The soup had to be fed to Alex since his right arm was broken. Madam Zi took the bowl from Eyan and began feeding him.

"Grandma you look tired. I'm okay now you guys should head home to rest when I'm done." Alex said looking up at her tired and swollen eyes.

"You guys don't have to worry. I'll be staying with my sis tonight, so I can check on him." Eyan reassured them as he walked them to the elevator and back toward Alex's room.

Alex was the first to speak when we walked back into the room.

"So, is she really doing okay? I'm tougher than you think, you don't have to lie to me. I know somethings wrong."

"Umm, bro I don't know how to say this, but I think we should wait until you get physically stronger to tell you more. You woke not too long ago; I don't want to worry you." Eyan found an excuse to not tell him the truth.

"I realize that you're not going to tell me the truth," Alex replied in a dejected tone.

"Do you remember what happened?"

"Yes, I do…but if you want to know, you will have to tell me how my wife, your sister, is doing truthfully."

'Such a businessman; even in pain he wants to negotiate.' Eyan couldn't help thinking.

He could tell that Alex was becoming annoyed and impatient. He felt miserable looking at his helpless his commonly cool and confident brother in law appeared. He did have a point though, Zunnie was his wife so he had a right to know.

"Well… uhh, she hit her head pretty badly and…" Eyan paused before he continued.

Even though the pause was not a long one before he could continue speaking he heard Alex say;

"And…?" His raspy voice questioned Eyan impatiently.

"They uh, they don't know when she's going to wake up or if she will. If she does wake up she may suffer from head injuries and memory loss."

The room remained quiet for a while after he spoke. He wondered if Alex was processing what he had just said. Eyan glanced to where he laid and felt his eyes sting.

Alex's expression was so melancholic that he felt as if his heart had been shattered. He couldn't help wondering if Alex was going to cry.

"She is strong, she will wake up soon." He tried to reassure his brother in law.

"W-Wh-When can I see her?" He had spoken so softly that if Eyan were one step farther he would not have heard.

"This we're going to have to ask the doctor. Maybe when you're strong enough to sit in a wheelchair."

"Mhm," was all Alex replied.

Eyan wanted to ask about the accident but didn't know how to ask Alex. He walked to the window and stared into the night. After standing there for what seemed like five minutes he turned back to Alex.

He had been gazing up at the white hospital room's ceiling.

"I don't think it was an accident. Whoever did it or planned it will definitely feel my wrath." Alex was angry as he spoke.

"The police suspected that it was a not an accident, but no one came forward. They're still investigating the case."

"Tomorrow I will begin my own investigation. Has Talia come to visit me?"

"Ah, Natalia, no… She is shooting a movie in Italy."

"Hm, okay." Can you help me find my wife's car? I had a camera installed at the front and back. If the cameras were not damaged during the accident, we have evidence.

"Sure bro; You think she had something to do with it?" Eyan asks curiously.

"I'm not sure, but I know she was not happy that Zunnie and I were married," Alex replied confidently.

"Oh, she's not in Una City but if she had something to do with it we will surely find out. Just let me know if you need anything else. I'll be there. It's kind of late right now so I will make some calls tomorrow. Get some rest and I will see you tomorrow. I'm glad you're here."

After speaking with Alex. Eyan walked out of the room and headed toward the elevator. He got in his car and called his secretary.

"I want you to find my sis car no matter what. there were cameras installed to the front and back of her Volvo we need to find them. Also, I need to know what Natalia's schedule has been like. Send someone to follow her in Italy. Please have all this information ready before lunch tomorrow. Get some rest."

'Even if we couldnt protect her, we will definitely find the person responsible.'

Eyan was angry. Deep down he had known that this was no accident, but hearing from Alex that it wasn't, he vowed to make the person responsible pay.

He went back to Zunnie's room after the call. His father had fallen asleep beside her. He woke him up and told the driver to take him home.
