"How can you expect me to help you set up a business for nothing in return?" Fletcher asked with an utterly exasperated expression; this youth was truly too strange.

"I said full ownership but not total profits. I am willing to split the profits 35-55 between yourself and me respectively, also if you decide to bring anyone in on the business, they will have to sign a soul contract saying they won't leak any of the ongoings in the office and their percentage will come from your 35 and not my 55.

The remaining 10 per cent will go into an account in my name as funds for my future endeavours which if you aid in starting you will have a share in the profits as well which is likely as I am severely limited by my age. Not many people are as openminded as you Mr Fletcher and are unwilling to do business with someone so young." James set down his requests straight away telling Fletcher precisely what he needed to know.

"I would like the percentage to be lowered to 31-54 to allow me to bring in an investor with the 5 per cent if I need to if I don't bring anyone in then the shares will be reallocated in the original ratio you stated." Mr Fletcher would take any small benefits he could to maximise his profit from the business, a businessman at heart he would never be on the losing side of a deal.

"I'm fine with that provided you don't bring in someone to take the extra per cent from me and funnel it back to you." Mr Fletcher felt the temperature drop in the room by a few degrees and realised he shouldn't have any hopes of taking small advantages in front of this attentive youth; his plans would be seen through within seconds.

James gave off a small smile and decided to check the menu for what dishes they had while he left Fletcher to squirm in the uncomfortable silence.

[Businessman Skill Tree Unlocked]

[Negotiator Skill Tree Unlocked]

'System do any of these dishes match anything from Earth?'

[System can confirm the 6th item down on the left column has 95% similarity to a cheeseburger with potato wedges]

'I guess it will do for now I don't want to get anything too strange and ending up refusing to eat it, that would be impolite and a waste of a free high-class meal, although how high class can a burger and chips be?'

"How do you order the food in this restaurant I don't see anything here to order with?" James looked around and couldn't see anything he could use to order.

Fletcher leant forward and placed his PTM on the table in a small recess, and after it slid into the perfect fitting space, a small control panel appeared on the table to allow you to place an order, after which Fletcher pressed a few buttons with clear experience and set the orders for the two of them.

When the food arrived, James realised the quality really wasn't that amazing and was worse compared to any restaurant you could find back on Earth, but after thinking he realised that Earth had much more time to evolve cooking into art so the food would naturally be worlds ahead of Alner.

The meat tasted a bit more gamey than beef as well and upon asking he found out that the chefs would take whatever animal meat they had to mince and turn into the patties for the burgers. This was a common thing across the whole of Angaria as there weren't very stable sources of animal meat due to the terrain around the city being quite harsh and demanding to cultivate crops in for the feed.

It seemed this world was genuinely fixated on this magic circuitry and didn't focus on anything else. As long as there was enough food to stay alive, the higher-ups in society didn't care, so they didn't build any infrastructure in the city leaving the lower class to fend for themselves and live off the scraps from the inner city.

It turned out that the success of the Sun and the Stars was due to it having its own team of experienced hunters who could keep the restaurant stocked.
