"It would seem Alexander and the brat have run into the oldest son, Jonathan Wilderwolf and his uncle, Kil Wilderwolf. They have grouped up and have taken refuge at an inn called the Golden Cloud Inn." Savre reported calmly.

"Oh, Jonathan is that genius child Magician, right? He's quite popular these days. He should be at the Late Inner Haven Rank, and his Uncle at the Late Stage Spirit Rank, like myself..." The Beast-Eyed Killer narrowed his eyes and clenched his teeth. This made things even more complicated. 'At least his wife isn't there... The Abstract Brush Magician. Or the two other Sky Magician's in their godforsaken family, the Heavenly Wolf Magician and Wolf King Magician.'

"Oh, you don't have to worry about those two though." Savre said with a confident smile.

"Eh, why's that?" The Beast-Eyed Killer narrowed his eyes questioningly at Savre.

"Right now, the young genius Jonathan Wilderwolf should be partaking in the Wilderwolf's tradition where they go on a journey when they reach the age of 16. Currently, he's been travelling about with his Uncle for more than half the year and this should still be ongoing. I believe him meeting his father was a big coincidence and they should split up again in a few days, maybe sooner." Savre explained.

"Haha, that really good. That makes things a little more simpler." The Beast-Eyed Killer's mouth twisted into a nasty grin. "So how are their defenses, can we act tonight?"

"That... I'm afraid that its not doable." Savre's expression turned wry as he shook his head with a sigh. "The Wilderwolf's personal army lives up to its reputation. They have surrounded the inn and left little to no gap for entry. Not only is the inn guarded, but its also rather compact, with all of the Wilderwolf members living close to each other. It is likely that even if we get passed their soldier's detection, we would most likely be caught by one of them, especially a Sky Magician like Alexander Wilderwolf."

"Alexander, the Frigid Wolf Magician!" Beast-Eyed Killer gritted his teeth in anger. "It would seem we will have to wait for them to leave the city... Our best option would be to act when they are in a more secluded location."

"I fear that this is our best course of action." Savre nodded in agreement.

The next day, the kitten awoke with a satisfying yawn. Her eyes still closed, she snuggled into the warmth that pressed against her soft belly. Hugging that warmth close, Lexa heavily debated on the merits of getting up or just staying asleep a little longer...

Sadly for the kitten, this decision was made for her when she suddenly felt herself being lifted from that source of that warmth. Opening her eyes abruptly, it was only then that she noticed that the warm thing pressed against her belly was the face of her newly acquired partner, Andria.

Having just woke up, Andria was shocked to find only darkness when her eyes opened and she let out a long scream!

Lexa was shocked in return and lost her footing. Immediately she tumbled backwards and rolled down the length of Andria's upper body, landing awkwardly but softly on the covers covering her legs. Lexa blinked her eyes in a daze, she was feeling a little ditsy.

A second later, the door to the room was slammed open, revealing the anxious faces of Jonathan, Alexander and Kil.

"Andria?!" Jonathan shouted in exasperation as he thought his little sister was in danger, only to look on stupidly as he saw the innocent scene of Andria sitting up on her bed with the kitten on her lap.

"Eh, was it a nightmare sweetie?" Alexander asked as he walked up to his daughter's side, leaning against the bed and patting her head lovingly.

"Andria can see now, its a miracle!" Andria clapped her hands excitedly. She wasn't blind anymore!

Lexa smiled as wryly as a cat could before explaining the misunderstanding. If it weren't for her silver fur, her cheeks would be dyed red in her embarrassment. What was she, a child holding onto a teddy bear, how embarrassing!

'Oh wait, I guess a kitten is a child!...' Lexa felt enlightened...

For the rest of that day, Lexa and Andria stayed under house arrest as the investigation on her attack was continued, lead by Uncle Kil. Meanwhile, her father didn't let this distract from the reason for his visit to Skyview City and proceeded to work out the matters that caused him to visit the city in the first place.

Meanwhile, Jonathan stayed by Andria and Lexa's side, watching over them while also joining in with their antics every now and then. Throughout the day, he was quite surprised at how fast the kitten and his little sister's relationship was quickly progressing.

Because the kitten had been stuck around adult's (Jonathan: *cough* I'm a youthful 16 thank you very much. Lexa: How about you act it, you money grubbing grandpa.) since coming to this world and also having the unease of being in a new environment, she has had little time to play and adventure as she was busy getting used to her new life, especially in her understanding of her magic and the state of the world around her.

But now, while their was the threat of that unknown threat, she felt at ease around these powerful figures protecting her and with the help of a hyperactive, cute girl egging her on, the kitten couldn't help her own childish side coming out as she played several games with her and Jonathan.

The game that caught her eyes the most was a game called 'Splat'. This was a game that required the use of magic to create a non-elemental substance that when it struck a surface, stains it until someone cleans it off with more magic. The game could be played in teams or otherwise, and the goal of the game was usually to colour the opponents fully in their own colour. Sometimes, kids would change up the rules and objectives, such as having required areas to be shot on the body or having objects being the targets instead of themselves.

There was a very good reason this was Lexa's favourite game... And that was that she had a huge advantage due to her small size, allowing her to easily dodge Andria's and Jonathan's attack's rather effortlessly.

In the end, Andria puffed up her cheeks and quickly formed a truce with Jonathan, viciously teaming up against her. By the time night had come around, Lexa had become a blue and pink kitten...

Several days passed like this peacefully until eventually a whole week had passed uneventfully. Uncle Kil's investigation had been fruitless and it was now time for him to join Jonathan as they head off to continue their journey.

They couldn't stay too long as they had only a few months left and the journey to the Claw Reverence Empire was a long one, so Uncle Kil could only reluctantly pass on his job to the Spirit Ranked leader of the Wilderwolf soldier in Skyview City.

And so like that, a solemn atmosphere surrounded the Northern Gates as their rather big group of people stood just outside the gates. Jonathan, Uncle Kil and their eight soldier's/servant's behind them on one side and Alexander, Andria, Lexa and their soldier's behind them on the other, all looking in the eyes of the other party with a hint of reluctance in them. This was a goodbye between siblings, a father and their son, and a magical kitten and her first friend in a strange new world...
