What he saw in the screen was drastically different than the flat land that was there before. The view was zoomed in, having remembered the position he left it in, and it provided a magical bird's eye view of a forest which seemed to sparkle under the last rays of the setting sun.

'When I left, the sun was in it's zenith, how come it's already setting now? Whatever, I'll ask about it later.'

Meng Li decided to first explore the new world. He first teleported into the forest, wanting to see how the canopy looked like from under it. As he had thought, it looked simply mesmerizing. Deciding to go and explore the rest of the island he was currently located on, Meng Li started running. This time, he chose to run west, since most of the smaller islands and the big piece of land was located there. His excitement towards the deep sea was greatly reduced, since there weren't any behemoths there, at least now. And most importantly, he couldn't go there - even with his newfound strength, he'd get crushed in an instant at such a depth.

After running for about half an hour and thinking idly about what the rest of the island would look like, he came to the realization that by running, he wouldn't get far. Despite having ran for over 200 km in under 4 hours previously, that was on flat land - and what he was currently running on was definitely not flat. And when he left this island, there wouldn't even be land to run on, only sea. So, he asked the system.

'Can I fly?' It was a simple question, and he was met with a simple solution.

[No. At most float for a period of time.]

At least the system was helpful, not hiding things from him and making sassy remarks like some of the ones that he had read about.

'Is there some way I'd be able to fly?'

[Yes, you can summon an item that can help with flight.]

Meng Li had the urge to plant his face in the ground as he heard that. How did he forget about the item section in the summoning tab? Berating himself mentally, he sunk into his consciousness and opened the item section. He also tried to send a mental command to search for items that could help him fly - he had a thought that since all of this was managed by some kind of an AI he named the 'system', the screen probably could also accept such complicated commands. He was not disappointed, as the screen quickly refreshed. What appeared was a huge amount of items, all of them had one function - to allow the person to fly.

There were consumable items which could allow flight for a certain period of time, items which could help a person fly by standing on them, like shuttles or swords, or even techniques. As he wanted to quickly get an item which could help him fly, he eliminated the consumables - why should he settle for a temporary solution when he can have a permanent one - and the techniques. After all, according to the cultivation booklet, at the Qi Foundation Realm flight was possible to do without any outside help. Techniques might be able to boost his speed, but he was not worried about it at the moment.

After a few minutes of browsing, Meng Li had chosen. What he summoned was one of the more expensive, or rather exhausting, items he could summon, and it was the fastest according to the system. It was a surprising shape for a flight treasure - a pendant. Fortunately, it came with a string. When he placed it on his neck, the pendant lay smugly against his chest. Immediately after putting it on, Meng Li felt strangely light. He expected it, as the effect of the pendant was double - it made him lighter, which allowed for more agile movements, as well as increased the strength of the lift when he tried to fly. It essentially made flight more efficient - although a Qi Sea cultivator couldn't fly, it was mainly because their qi was depleted extremely quickly. The strongest cultivators could at most fly for a few minutes before having to stop and recharge their qi. However, with this pendant, his passive qi regeneration was all he needed to fly, and with his reduced weight he would be able to fly even faster.

Flying, despite being unfamiliar with it, turned out to be really easy. With Meng Li's training of control with the nameless technique, he was able to get the hang of it in minutes. In merely half an hour, he was able to fly at practically the top speed his qi allowed him to. With his newfound power, he flew over the tops of the mountains which previously slowed him down.

Speaking of the mountains, they really were something. It seems that the system took him extremely seriously when he said to make every island mountainous. Which was great, since it made for a spectacular scene once the sun started setting down. So spectacular in fact, that Meng Li couldn't help but sit at a peak of a nearby mountain and stare in awe at the magnificent scene. Once it passed, he once again started flying.

The dark didn't really bother him since he could see in the dark much better than he previously could, and since he was flying, sight wasn't really that important anyway.

In less than an hour, Meng Li reached the shore. Even before he could see the sea, he could already smell it. The salty breeze brought back many memories, both good and bad.

Meng Li shook his head slightly to get rid of the unwanted memories and instead focused on the sea before him. With his vision which could bring a hawk to shame, he could spot blurry outlines of fish swimming happily near the shore. After staring at the spectacle for a few minutes, he resumed his journey. He wanted to see the big piece of land he had dubbed the 'mainland'.

While flying above the water, Meng Li rarely saw anything unusual, but he did manage to see several interesting things. He spotted a few whales surfacing for air, and he also managed to spot one of the giant serpents he summoned. It was a few hundred meters away, but it managed to spot him and seemed to want to eat him. He simply flew higher up and after losing sight of him, the creature simply swam away.

He had to admit, the sight of the gigantic jaw filled with teeth, each bigger than himself was quite imposing, but the ability to fly gave him a lot of courage too.

After flying for a few hours, Meng Li was quite tired, so he found a small island and made himself a hammock there. It was his second night of sleep since he was brought to the white room, and the first he'd spend outside of it. It was incredibly relaxing to fall asleep under the night sky filled with countless stars and two moons. This was a thing he just noticed - the planet he was on had two moons. The exotic sight was something he could never see back on earth.

The next day, Meng Li woke up refreshed. He didn't really know how long he had slept, but it was not important - after all, he had nothing urgent to do. He once again resumed his journey going west.

After passing by several other small islands, he finally reached a bigger piece of land. He didn't know whether he was on the mainland, but a quick check with the map in his mind confirmed it. And after looking around for a while, Meng Li was stumped. He didn't know what to do. He came to this land thinking that it would be exciting, but there was... Really, nothing there. Well, after all, this was a completely uninhabited world, save for himself, and since it was created by the system, there probably wouldn't be exciting places created by nature... So, for now, Meng Li decided to return to the white room.

He sat on the mat in the middle and started thinking. 'There really isn't anything to do here without any other people around...' Despite being a complete introvert, being all alone in such a vast world created a sense of discomfort inside of him. He wanted to have some humans create a civilization, cities, kingdoms, empires! And with the ability to cultivate, the interactions would be much more interesting than the history of earth. After all, with cultivation, a single person could go against an entire country as long as his cultivation base was high enough - the possibilities were endless. So, for now, Meng Li's only option was to simply sit down and cultivate.

First, he checked his cultivation base. To his surprise, it wasn't what he remembered it to be - he broke through to the Qi Sea realm merely a few days ago, so by all logic he should be at the first level, but he checked, and his level stayed at the 9th level of Qi Sea - actually, far more than that. You see, Qi Sea was a realm in which the only real way to quantify a person's strength was through the size of their Qi Sea. There were nine levels, but they weren't hard barriers between them - in fact, they were more like markers - a person at a certain level had a Qi Sea of a certain size. But when Meng Li checked his Sea, it was far bigger than what a ninth level Qi Sea cultivator should have.

'Uhhhh... Any advice?' he asked the system.
