Once the 10-year-old girl saw Li Wei, her eyes widened in surprise. "Ah!" she exclaimed and her grip on the tray weakened, falling out of her small hands.

Li Wei's eyes widened in surprise but she didn't stand still and do nothing, she reacted, quickly extending her hands and catching the tray before it could hit the ground. But even though it didn't hit the ground, part of the soup still spilt out, landing on her arms; the utensils fell to the ground.

Li Wei furrowed her eyebrows as she felt hot soup splash on her arms.

"Ahh!" the little girl shouted out, panic flashed on her face and she hastily ripped a part of her apron which was sewed to her dress and extended it to Li Wei, "I am sorry! Please take it! Please…"

Li Wei placed the wooden tray on the bedside table, took the part of little girl's apron from her hands and cleaned the soup off her arms. But once she did, she saw red marks on her arms, "They better not leave any marks," she thought.

The girl extended the utensils and said once again with a lowered head, "I am sorry."

Li Wei took the utensils and placed them beside the tray. She then moved her eyes to the little girl and saw her looking at the ground.

<Lily, Level 0>

Li Wei sighed inwardly and said, "Are you okay?"

Lily silently nodded before saying in an almost inaudible voice, "I am sorry."

Li Wei smiled, "It's fine. You can raise your head."

Lily obeyed and their eyes met, she blinked her eyes and asked, "Are you really an elf?"

Li Wei nodded, "Yes… you haven't seen an elf before?"

"Mhm," Lily nodded.

"What's your name?"

"My name is Lily."

"And my name is Li Wei but you can just call me big sister."

Lily blinked her eyes and nodded, "Really?"

"Yeah… do you want to keep me company while I eat, Lily?"

The little girl's eyes lit up, "Really?"

Li Wei sat down on the bed and put the tray with the food on her knees, she took the spoon from the table and cleaned it using the piece of the apron she received from Lily. Cleaning it, she took a spoonful of the soup and put it in her mouth, "It's good."

Lily giggled, "You like granny's cooking, big sister?"

Li Wei nodded, "It's very good," she said and Lily giggled again. Li Wei took another spoonful and then said, "Lily, do you have a dream?"

Lily blinked her eyes, "I just want to help granny. What about you, big sister?"

"I can't tell her about my goal…" Li Wei thought and then said, "I wanted to become a hero."

"So you are an adventurer, big sister?"

Li Wei laughed lightly, "I don't really now, I only left my forest a few days ago. But I am guessing, I need to visit the adventurer's guild to become one."

Lily nodded, "Yeah, you are right, big sister. My granny told me that to become an adventurer, one has to register at the guild and to do that you have to be at least 14 years old… so it's a little early for me…"

Li Wei finished eating her soup as Lily's last word fell; she took the fork and a knife, cleaned them using the same apron and looked at the second bowl. Inside she saw a medium sized cutlet and some mashed potatoes. Moving her hands, she separated a small part of a cutlet and before putting it into her mouth, said, "You want to become an adventurer as well don't you, Lily?"

Lily frowned, "No, I want to help granny!"

Li Wei chuckled, "Then do that and don't even think about becoming an adventurer," she said and thought, "Because if you do, you will become my enemy."

Lily nodded, "Mhm."

After Li Wei finished her meal, Lily left her room and Li Wei went to sleep. The night quickly passed and morning came.

Li Wei's eyes opened and she stretched out her limbs, yawning, "Adventurer's guild today but before that, breakfast," she mumbled; then jumped off the bed, walked out of the room and descended to the first floor. Walking down, she saw that it was mostly empty, only the old woman stood at the counter.

Li Wei walked up to the woman and said with a smile, "Good morning!"

<Clara, Level 0>

Clara smiled, "Good morning, do you want to eat breakfast, dear?"

Li Wei nodded, "I would like that… how much is it, the same as yesterday?"

Clara shook her head, "That's fine, dear. As thanks for becoming my cute granddaughter friend, you can eat breakfast, free of charge."

"Thank you."

"Sit down at any table, I will send Lily with the food."

Li Wei nodded and walked up and sat down at the nearest table. A few minutes passed and Lily came with a wooden tray, this time, she didn't drop it. She placed a bowl in front of Li Wei, "Porridge, big sister," she said and placed another bowl on the other side of the table and she sat down herself.

"Are you going to go to adventurer's guild, big sister?"

"Yeah." She took a spoonful into her mouth and thought, "This is delicious as well… come to think of it, I have yet to find something bad tasting."

"Can I come along, big sister?"

"Sure."

"Thank you, big sister," Lily giggled and took a spoonful of porridge herself.

Finishing their meal, they brought their bowls to the counter. "Thank you for the meal, do you mind if I take Lily to the adventurer's guild?"

Clara tilted her head and then smiled once she saw Lily's pleading expression, "Bring her back by dinner."

Lily smiled widely and excitement flashed on her face, "Yay!" she shouted out. Li Wei nodded, "Alright." She turned her eyes to Lily, "Let's go."

"Mhm."

The two walked out of the inn and made their way to the adventurer's guild. Before long, a large building stood before them and on the building, there was a large sign which said.

<Adventurer's Guild>

"Let's go in, Lily,"

"Alright, big sister."

Li Wei pushed the guild doors open and they entered. Walking inside, they both looked around as they both were in the guild for the very first time. The Guildhall was very large and even though it was morning, there were people everywhere they looked. To the left and to the right at the end of the room there were staircases which led to the second floor. In the middle at the end of the room stood a counter at which there were three attendants which were all attractive women in their twenties, dressed in formal attire. In the middle of the room to the left and to the right, there were billboards with posters over them. And just to the left and to the right from the entrance there were some tables and chairs.
