With the immense popularity of the movie, ‘Wasteland’ rapidly conquered the silver screen of the entire globe.

This was a film that simply could not be ignored. It appeared and was being marketed in such a way like never before. All the methods used by the production team were completely deviant, but it turned out to be a massive success. Hence, the movie was able to generate a high number of ticket sales. All these things piqued the interest of the public, and as a consequence, they were eager to find out more about the team behind the movie with every single clue they got.

The ‘professionals’ were trying their best to figure it out while the outsiders were only trying to have some fun.

A blurry photo from the official website of 'Wasteland’ had instantly raised a plethora of entertainment gossip. Many people carefully studied the photo and some of them even carried out research analyses and conclusions about the photo.

“According to the computer analysis of plants being shown in the picture, they are common shrubs in the high latitudes of the northern hemisphere."

“Based on the human figures of several blurry shadows, this photo seems to be taken from the Asian region. This is probably an American Asian settlement or a country from the East Asian region."

“We can eliminate the possibility of Europe and America then. The people in the background are wearing typical East Asian clothing as well. Please correct me if I’m wrong, but I think Asian Americans rarely wear these types of clothes.”

“I think I saw an old man in the background wearing a large white tank top. This kind of scene is just…… It’s just too familiar to me.”

“This photo is obviously taken in China! The old man even had a palm-leaf fan in his hand. He looks just like my father, especially when he takes a walk in the park.”

“Bullsh*t, he’s obviously our favorite long-legged Korean Oppa. Just look at his eyes… He's so handsome.”

“I just can’t understand why some people just like to talk about nonsense. I’m pretty sure everyone in this world knows what a Korean person looks like. They either have a plastic face or a pair of small eyes.”

“According to my research on the film, Victor Hugo is about 1.8 meters tall. Using this as a reference and then building a mathematical model in a sitting position in a photograph, I can conclude that the woman in the photograph is about 1.6 meters in height and relatively busty in size. She looks more mature from judging by her clothes and hairstyle. I personally think that she might be over 25 years old, but 30 years old is a reasonable guess too."

“No way, my boy Victor Hugo is only 18 years old. There’s no way he’ll find a 30-year-old woman as his girlfriend. If that’s really the case, then I can only say that this woman is completely shameless. The man’s career might even be wasted if he really chose to have a relationship with that old lady for the rest of his life.”

“Old lady? Are you guys blind? Don’t you guys notice this lady’s busty figure? She’s just so perfect! Let me tell you something, most of the men in this world will usually fall for this kind of lady.”

The excitement on the internet was probably nothing more than just gossip in the eyes of the public, but for Feng Ruhai, this was an incredible asset. According to the discussion from the internet, the acting remuneration for Zhou Qingfeng had already reached a whopping fifty million U.S. dollars, which was equivalent to three billion yuan! This was indeed an incredible fortune.

Feng Ruhai wanted to get in touch with Zhou Qingfeng once again, but unfortunately, Zhou Qingfeng did not return to Feng Wan’s house. In order to avoid problems, Feng Wan decided to rent another house.

Feng Ruhai wanted to call Feng Wan, but her daughter did not answer any of his phone calls. Hence, he was now as clueless as a dim light bulb.

Other than knowing Zhou Qingfeng’s name, Feng Ruhai actually knew nothing about him. After thinking about it for two to three days, he suddenly remembered the biological and medical books that Zhou Qingfeng looked at.

“Why was that kid reading some professional-level books?” Feng Ruhai felt that everything was very strange. He recalled his thirty-minute conversation with Zhou Qingfeng, and he confirmed that Zhou Qingfeng did indeed understand the content of those books. “He seems to be extremely interested in the biomedical area.”

This kind of professional-level book usually could not be found in public. Ordinary bookstores would not sell these books either, and the library would be the only place where one could find them. At the thought of the library, Feng Ruhai then grabbed the phone he had on hand and dialed a number. “Ming Jue, check something for me immediately. Did a person named Zhou Qingfeng come to you to apply for a library card?”

Feng Ruhai’s tone on the phone was extremely arrogant and bossy. It turned out that there was a woman on the other end of the phone. When the woman said, “I’m busy right now, I’ll check it later,” Feng Ruhai even began to scold her.

