"How long are we going to travel to the enemy's camp, teacher?"

"We are going to ambush them. Look at the map and you will understand," said Tai Zi as he passed Amon a small map.

The Barbarian Bandits' base was located at five-hour distance with mounts on the north side of the island.

Seeing that they would be travelling for five more hours, Amon began to gather energy and temper his body by using the [Everburn Flame Mantra]'s breathing technique.

On the scorching island, the fire energy was dense and in a big amount of quantity. There was no end to it. As Amon began practising, there was not a very big increase in his cultivation progress but his body's power was increasing at a good margin.

His body was sweaty and shiny under his robes, his muscles were twitching while his bones and tendons made very quiet sounds as if someone was producing flour by using two stones to make the wheat in its final form.

The amount of five hours time passed fast for Amon who didn't open his eyes even once. His body was now sweaty and would've been smelly, but be was outside meaning the smell could hardly be sensed.

Opening his eyes he took a small calabash from the horse's saddle and poured it on himself. This resulted in his muscles becoming clearly visible and underlined by his robe.

"Amon we have just arrived. Charging from here we would be able to reach their settlement in the span of three minutes of fast riding. The enemies outnumber us four to one but we have the advantage thus everything will be okay if you're careful." informed Tai Zi as he pointed at the big settlement ahead of them.

The teachers were giving instructions and etcetera for like 20 minutes which were also the rest for the students before a bigger strain than the riding would be applied to them - the strain of battle.

In battles one wrong move and you're dead. The mind and the body will have to be put in work to their maximum capacity.

Amon removed the locked Silver Sting from his back and released it in its full form. Its weight was around 85 kilograms but it was very light for Amon who had just passed a session of light body tempering you could say.

Amon adjusted Silver Sting's weight to its maximum which was 115 kilograms.

He was ready, in line. All he was waiting for were the commands to charge.

"Ready!... Charge!"

Urging his mount, Amon was quickly in the front line, probably even the one who would first jump into the battle.

He had his reasons. The passion in battle and the fact that there are treasures in the base were his reasons. At the end who was Amon? Just a boy who recently gained his freedom from slavery.

Amon who was all in red, except his spear was seated on his magical mount - a dark horse at the initial stage. Beasts had the same rankings as humans do.

The defence line of the camp consisted of loosely armed buff barbarians. This view got closer and closer to Amon and he soon crashed in this defence line.

'Neighhh...Argh..'

Amon went through a barbarian after which he jumped from his horse with a spear in hand. The sound of battle sounded behind him as he waved his spear agilely. Stabbing or slashing every barbarian that came close to him.

All that could be seen in Amon's hands was a straight line with silver light on its end which flashed across his hands as he executed his spear technique.

Amon soon found himself covered in blood and bruises in the middle of the camp. These barbarians had raw physical power. One punch or hit with their maces would make so many things flying even if it misses its target.

It was a chaotic situation. Horses going here and there.

Seeing the bandit barbarian coming towards him Amon walked forward. Dodging the left punch by squatting, Amon jumped and fought back with a [Fire Claw] which slashed the throat of the barbarian.

Amon was excited and continued walking ahead. The sounds of battle started to die along the barbarians, exactly when Amon reached a big tent in front of which many people had gathered.

Inside it, a barbarian head was impaled on a spear and treasures were being taken from all over this big tent.

'I probably missed the big stuff...should've kept my horse..' regretted Amon as he was seeing how people were getting out with happy faces.

Among this mess, Amon tried to find something. He was almost alone and had decided to get out but he felt that he had stepped on something.

Looking down he saw a paper which had written on it with purple ink - prototype. Picking it up, Amon saw that there was nothing else written on it. Just as he decided to throw it away, a sunray shined upon him from a hole in the tent.

The page was shined upon too and Amon who was about to throw it away halted his actions. In white, a silhouette could be seen dancing with one short sword. Below the purple written 'Prototype', the words 'Dance of Gan Jiang' in white shiny letters. The silhouette continued to dance while symbols appeared beneath his feet.

'Shit! Treasure!' thought Amon as he immediately hid it in his pocket and ran out. He decided to keep this one for himself if it was useful that is.

Next, he started going around the tents which weren't so damaged and managed to find a bit herbs and magical pills which were of course low ranked. Barely qualifying to be at the low ranked initial stage, those pills could only bring him some merit points.

Finally, he was done and went to the place in which most people were stacked on their mounts. Everything was plundered and they would be coming back in the sect to trade or consume whatever they found. Amon himself was going to try the embryo 'Dance of Gan Jiang' after he unveils more mysteries of this tattered page.

Bandaging his wounds Amon sat on his new mount and closed his eyes to replay all fights he had during this one-sided battle.
