While the two was having a conversation, loud sirens were heard coming from outside, with someone talking using a loudspeaker, “Surrender now, you are being surrounded!”

As the cops were approaching, Pang Jing Dong sneaked his pistol onto Jing Ling Ling’s hand.
One of the cops was wearing a white shirt under the uniform, causing him to stand out among them. When Jing Ling Ling saw that person, she ran up and dived into his arms while sobbing, “Dad… Dad… You’re finally here!”
“Are you alright? Good to know you’re unharmed!” Seeing his daughter’s face covered with dust, Mr. Jing felt sorry for her and hugged her tight in his arms.
Jing Ling Ling’s call for reinforcement was immediately reported to the Secretary, Mr. Jing. As a result, the loving father decided to take the lead and rushed to the scene. The guy following beside him was the captain of the criminal department. The captain was absolutely terrified when he heard the news. He had no idea what he had done wrong to deserve this. As the cops were escorting the prisoner out, Pang Jing Dong was brought before Mr. Jing, who asked, “Who are you?”
“I’m a regular employee at Zheng Dong Real Estate Enterprise. I’m here to check on the evacuation of the area. Who knew… I would end up in such an incident. Luckily this brave lady cop saved me, or else…” Pang Jing Dong had long prepared his excuse, but to make it more convincing, he was saying it in a jabbering way.

“He’s right dad. It’s unfortunate for him to have such an encounter. He must be terrified!” said Jing Ling Ling, who tried her best to hold back her laugh. She then pleaded, “Can you get me a car so that I can drive him back?”
Mr. Jing looked at her daughter, then glanced at the young fellow before him, and let out an understanding smile. “As long as you are safe! Take a rest today, do whatever you want and relax!”
Jing Ling Ling and Pang Jing Dong entered a police car, with Jing Ling Ling driving. Without further delay, they left the scene immediately.
Pang Jing Dong asked, “Do you have any bullets left?”
“I’ve got a clip from vice-captain. That’s about it!”
The two switched glances at each other and smiled.
They arrived at a residential area with a relatively good environment. Jing Ling Ling pointed toward one of the high-rise buildings, “Vice-captains house is on the third floor!”
“If only we have an infrared detector, we would be able to tell how many people are there in the house!”
“Why do you know so much about these things?”
Pang Jing Dong did not answer the question, “Seems like you are quite concerned of your vice-captain. He’s not only your colleague, right?”
After hesitating for a while, Jing Ling Ling said, “Vice-captain and my dad are mates in the military. After that, they are both transferred to work as policemen. They are quite close to each other. Vice-captain actually watched me growing up. He probably had never thought that I would become his subordinate one day.”

Pang Jing Dong nodded his head, “Therefore, you’re trying to protect his honor.”
“That’s right! Only us two can save his son. If other people are involved in this, people would know what he has done!”
“You’re courageous!”
“It’s no longer your business. It’s my responsibility from now on. You can leave now!”
Pang Jing Dong laughed while asking, “Not going to arrest me anymore?”
Jing Ling Ling fell into silence, before saying, “I believe you are a good guy…”
“I’m not a good guy! But fortunately, I have never broken the law which you are protecting!”
“That’s good to know!”
“To thank you for being trustful in me, I’ve decided to take part in this till the end!”
“Thank you!” After a brief pause, she said, “But, do you believe what the vice-captain said?”
Pang Jing Dong asked her back, “Do you believe it?”
“It doesn’t matter if I believe or not. Either way, I have to save his son!”
“If so, I could tell you that I do believe his words! First, he had a lot of chances to take us out secretly, but he didn’t. This shows that he was struggling mentally to make a decision. Second, if he were working with the criminal gang, he would regroup with them after he left, not being shot to death.”
“How did you realize we are being betrayed?”
“It’s simple! Even after moving through the shanty town with complicated landscaping, the criminals still located us with ease. The only explanation was someone was giving them directions.”
Jing Ling Ling continued to ask, “But why did you suspect vice-captain instead of me?”

However, how did the vice-captain know our exact location after moving between the alleys in a long period?”
Jing Ling Ling was unable to hear him talking. She asked, “What shall we do now?”
“Let’s check out the situation!”
Pang Jing Dong took the gun from Jing Ling Ling and told her to lead the way. They arrived before the vice-captain’s house. There was a rubbish bag outside the house, which Pang Jing Dong looked through carefully before telling Jing Ling Ling, “There’s only one criminal inside!”
“Shall we knock?”
“Sure! But not with you wearing like this!”
Jing Ling Ling understood Pang Jing Dong’s intention. If someone were to see a cop standing outside looking through the peep hole, the person would be alerted. She tried to think of a way, and in the end, she stomped hard at the ground with her foot and undressed her uniform, leaving a pair of white brassieres on her upper body.
Pang Jing Dong smilingly scanned Jing Ling Ling’s body with his eyes. A pair of firm b**bies were tightly covered, which seemed to be the perfect size in Pang Jing Dong’s opinion. In the meantime, Jing Ling Ling put on her uniform with her fastest speed and showed her badge to the guy, “Police!”
The unfortunate culprit finally learned why people would always say, “Indulging on your lust is equivalent to hang a knife upon your head.” He fell into despair after knowing the lady standing before him was a cop. In a trembling voice, he said, “I’m the only one here, with the kid…”
“Good to hear that! Thank you, and goodbye!” said Pang Jing Dong, who pulled the trigger.
When an object was penetrated by a bullet, an interesting scene would be seen. The second hole would be bigger than the first hole. This was due to the vibration of the bullet inside the object. With a ‘bang’, a hole exploded on the culprit’s head, splattering a mixture of blood and brain liquid onto the floor.
Pang Jing Dong threw the door open and rushed into the house. He searched every single room thoroughly. There was no sign of a second culprit, just a big kid who was tied firmly to a chair.
