrest is for level 15 and up but the monsters there are so hard to handle," Grid said.
"Practice on your timing and always look at your surroundings, sometimes terrain advantage can be seen on a map layout," Zeek said.
"What do you mean by that?" Grid said.
"You're an Archer, the terrain is a forest, do you understand now?" Zeek said
"No!, just tell me straight!", Grid asked.
"Let the long ranged character get to the trees and bombard the boss with skills while Light tank it out," Zeek said
"Wow, you're right, will try it out today, what's up with you on the Vulcan Empire, are you stuck in a quest?," Grid asked.
"Yeh, I think there is a glitch in the system, after giving the quest to the NPC it stops and gives me the same quest without giving me an exp", Zeek said
"I Don't think it's a glitch, the God System is the one monitoring the gaming." Grid said.
After class the two walked home and logged in the game, Zeek finished the quest and walked back to the mansion, after entering the door he saw the NPC but the children are gone.
"This is different", Zeek said.
As he approached the old man he felt a shake.
"Earthquake!?"Zeek shouted.
"What Perseverance you have kid, you finished the quest 1,000 times already and you still planning to take it again?" Veromeer said.
"Y...you talked!?," Zeek was surprised and excitedly approached Verommer.
"What do you want to know young man", Verommer asked.
"I want to learn the fighting style of Wrath", Zeek said.
"It's called the Shadow of Destruction", Verommer said.
"Do you know any clue to acquire it?", Zeek asked.
Verommer then raised his hand and a Tome appeared, The book looks old and parts of it are burned, the emblem in the middle of the tome is a sword and dagger crossed each other.
"Y...you have it?", Zeek said.
"If you want this Tome I can give it to you, But this power that you seek is a curse that cannot be undone after acquiring it.", Verommer warned Zeek.
"Now, child of man, do you wish to attain this power?", Verommer added.
"Please let me have it", Zeek said
A bright light enveloped Verommer and the light entered the tome. After the light faded a system popped out of Zeek.

(Only 1 person can attain the Job: Lord of Shadows, following quests, will be attainable after Job Level 50).

After seeing the description Zeek was lost for words after he uses the tome his exp bar will be 10x longer to level up including the job exp that he will attain after level 20, and on top of that he will also lose 10 levels and every skill that he has.
After thinking things thru Zeek used the tome and a dark light enveloped his body, the shadow then warped around him and a symbol appeared in his forehead, the symbol looks like the Family Crest of Wrath, two dragon symbol flying circle with each other and a black dot in the middle.
Zeek now is Level 13 again. but after changing his job his stats became higher and an additional job skill appeared on his skill list.

"Bro, are you finished with your quest?," Grid said
"Yap, I'm done now I'll just drop something in the City Library and be on my way back to Clad Village, why?, Is there a problem?"Zeek answered
"We did what you told us and defeated the First Boss, but we didn't even survive for a minute fighting the Dungeons Main Boss." Grid said.
"Run it, for now, just kite and record it for me. I'll review it after I arrive there, the more skills the boss unleashed is better." Zeek said.

"Excuse me, can I have an appointment with Archive Manager Zafir".

"No, thank you, my old friend's curse has been lifted because of your help," Zafir said.

"Only one can inherit the Shadow of Destruction Tome. Zeek, after someone inherits the power within the Tome the original owner of the said power will be eaten by the tome itself, that is why we call it the curse of Wrath". Zafir explained.
"So that's why the old man vanished after he gave me the tome". Zeek said
"Do you need anything else?," Zafir asked.
"No, I just stopped by to say thank you for the help that you've given me". Zeek said.
"Well then, I have an old friend to visit and gave my respect to, Until we meet again", Zafir said

"Did you finished the dungeon?" Zeek asked.
"Nope, we are resting right now, we got wiped out but we captured some information for you to review, I'll send it right now", Grid reported.
After receiving the video clip, Zeek started to review the content and return call Grid.
"Meet me at the town portal after an hour, will run it together". Zeek said.
After dropping the call Zeek called Flower.
"Flower hows the potion business going?", Zeek asked.
"I'll send the report to you now sir," Flower said.
"Can you also give me 250 Vitality Potion (Earth) and 250 Divine Fire Potion."Zeek requested

Zeek acquired a total of 472 gold coins 250 Vitality Potion (Earth) and 250 Divine Fire potion from Flower, Zeek then bought a farm material Rake used by lifestyle players, after that he went straight to the portal and teleported near the Trial of the Forrest dungeon, after arriving, Zeek saw many players searching for party members.
"Forming a party, Need Tanker Lvl 18 and up"
"2/5 need DPS Lvl 18 and above"
After a moment of walking, Zeek heard a familiar voice.
"Endless!, here"
Zeek saw Grid waving on him, After approaching the party Grid invited Zeek and saw his level.
"What's wrong with your level?, I thought you'll be level 20 by now", Grid asked.
The four of them were so confused on Zeeks Level.
"The quest that I did Deducted 10 levels after I finished it," Zeek explained.
"There is a quest like that!?," Light said
"Let's prepare for now before entering the dungeon", Zeek then gathered his group on the sideline to talk strategy. After a minute the crowd venturing the Trial of the Forrest dungeon started to make noise.
"Somethings up," Grid then jumped on the nearby three to see what's happening, he saw a group of 5 beautiful female walking towards the portal while the other players make a way for them.
"OMG, that's Piercing Rose!"Flaming Beauty shouted.
"Piercing what?" Zeek asked.
"Oh, I forgot, this is your first VRMMO, Piercing Rose is called The War Goddess in other games, She's one of the top Spear Masters in Dynasty Wars, every player knows her." Flaming Beauty explained.
"Is She strong?" Zeek asked.
"Of course!, she'll never be called a War Goddess if she's not strong", Flaming Beauty said.
"I guess they'll get the first clear now", Grid said.
"Those are the top players of Cloud Nine Guild", Light said
Zeek used Shadow Inspect on Piercing Rose to see her level.

After arranging all of them the party stood on the portal alongside Piercing Rose's Team.
Zeek then entered the Level of the dungeon that the team will enter, suddenly the blue gate turned red with maroon colors shaping the portal like a skull opening his mouth.
After all the players saw the portal they already know that the difficulty that Zeek selected was Hell mode. Every dungeon starting from level 10 will have the difficulty option of Normal, Hard and Hell mode, the drop rate of items in this level varies on Normal = +10% drop rate, Hard = +50% drop rate, and Hell Mode = 100% drop rate. seeing a team tackle a Hell Mode in a dungeon that still in progress of first clear is unheard off.
"Seriously!?, our team consists of four level 18 and one level 15 and you want to take on Hell Mode?," Grid said.
The four were stunned for a moment after seeing the portal changed.
"Yap, the dungeon will be hard and the drop will be high, so let's just try it out, what good is the game if you don't want to venture the unknown,", Zeek said smiling.
