After a closer look at the new Scale of Doom features, Rainer smiled, this unexpected new defense shield was truly incredible.
Even though the use of soul attacks was almost restricted to cultivators at the Nascent Soul stage, there were still geniuses and techniques capable of reproducing them at the expense of a minor power.

Rainer lay down in his comfortable bed before closing his eyes due to the exhaustion of fighting Guo Yi and almost dying from Kirios' attack.
Shortly after closing his eyes, Rainer entered the world of dreams and returned to the Divine Palace, the golden giant gates opened in his presence as usual but there was something strange.
Knights in golden armor stood motionless in various points of the palace, their faces as cold as the edge of their weapons looked straight ahead without doing the slightest movement, they looked like decorative statues.
After a more detailed examination, he was able to notice that a warm air emanated from the hull of the statues as if they were alive!
"Why I am not surprised at this point?" Rainer muttered as he advanced to the meeting room.
"Weird, Jehako is always hanging out here but there's no sign of him or Celine..."
Unable to find Jehako or Celine, Rainer searched the palace until he found fighting marks in one of the corridors.
The floor and walls were full of sword cuts, each cut had a great depth as if a broadsword had penetrated in it, a piece from Jehako's armor was embedded in the floor next to his sword fragments.
"What the hell happened here?" Rainer thought when he saw all the destruction, apart from the sword cuts, there were traces of an unknown but familiar energy to him.
The time energy!
A strange energy flow circulated through the air threatening to consume anyone who came into contact with it.
The energy was repairing the corridor cracks, or rather it was making them return to a period of time where they were in a perfect state!
"It is the same feeling as when I crossed the cave and ended up in the Viper Sect, only Jehako and Celine could do anything like this, the question is, why?" Rainer was confused by such events, he never thought that Jehako and Celine would end up fighting seriously.

On one of the lower levels of the Divine Palace, Celine was dragging a battered Jehako across the floor to the underground dungeon.
"Why are you doing this? Are you afraid your plan won't turn out the way you expected?"
Jehako spat, unable to move his translucent body after using up almost all his soul power, Jehako was now a soul without a body to return to, if he exhausted all his forces, he would disappear forever.
"You are a threat to the celestial designs, to eliminate you immediately will suppose numerous suspicions from Rainer and I do not want to spoil his growth."Celine said.
"Why do you do this?" Jehako asked.

"Are you not going to..."
"To kill the Gods, that has always been our goal..." Said Celine before throwing Jehako into a cell.
"Kill the Gods... don't be ridiculous, who else is involved?"
"Now that you've come this far, I'll tell you..."

"Your companions were desperate to win that lost battle and I only had to convince your leaders from the shadows to sacrifice you all,that's the way I was able to unleash my true power with your souls!"Celine began to laugh before stopping and talking again.
"It seems that Rainer has returned, I have to come up with an excuse for your disappearance, we can't let our pet discover the cake before it finishes baking... "Celine left the dungeon step by step as Jehako's shout reached her ears.
