The wind danced around the trees like a stripper on a pole. The fresh morning breeze awakened Zunnie's senses. She bit down on her bottom lip as she shook her head to clear her mind.

She and Sanua had plans to go out tonight and Zunnie was particularly happy they were meeting up. They had not seen each other for three weeks now.

"Today is going to be a great day!" She said reassuring herself.

Sweat was glistening all over her bare skin from the run she just had. It felt good to be energized on her day off. Her plans today day before heading out, was to clean her fish tank her mom gifted to her for her eighth birthday. She also wanted to do some minor cleaning. Even if Zunnie had a house cleaner which came once a week at the request of her dad, she still enjoyed doing house chores. Her dad was over protective at times and after her mom passed away, he was constantly doing unnecessary things.

Like one time on her twenty-fourth birthday, he threw her a surprise party and invited only boys. If it had not been for her older brother who became furious and invited a few of her friends, he would have succeeded in ruining her special day.

On another occasion, he invited her out to lunch and never showed up. Instead he arranged a blind date for her with a boy who had gone to her high school. Jang Zhi had teased her constantly at school and she hated him. Even though he seemed more mature and handsome, she couldn't help but be mad at her dad.

She was shocked to see him walk in and introduce himself like he was her old friend. As soon as he sat down she became even more livid. She hurriedly got up said goodbye and left. On her way back to her office she called her dad.

Mr. Bai seeing his daughter calling knew he would be scolded. So, he ignored her call and sent her a message saying he was busy and would call later which he never did.

Seeing that he was lying, Zunnie called her big brother Eyan Bai and complained to him.

Eyan burst out laughing after he heard what had happened. His dad always found ways to make Zunnie mad. Sometimes his plans always back fired, yet he was still trying to marry off his only daughter.

After telling his sister he would talk to their father, they chatted for a few minutes. He hung up still thinking about how cute his sister looked when she was angry and dialed their father.

''Haha cheeky old man won't reply eh.'' Eyan ended the call.

Thinking about her dad Zunnie walked into the apartment unaware someone was staring at her back from their bedroom.

"Mr. Zi?" Secretary Zhang repeated a third time before he heard a reply.

"Yes, continue." Alex replied his gaze still fixated on the back of the girl who was no longer there.

He was on the phone with his secretary about a dinner meeting he had later today with two investors from a construction company.

As soon as he answered the phone, he hopped out of bed and walked towards wall standing in front of the bed. He opened the curtains blocking the wall of glass letting the rays of sun peak through. The sun slapped his face gently, waking up his senses. Holding the phone to his ear, he looked down only to see the back of a woman with long red brown hair pulled back into a high pony tail walking into the building. She wore a rose-pink Nike jacket, black shorts paired with a set of white and rose pink running shoes. She had on a pair of earphones as she walked in. Her walk was confident yet, graceful for someone who just came from working out. He had no idea what was happening, but he had been mesmerized by the view of her back.

After he got off the phone with Secretary Zhang, he took shower and headed to the office to sign a few documents that needed his signature.
