Cally stepped back into the office shortly. Marcus was busy on his phone. He had permanently borrowed a notepad as he was busy on the phone. He had even moved behind Harland's desk to make things easier. Cally thought he looked quite like a busy CEO. He seemed to be handling several tasks at once. When Marcus finished speaking and disconnected the current call, she asked, ""This was very inconvenient to bring me here for you wasn't it?"

Marcus looked up and gave Cally a probing look. He was a little concerned on how upset she might be. She looked fine but he realized her question was of real interest for him so he replied truthfully, "Not at all. Most of what I am handling at the moment is in regards to Olen's passing. That and the incident with Councilwoman Rosemount." "Oh?" Cally turned her head to the side, thinking carefully, "Olen's death has thrown them for a loop hasn't it? Some of those old farts know that means Rebecca's gone too..." Cally's head tilted the other way as She considered. "Anything that I need to be made aware of?"

Marcus was watching Cally tilt her head from right to left, thinking this more than anything else about her was very wolf or canine like. He stood and walked around the desk, "I can tell you on the way back if you are finished here?" A swift nod was his answer. He thought of the most recent call and started there as he led the way out. "I believe I just recieved a relayed phone message. Someone seems to have sent a radio message to a wolf pack in Russia that was then relayed by phone to us here at Clan Home." He was getting ready to open the Jeep's passenger door when he realized he had lost Cally. He looked back to see her eyes closed, head raised to the mid-morning sky with an indescribable smile on her face.

She suddenly looked at him and said, "CHEESECAKE!" Her eyes closed again and she took a deep breath, "I smell cheesecake and chocolate and hmm and Doughnuts! There's a bakery uhh, over here." And with that Cally took off down the street. Marcus shook his head closed the jeep door and followed. It looked like someone needed a sugar fix this morning. Cally had already sprinted away and was entering the bakery. Marcus smiled, as he briefly considered if she was this enthusiastic about everything...

Cally was thrilled, cheesecake covered in miniature dark chocolate kisses, AH! Heaven! "I need 2 cheesecakes, oh cut me a slice for now, and um, 3 dozen doughnuts. What kind? ahh some of everything of course. And uhh Marcus would you like anything?" Cally was smiling brilliantly at Marcus as he entered. he simply shook his head. "Mmm kay, oh and a glass of milk too." Marcus collected her purchases as she wolfed down (pun intended) her cheesecake and milk. "So delicious." she murmured as she licked at her milk mustache. Marcus was unaware of his smile as he stared at the vibrant girl before him.

Cally held the door so Marcus could lead the way back to the SUV. Now that her stomach was happy it was time to remember she must follow behind Marcus whenever possible. She absolutely cannot pass up the chance of that scenery. "Marcus, you were saying something about a relayed call?" "Ah, yes, The call was a little garbled, But what I got was,'Is she there? Tell her I come. to wait Ivar'; Do you know if this is intended to be for you?" Another head tilt, "Probably." This time Cally opened the back door of the Jeep so Marcus could load her delicacies.

Marcus handed Cally into the SUV and then drove her back into Clan Home. " Cally do you need anything else for now? I need to handle a few matters in my office if not." She smiled and shook her head, "No, I shouldn't leave the girls for too long and we have doughnuts."

"Hmm, the girls, They are recent werewolf victims? Jake MacTíre made them?" Cally nodded without other comment. Marcus continued, "Jake MacTíre was old and strong. We had sent a full team to take him out when we got the first report of his madness but were too late." he glanced at the beautiful golden hair that was hiding her face as her head was bowed forward. "Someone had blown the place to hell. Nothing was left. Was that Rebecca?" A guilty face looked up with a mouth full of doughnut, "uh uh" She swallowed, "That was me!" "Umm so do you want a bite of doughnut? I, Uh, could share."

"No thank you. I had breakfast much earlier. Was Rebecca injured when she took out MacTíre?" *Pfft* "Please!" Cally was slightly indignant, "Becca could have been run over by an M1A1 Abrams tank and still serve tea! No doughnuts for you!" Marcus noted the second military term and responded, "I'm sorry but not having met Rebecca, I have questions about her and the Wotan clan." A second doughnut disappeared, "Mmm kay," "The team I had sent had med techs with them because we expected casualties." Cally frowned, "The only casualties left were the girls." "No, I mean we expected some of the squad to have injuries. It was expected to be a tough fight."
