Troy and I arrive at my father's estate. When we were driving towards the mansion, my father was already at the entrance waving at us. Troy stopped on the drive way and I exited the car. "Daddy." I waved at him while walking towards him. "Hi baby girl." My father greeted back. I gave him a peck on his cheek. "How are you?" He asked. "I'm doing good. And the babies are doing fine as well." I replied and smiled. "Goor morning father." Troy walked towards us and shook father's hand. "Good morning my boy. You're looking fresh today." Father complimented him. "Well a huge burden was lifted from my shoulder, so I guess its showing." Troy gave a bright smile. "That explains haha." Father laughed. "I'm just happy that the two of you are having peaceful days. I wish this will last forever." "Thank you father." Troy said. Then I realized that father was standing beside a suitcase. "Daddy, are you going somewhere?" I asked. "Oh that. Haha well, when Troy called me earlier he said that the two of you would visit. Then I thought why not go to our rest house by the sea. The summer just started and it will be best for you to have a rest at least." Father explained. "The rest house by the Sunset Beach?" I asked. "Yes. I have called the caretaker a while ago and they will be expecting us." Father said. "Let's have an overnight stay." "But I didn't arrange any clothes." I said abruptly. "Don't worry love, nanny Sally has packed up a few things for us overnight." Troy smiled at me. I looked at him in surprise. I didn't expect that our visit to father will be an overnight stay at the rest house by Sunset Beach. "Let's go." Father said. "It will be at least two hours drive." "Of course." Troy agreed. "Come." He guided me to our car. "See you there daddy." I said to him while he was about to enter his car. "Okay. Have a safe drive Troy. See you there baby girl." Father said then climbed in the rear passenger seat. Troy and I as well entered our car. He started the engine and drove out. "Okay, spill it." I looked at Troy teasingly. "I am sure you still have some surprises." "Haha your really know me love." Troy laughed. "I also called our close friends to have a nice overnight by the beach." "Our close friends?" I asked. "Yes." Troy said. "Teena and Gerald. Andrea and James. And also Shawn." He enumerated. "Really?!" I asked excitedly. "Then I am sure we will have a good time." "Of course we will have a good time." Troy agreed. "We will also have a barbecue tonight." "Oh my, barbecue?" I asked. "Yup. With veggies also." Troy said. "With corn?" I asked excitedly. "Yes, also corn." Troy smiled while looking at the road. "I can't wait." I said. I can feel my mouth water just by imagining the barbecue meat, veggies and corn. "I know you'll like it." Troy exclaimed. "Thanks Troy." I smiled. "Anything for you love." Troy reached for my hand on my lap and pulled it unto his lips. He pressed the back of my hand on his lips and kissed it. This made my heart flutter. Troy has always made me feel loved and happy. *** After a two-hour drive we reach our old rest house. I exit the car and I smell the salty breeze from the the beach. A smile crept on my face. I look at the old rest house. It has been maintained pretty nicely. The garden in the front is tended beautifully. Red and pink roses are in bloom. I haven't been here since mother died. This place is full of memories of us as a family. I remember when I was still a child, we would always have a weekend stay here once every month. "Jillian!" An elderly woman was walking towards me. "Oh my, you really look like your mother." "Aunty Janet?" I asked. Aunty Janet was father's cousin. She is an old maid and never had met her soul mate. I haven't seen her since I was a teenager. "Yes, it's me." Aunty Janet replied. "Julian let me stay here in your rest house as a caretaker." She gave me a hug. "It's good to see you again aunty." I said. I can hear a sob from her. "Are you crying?" I asked. I looked at her and she was wiping away her tears. "I'm just so happy to see you." Aunty Janet said. "When they said you have died, I really cried a river. I can't believe that a sweet girl like you would have such a fate. I am just so happy that you're alive." "Don't cry aunty." I comforted her. "I'm here alive and well. And after a few weeks you will have a grand niece and nephew." I smiled. "Oh yes. I have heard from Julian." Aunty Janet smiled widely. "I can't believe you're carrying twins. Well we have twin genes in the family." "Really?" I asked. "Yes. I will tell you all about it later. Why don't you and your husband come in. Your father is already inside." Aunty Janet said. "Oh yes. I almost forgot to introduce my husband." I smiled. "Troy this is aunty Janet, daddy's cousin. Aunty Janet this is Troy my husband." "Nice to meet you Ms. Janet." Troy gave her a smile and shook her hand. "You can call me aunty as well, hehe." Aunty Janet giggled. "Oh my Jill, you really know how to pick your man. He looks so handsome and dashing." "I know right." I giggled as well. Troy looked a little shy. "Come in. Let the maids carry your luggage to your room." Aunty Janet said. "Lunch is waiting in the dining room. I cooked your favorite prawns in tamarind soup." "Really?!" I asked excitedly. "I can't wait. Let's go love." I pulled Troy towards the dining room. "Okay, okay. Hold your horses." Troy chuckled.
