"Hehehe where can you run now boy? You're surrounded." mock Fatso as he make a gesture to his allies.
Receiving his command, his allies move two steps forward, pressuring me by making their encirclement smaller.
He's right there's no where to run, at my back is a big chasm with no visible bottom and in front of me is about thirty people with average status of 40 on Str, Vit, and/or Agi, At least the ones I can scan.
"Just tell me where did you hide the bag and I might just let you live." Fatso said then he and his men start to laugh mockingly.
I snort at what he said, after all he will kill me even if I told him what he wants and there's also no way I would tell them about my inventory.
Raising my sword and dagger, I challenge them. "Make me."
"Well your loss boy." He shrugged then roared, "men, get him!"
The men cheer then charge at me, I won't have any room to maneuver if I stay by the edge so I charge at them also.
How did it come to this? Oh yeah, it all started 3 hours ago...

"To glory!" Shouting that I charge in excitedly.
A couple steps inside the cave I suddenly felt something stopping my feet and my body went flying from the momentum and fell face first to the ground.

Hearing the sound of stone being kicked i quickly get to my feet and readies my stance to whatever is behind me.
Scanning the environment I could see the thin damned tripwire but I couldn't see anything else in the cave, I checked my map and it also shows no life sign other than me.
One thing that changed tho, the map doesn't show everything like before but just the mouth of the cave till where I stand now with everything else as black unexplored area, neat.
Taking what just happened as my imagination I continued onward. Not much of note happen afterwards, just collecting couple kinds of mushrooms, some glowing moss and normal ones, Mana rich herbs, and mowing down some goblins and spiders. Oh yeah they generate more exp and RP so I'm happy about finding a farming location.
After around an hour of walking the cave branches into two paths, after thinking for a while I took the right path I mean I could always comes back later right and heck I haven't found any trap other than the tripwire.
Down the path I reached a room with some camps and a fire pit, seems like it's the goblin camps. Searching around all things of value I found are 1 gold 27 silver and 13 copper coins, as well as three basket of apples, two jars of dried meat, three barrel of fresh water and an iron key.
After I store everything in inventory, except the key, some goblins comes into the room and become my exp. Something is wrong though, these goblins were already in a bad condition I mean they are full of cuts and one even have arrow sticking out it's butt.
Opening my map, my suspicion is confirmed. Outside of the room there are seven orange dots and on the far edge of my map, right on the branching, there are at least forty other orange dots maybe more. They aren't moving, means they are waiting for me to come out.
I summon a backpack a head larger than me then put the bag by waist inside and take a potion belt out as well as three healing potions, two flash vial, and one smoke vial, filling all that the belt can fit before putting the backpack back to inventory.
Flattering myself by the room entrance I take a peek at my opponent, as expected the orange dots are people. From their outfits I conclude them as bandits and scan them.

I can take those two but i don't know about the other five and the most dangerous thing is the unknown.
I sheath my dagger and take one flash vial, pour Mana in it and throw it out the room. The moment screams and bright light comes from outside I charge out with both weapons.
One strong slash, a head roll off, one dagger strike, one neck slit through, one sword thrust, one heart pierced. After three brought down by me two of them regain some of their eyesight, I throw my dagger to the one at the back and it pierced his temple then I charge at the other one. He hack down with his axe but it's trajectory is off so I easily evade it, cut his arm then chop his head off.
From the corner of my eye, I see one person nocking his bow and another rushing towards me. I prepare to confront the man in front of me as he raise his dagger but suddenly he disappear, revealing the arrow flying behind him.
I jump to the side to avoid it but the man suddenly reappear and thrust at me. In panic I cast wind cutter and surprisingly it works and cut the man's arms off.
Once my feet touch the ground I stomp forward and silence his painful scream by piercing his heart. When I look for the archer he is already run far ahead.
Deciding it's too late to run after him, i start looting the bodies then burn them after wards. As their bodies burn I keep telling myself this is necessary, if I don't kill them they'll just hurt someone else someday.
Shaking my head, I start walking out while thinking about the magic from before. At that time all that's in my mind was pulling the nearby air, forming and molding it as a sharp blade then launches it. If my speculation is correct then that means why I always fail is because before I only give command and after product but never include the process of making it.
"There he is! Men, kill him!"
That shout brought me out of my thought, seems like I walked out to them while I was thinking.
I quickly check my map as I pull the smoke vial and pour Mana in it. By the entrance there are even more orange dots, the number is too much for me to fight.
Throwing the vial, it burst to a thick cloud of smokes. Running inside I hack, cut, and slash with both dagger and sword at anyone nearby.
"Here, I found him!"
"Kill the bastard!"
"Why are you attacking me, he's over there!"
Within the cloud some of them seems to be attacking each other due to the limited vision but I could accurately find my way to the other branch of the cave. If what Mr. Maharashtra said is true, then there would be a portal after the boss room and it would be my only ticket out of here.
"Look over there, he's trying to find the boss room!" Shout someone from the back, seems like the smoke dissipating already.
I keep running along the cavern, evading any monsters I encounter and turning at every branching I get. After a while I felt a cold breeze.
'breeze? In a cavern? Is it another exit?'
Running based on that though I take a turn at a branching where the breeze come from, it was a straight run but when I found the source of the breeze it was nothing but a deep dark chasm.
"Got you now!" Said someone from behind me, along with many rushing footsteps.