The woman on the other end of the phone knew that she had no other choice but to check for him. After a few minutes, she answered, “There’s indeed a man named Zhou Qingfeng who came to register a library card about two days ago. For the past two days, he arrived at the library early in the morning and he only leaves when it's late at night. But there’s something strange thing about him — he’s always wearing a pair of sunglasses.”

“Is he reading some biomedical books?” Feng Ruhai was overjoyed when he found out that Zhou Qingfeng was indeed in the city library.

“I’m not sure about this,” said the woman.

“Go and check it for me then.” Feng Ruhai ordered immediately.

“But the library is so big, and I really don’t know where he is… Also, I’m very busy right now. My supervisor has just given me plenty of tasks to work on.” The woman felt embarrassed.

“Aren’t you just arranging those broken books every single day? What kind of f*cking tasks are those? Find me this guy right away and don’t attract any further attention when you find him. I could possibly make a lot of fortune out of this guy.”

“Old Feng, why do you still care about something like money or power? You’re already in your sixties…….”

“Stop talking nonsense. When I ask you to do something, you just go and do it straight away. I’ll head to your place now, and if you can’t find him when I arrive, you’ll be in big trouble.”

The woman felt aggrieved when being roared at by someone through the phone. She had no other choice but to put down her work and find the man with the sunglasses throughout the entire library.

Meanwhile, Zhou Qingfeng was hiding in a corner of the library while reading books. He even had several notes about biological and medical contents written on his hand. He could read a book at the speed of ten lines per second. He tried his best to understand the content if he could. Otherwise, he would just memorize it and wait until he had mastered more knowledge before coming back to it again.

In the past two to three days, the efficiency of Zhou Qingfeng’s study was almost equivalent to a person’s hard work in a year or two. He had already begun to move forward with some more profound content. All of a sudden, he felt a shadow approaching him. He looked up and realized that a friendly woman was standing in front of him.

The woman seemed to be in her thirties or forties. She had round face, short hair, and she was wearing old-fashioned black-rimmed glasses, as well as a floral shirt with black pants. She nodded at Zhou Qingfeng when the latter lifted his head and looked at her.

“Aunty, is there something I can help you with?” Zhou Qingfeng asked, standing up.

The woman smiled, shook her head, and said, “I’m fine. I’m here only because my husband asked me to come and find you.”

“And your husband is……?”

As soon as the voice faded, hurried footsteps could be heard from a close distance. Feng Ruhai suddenly appeared in front of Zhou Qingfeng and said with a big laugh, “Hi, little Zhou. If it weren’t for Aunty Li, I would have never known that you were actually so diligent and hardworking.

Are you still reading books about biology? Your hobby is truly unique… Have you faced any difficulties in the process of learning? All these books require a certain level of talent, and many top students can’t even understand it. Fortunately, this is exactly what I’m good at. After all, I’m a biology and medicine professor! Come, let us start with ‘An Introduction to Biology……”

“Thanks, Uncle Feng, but I’ve already finished reading ‘An Introduction to Biology’.

“As expected, you’re extremely talented… Well done! But you shouldn't be too proud of it. Let us start with ‘Molecular Biology’ then.”

“Thanks, Uncle Feng, but I’ve already finished reading ‘Molecular Biology’ too.”

“Wow, that’s quick! You are indeed exceptional! However, the profoundness of biology is not something that the average person can learn in a day or two, and there are still genetic research studies that are currently impossible for us to understand.”

“Uncle Feng, you have a book about ‘Genomics’ in your hand. It’s actually different from ‘Genetics’.”

“‘Genomics’ and ‘Genetics’ are the exact same thing. After all, both have a lot of commonalities.”

"Uncle Feng, your statement is somewhat biased. Genomics and genetics are two different concepts. Please forgive me for not agreeing with your point of view."

Feng Ruhai instantly blushed at the unexpected offense. He cursed in silence. Kid, do you even understand the concept of respecting the elderly? I’ve been painstakingly looking for you. I even put down my task and rushed over here the second I discovered your whereabouts. Can’t you just stop humiliating me?
