I was in my thirtieth week of my pregnancy. Because I have been very busy with work, I delayed my check up with the doctor for two weeks. Andrea kept nagging me to go for my check up and told me no need to worry about work because she and James are there to handle things. "Take the afternoon off Jill." Andrea scolded me. "You also need to think about your babies health." "Yes Ms. Jill. Don't worry about work. Andrea and I will deal with the things here this afternoon." James said. I sighed. "That's not fair. The two of you are ganging up on me." I looked at them scrutinizingly. "The two of you have been getting close lately. Is there something that I do not know of?" I tease. "W-What? No, there isn't something going on." Andrea blushed red. "You are just imagining things Ms. Jill." James was smiling awkwardly. I look at them curiously. I said raising my hand in defeat. "I also think that my doctor's check up has been long overdue." "That's great." Andrea clasped her hands. "Let me call Troy to let him know." I said while getting my phone on my desk. "Okay. We will be getting our lunch in the cafeteria. How about you?" Andrea asked. "I'll be right behind you." I said while pressing speed dial 1. After just a few rings I hear the voice of my angel. "Hello love." Troy answered. "Have you eaten lunch yet?" "Hi love. Not yet, but I will after calling you." I replied. "Oh okay. What's up?" Troy asked. "I will have this afternoon off to go to the doctor for my monthly check up." I said. "Actually, it has been two weeks overdue." "Oh okay. Wait for a second." Troy said. "What's my schedule this afternoon." I hear him murmur to his assistant. But I wasn't able to hear the answer. "Okay, thanks." "Hello love." Troy said. "Yes love?" I replied. "I can accompany you this afternoon. I will pick you up after an hour." Troy said. "Oh okay. Thanks love." I replied. I felt my heart squeeze with happiness. I was waiting for Troy in the building's driveway after an hour has passed. I haven't waited long when I saw the car approaching. They stopped in front of me. The rear passenger door opened and Troy emerged from it. "Hi love." Troy greeted me and gave me a peck on the cheek. "Hi." I gave him a warm smile. Troy was wearing his business suit. Today he was wearing the suit I have prepared for him this morning. A white suit and pants with black inner shirt and white tie. He was looking so handsome. "Let's go." Troy offered his hand. "Okay." I said and Troy ushered me inside the car. What I didn't notice was someone from the vicinity was watching us with watchful eyes. *** The ride was not long and we arrived in the hospital. "Careful." Troy helped me out of the car. "Thanks." I said. Troy smiled at me lovingly. We walked inside the entrance of the hospital. I can feel that the crowd around us were staring while we are walking. I started to here murmuring. "Hey look, isn't that the famous fashion designer Queenie Versales?" "She was just married early this year." "Oh is that her husband? He looks so handsome." "I know right. They look very good together." "Oh my she's pregnant too." "I'm sure their baby will be as good looking as them." "I miss her designs. I wish she will have another collection." "I doubt that she will have a new collection this year. As you see she will be giving birth soon." I hear such positive feedback around me that I felt happy. Not long the elevator came and we entered. "I also miss designing." I whispered. "After you give birth and if your company has come back from it's fall then why not start designing again." Troy smiled. "That would be great." I said. "I just hope all will be smooth sailing from here." After a while we arrive at the doctor's clinic. "Mr. and Mrs. Versales, the doctor is inside waiting for you." The secretary said. Good thing I have called prior to coming here. At least I was first in line. There wasn't anyone here yet. Troy and I entered the room together. "Good afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Versales." The doctor greeted. "Good afternoon doctor." Troy and I replied in unison. "Well this check up is past overdue." The doctor scolded me. "Sorry doctor. I was just busy with work lately." I said guiltily. "Well we can't argue on that now, can we?" The doctor sighed. "Well we can do an ultrasound to check the babies genders. Would you like to know? Or would you want for it to be a surprise when they are born?" I look at Troy with amazed eyes. He looked at me and smiled. He knew very well what I was thinking. "We would like to know the genders of the twins doctor." Troy answered.
