"Please just call me Adrian." He said to me with a smile.
"Um okay." I said a little uneasy. He was still holding my hand.
"Thank you for complimenting my 'wife' Adrian." Troy said with a cold voice. He takes my hand away from Adrian and rubs it gently without letting other guests see it.
Adrian just smiled at Troy.
"Oh yes. I hope you like the gift I prepared." Adrian said. "I personally searched for it just for the two of you." He smirked. I don't know but I felt that his words had a hidden meaning. His smirk sent me shivers.
By that time a beautiful woman was walking towards us. She was a tall slender woman. Her walk was elegant and sophisticated. She has long strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes. She has similar features as mine except that my hair was of lighter color similar to the sun and my eyes was of lighter blue shade as the sky.
'She seems familiar.' I thought to myself.
"Angeline?!" I hear Troy say.
'Yes I remember now.' I thought. She was Angeline Bentley. She was a rising teen top model in the past. But when her career was at it's peek she just vanished.
"You know her?" I asked Troy. I look at him and he was wearing a shocked expression. It looks like he knows Angeline personally.
"Oh you know Ms. Angeline." Adrian said. "She is my date tonight. Angeline say hello to the newly weds." Adrian put his arms around her waist and pulled her close to him.
Angeline felt awkward and was silently looking on the floor. I see Adrian press her hand. Angeline abruptly look up at us.
"Congratulations on your wedding." Angeline gave us a forced smile. "It's good to see you again Troy." Her smile warmed up look at him.
My heart clenched uneasily. Am I feeling jealous?
"Oh I remember. Didn't Troy and Angeline had a rumor you dated in the past?" Adrian said teasingly. "That was when Angeline was still a top model."
Troy composed himself. He pulled me much closer to him like he was letting the whole world know that I am his now.
"It was all on the past. I was young and naive back then." Troy said with a smile.
"Ah yes I remember the rumors about you on your youth. You were a playboy back then. Changing girlfriends like it was changing clothes. Ah youth. How much I miss it, don't you?" Adrian was joking but I can feel the edge of his voice. I was beginning to get irritated.
"That was a long time ago. Now I have only one girl and I intend to keep it that way for the rest of my life." Troy said while planting a kiss on my forehead.
"Such cute lovebirds. I hope that is what as you say." Adrian said mockingly. "Well I won't hold you here. You need to greet other guests."
Troy and I nodded. He took a last look at Angeline and we left. Troy was holding my hands tightly and pulled me away from them.
