Melissa walked back to the direction that she came from and got into her own car.
She sighed as she rummaged her bag for her cell phone. When she found it, she immediately dialed a phone number.
"Did you get it?" She asked as soon as her call was picked up.
"Yes, ma'am. What do you want me to do with it?"
"What else? My uncle had already started shaming them online what's one more article?! Post that along with the write up that we prepared." She ended the call in a huff. She knew that it was a long shot but at that moment, she no longer cared anymore.
Because of the tax evasion case, a lot of shareholders had pulled their money very quickly. Clients have cancelled their transactions and projects have been halted, no one wanted to be associated with Qin Corporation any longer. Her family's business was already dying and her name's already gotten involved in the recent scandal. She thought that she could use that to make people pity her and put more pressure on Samantha and Daniel's relationship.

In the picture, Melissa was crying and holding onto Daniel's arm. She looked very pitiful because of her simple outfit and tear-stained face, like a wife who was begging her husband not to leave her.

"Ah! Your smile is so bright! What did you just post?" Becca asked but Samantha just shrugged, her face was now looking gleeful. Hurriedly, she opened her own account and searched. There she found her friend's new post.
