Angelize submitted her form to the teacher. Sarah was very sad to hear that she wouldn't be pairing with her. Specially after she became best friends with her, Sarah was looking forward to spend time with Angelize. Angelize only apologized to her.
What could Angelize do? The diary was very crucial to her. And Christain wasn't joking when he said that he would burn it. And today was the last date. If she didn't write his name in the form before the end of the day, he would burn it. Only he knew where it was.
She couldn't use violent means against him because of his status anyway.
And that way she could keep a watch on him. He was suspicious of her after all.
Angelize had thought a lot before coming to that conclusion.
So she decided to go by his rules before getting her hands on her diary. Then later she will give him a taste of consequences of messing with her.
In the end Sarah found someone to pair up with. Sarah grades were above average so someone with low grades was willing to pair up with her despite her unimpressive family background.
Pairing up was a good opportunity to form deep links.
Once the list was uploaded on website, first everyone checked in to find with whom Christain Blade paired up. Many had put his name in their form. So naturally they were curious that would be the lucky person?

Even the teachers were surprised and they individually advised Christain to change his partner before the list was uploaded. After all college rested a lot of hopes on him and they couldn't bear to see his downfall just because of low-grade commoner.

In the end, they all had to bow in front of his adamancy.
The subsequent day when Angelize entered her class, she had to suffer a lot of greetings and waves.
Everyone who used to look at her with disdain was meeting her with flattering smiles and wagging tails- all in order to win a chance to befriend Christain.
"Angelize I don't blame you for not choosing me", Sarah said once she learned it, "But why didn't you tell me before that you were going to pair up with Christain?"
"You didn't ask"
"But I asked you and you said that it was someone who would regret his decision for the rest of his life"
"Exactly. He will regret it", Angelize laughed viciously, "and will regret it a lot"
"What are you planning to do?", Sarah made a face and asked in a timorous voice after catching a diabolic smile unfolding across Angelize face.
"Just you watch"
A hostile glint sparkled in her eyes.
Sarah shuddered. She had a bad feeling about it. It was like the look she had the day she whacked Zayden.
"Angelize just don't do anything stupid", Sarah berated, "You have been given such a good opportunity to improve your grades. Just tagging along Christain would boost your grades. Everyone is so envious of you. Not to mention that if Christain grades fall because of you, his fan club would kill you"
Angelize cracked up.
"Who said that making his grades fall is the only way to make him regret his decision"
Well, there were definitely other ways to make him regret his decision. A lot of other ways. But first she'll have to erase his suspicion from her. Then she would move to next part of her plan.

"I admit she has good looks what about grades? I heard that she is not even in the first fifty. With such poor grades she would drag down our Christain"

Angelize didn't care to listen to the jabber of his fans.

Her voice lacked any kind of humbleness and flattery. His fans were enraged to see someone talking to their idol in such an inhospitable manner.

Angelize gave him a death stare.
Her look alone could alone subdue a demon.
But the look on her face merely creased him up. Christain could put a demon in shade. He was the devil himself.
"Fine", he said once her glare turned increasingly menacing,"I keep my word"
A clueless kitten who didn't know what he was getting himself into. But in some way he was different from Zayden. He was only doing it for his curiosity. So Angelize didn't feel any need of using harsh measures against him. She'll just have to make him realize that whatever he is suspecting about her is wrong and he'll let her be in peace.
And about avenging herself, she was aware that he knew about her martial skills a little so he would be carefull. But about her limitless prowess in computer skills, he had no idea.
He took out a diary and waved it to her. She abruptly stepped forward to snatch it but he pulled away his hand.

"It was not a part of our bargain..."
"We have to do projects together. First project is due in fifteen days. We must keep in contact so we'll be exchanging numbers sooner or later"
Angelize eyebrows joined together but thought what he said was logical and gave her number.
The girls in his fan club were even more jealous now. They couldn't help glaring at her but had to keep their snippy remarks to themselves because no matter what the girl paired up with their idol and he chose her himself so they had to be in good terms with her.
