Next day, on Sunday, when Angelize was on her way to her apartment, she could vaguely sense someone following her through the stairs.

It couldn't be Big Boss men, she thought. Because they were always cautious and maintained a distance of at least one kilometer when they followed her. After sensing them for almost a month she was familiar with their course of action.

And after messing with Carter family, she had to stay at high alert until their secrets were exposed to world by Eric Davidson and they were devastated.

After all Carter family indeed held great power and her position was vulnerable before next Friday.

So when the corridor was empty, she stopped, abruptly whirled, took out her dagger and dashed forward. Before her eyes could even recognize that person, she already had him pressed against the wall with the sharp edge of her dagger pressed against his throat.

Her reflexes were inhumanly fast at their extreme.

She was about to cut when...

"You?", her eyes recognized the person as she stepped back and looked at him a little taken aback.

Christin fell down on his knees and gasped for air.

That girl had just given him a heart attack. He looked at her with wide eyes.

"Y-Yo-You what are you!", he blurted between his gasps.

That speed! That speed was impossible for anything mortal!

His heart had just jumped out into his throat. That shock had sent his heart to hyper state.

Angelize frowned as she put her dagger back into her dress.

"What are you doing here?'

It took a lot of time for Christin to stabilize his leaping heart. He weakly stood on his feet with the support of the wall.

"I was just here to discuss some additional details of assignment!", Christin uttered like a child who had been wrongly accused of eating chocolates.

But actually that was not the truth.

He didn't know why but he was feeling very anxious. He knew that Zayden was up to something when the men he had appointed to monitor him reported that Zayden was seen with dozens of hooligans. And recently they reported that there was a lot of chaos at Carter family residence and a complete lockdown. No one was allowed to go inside or outside.

Something was wrong.

So he was subconsciously worried for the safety of Angelize.

And he couldn't stop himself from coming here and checking on her to find whether she was fine or not.

Of course he justified that saying to himself that he was doing it for the sake of his love to solve the mystery. How could he solve the mystery if something was to happen to her before?

"We could do that in college"

"Didn't you say that you don't want to be seen with me in the college?"

Angelize did say that.

"Alright"

"Alright! Its fine just like that? What about the scare you just gave me girl!", Christin was still triggered due to the previous scare and his heart was thumping so he exclaimed exaggeratedly.

Angelize crossed her arms in front of her and smiled at him.

"Wasn't you the one stalking me since first floor?"

Christin chocked. He was embarrassed. He indeed had seen her on the first floor and he had walked all the way behind her discreetly.

Blame his prying nature!

But he didn't know that she had already sensed him. After all she acted so casual as if she had no idea if someone was following her.

But it was still very cruel of her to scare him like that!

"So what?", he said,"Does that mean you take out a God forsaken dagger and scare the sh*t out of that person!"

Angelize couldn't help but laugh at his childish behaviour.

Once her melodious laughter fell on Christin ears, he couldn't stop himself from exclaiming further.

"Now are you laughing? Laughing? What if I had a heart attack! What if I died of a heart attack! Could you be held responsible for killing me!"

"You're perfectly alive"

Indeed a lot better than all the other people who ever had her dagger at their throats.

Angelize took him to her apartment. Once there, Christin asked sensing the melancholy and loneliness of the apartment.

"Do you live alone? Why don't you stay at college dorm?"

"Its too noisy there", she replied sparing the use of words as she brought her tablet.

A faint smile was still there on her lips as she still remembered the virus Christin had put in it.

Christin was sitting on the couch and realized that they both were alone in the small apartment.

"You live alone. Your family? They are not here?"

"They live in Capital", she replied concisely as she made her way to the couch and opened the files on her tablet.

Christin looked at the indecipherable girl who was not willing to open herself to anyone. Every time he had looked at her without her hoodie, she looked so tempting that one couldn't look away at his will.

And only one thought coursed through his mind.

Mysterious.

Indeed very very mysterious.

And strangely very fascinating.

While those two not very normal college students were busy preparing for their monthly assignment, there was a huge commotion rising in Carter family residence.