"Hey have you heard? Someone said the black wind bandit group start operating near hear." (man A)
"Black wind bandit group? Aren't they supposed to be far on the north?" (Man B)
"That's true, but it seems they are expanding their field of operations southward." (Man A)
"Yeah I heard that too, my brother is with the army scouts and he said his group spotted a group of more than five hundred bandits with their banner." (Man C)
"Well even if they expand south it won't affect our lives much within the city, more importantly have you seen the new wench at..." (Man B)

Me and my old friend Maharashtra are leisurely drinking at the local tavern while we wait for Vaine, but it's already late and he's not back yet.
The dungeon he went to is a low rank dungeon that's been used to train young adults and he should have returned hours ago.
"Leo relax, the brat probably got lost or something. If damn kid not back by tomorrow then we'll look for him, just enjoy your drink for now." Maharashtra said nonchalantly before chugging his drink.
"You are right old friend I should not be too worry about the child, he is one lucky star." I said before drinking my own beverage.
"Of course I'm right, besides a small problem would only make that brat grow accustomed to killing."
Hearing what he said I stop my glass midway. Grow accustomed to killing? Maharashtra doesn't use the term "kill" for monsters.
"Maharashtra what do you mean by that?" I ask, carefully control my tone to be calm.
"It's exactly what I mean old fool, I didn't just sent him to test him. I have done some research ya see." He said while grinning widely.

"It's exactly what I mean, bad bad people are there to harvest." After he said that he started laughing.
I quickly throw some money on the counter and rush out of the tavern. Cold sweat broke down my face as I pray, let me make it in time.

My dominant hand is broken, my left shoulder and arm have arrows sticking on it, halve of my back is black from burn wounds and my whole body is bleeding from cuts.
This is it, there is no way out, I couldn't kill even one of them and the cuts I gave them are shallow, there is just too many of them and their number already pass fifty.
'if I can't get out, then I'll at least take one of you with me.'
With the thought I force myself to get up and raise my weapons once more.
"Hoho still planning to die eh, that's fine we'll just turn this place around to find it. Boys, you know what to do." He said then gesture his hand forward.
The couple of mages in their group start casting a spell and the shield bearers make a line in front of me.
I cast some wind blades and launches them as I charge forward but it doesn't seem to affect their shields by much. I slam myself to the shield ahead of me and the holder stagger back a bit, I thought I have a chance but as I raise my sword to slash at the companion by his side the other one kick me back.
The kick send me back to my previous position by the edge, I was about to charge once again but a hot and bright flame hit me first, the flame explode and send me flying.
Moments later I feel a sense of weightlessness as everything ground move higher... No... the ground doesn't move, I'm falling...
I kept falling and falling until the ceiling is no more, I kept falling and falling until I lost my sight, I kept falling until I see the ground, then I fall no more.

A shield bashed square at my chest and I staggered back a couple steps before falling to one knee and cough blood, I think my rib cage is broken. "I'll give you one more chance kid, tell us where you hide the item bag and maybe we'll let you go with only missing one arm and leg." After fatty said that his men, even injured ones started laughing. My dominant hand is broken, my left shoulder and arm have arrows sticking on it, halve of my back is black from burn wounds and my whole body is bleeding from cuts. This is it, there is no way out, I couldn't kill even one of them and the cuts I gave them are shallow, there is just too many of them and their number already pass fifty. 'if I can't get out, then I'll at least take one of you with me.' With the thought I force myself to get up and raise my weapons once more. "Hoho still planning to die eh, that's fine we'll just turn this place around to find it. Boys, you know what to do." He said then gesture his hand forward. The couple of mages in their group start casting a spell and the shield bearers make a line in front of me. I cast some wind blades and launches them as I charge forward but it doesn't seem to affect their shields by much. I slam myself to the shield ahead of me and the holder stagger back a bit, I thought I have a chance but as I raise my sword to slash at the companion by his side the other one kick me back. The kick send me back to my previous position by the edge, I was about to charge once again but a hot and bright flame hit me first, the flame explode and send me flying. Moments later I feel a sense of weightlessness as everything ground move higher... No... the ground doesn't move, I'm falling... I kept falling and falling until the ceiling is no more, I kept falling and falling until I lost my sight, I kept falling until I see the ground, then I fall no more.
