"They're plotting a way to divide us up. We need t stick together, or we will be defeated." Du Yi explained.
"I know what needs to be done." Zi Xin picked up his communicator and sent a message to Tai Sun. He then looked over to his two teammates, and they nodded their heads. "Let us attack them together!"
The ground cracked below them, and thousands or roots from trees encased them. The three of them weren't prepared for the sneak attack and were subdued.
A floating golem in the air laughed. "You though a peak Avatar warrior like myself would let these bunch do what they wanted." The golem said to Leo and the gang below.
"Mallqui, we had this under control," Leo yelled up to him. "Anyways, there is one more who has Lucy."
A voice from the giant pile of roots yelled out. "We already told him to leave without us."
Then Leo recalled the middle guy making a call on his communication device. He sighed, and he told himself, "they got Lucy." Leo felt conflicted but remembered what he and Lucy talked about.
She said if they came for them she would persuade them to take her. If that didn't work, then a fight is what they would get. Seeing as their leader already left, Leo looked at the pile of roots and decided he had no more will to fight.
"Mallqui, release them, but break that one's arm for killing Leaf."
The golem gave an awkward smile and did what Leo asked. Right before all the vines disappeared, everyone heard a snap and a scream. Du Yi and Zi Xin looked at Ka Ling with pity. Ka Ling was in extream pain, and her right arm was completely limp.
"You humans are not welcomed here in Machu Pichu. Leave Now."
Hearing the golem's booming voice gave them a headache but they obliged and left in a hurry. All three provided a final look at Leo before vanishing.
Leo sighed and looked over to the tree that he placed Pedro. Team Zodiac gave him something to make him tired. Leo walked over and picked him up. "I'm sorry we got you involved into this little Pedro." Leo brushed his hair over.
"Don't worry Leo he..." Shadow paused for a second, "and Lucy will be ok."
"I know." Leo looked up at the golem in the sky looking towards the humans running. "Mallqui, can you take a look at Pedro and make sure he is well."
"Of course." Responded the gentle giant.

On an airship, Tai Sun received a call from Zi Xin saying they were released. Tai Sun looked over to the calm and collected Lucy. "Did she calculate all of this?" He wondered.
The dragon turned the aircraft around and started to head back to coordinates the Rooster Knight gave him. He then heard a voice from behind them.
"They let them leave. That was nice of them." Lucy said in a fake surprised tone.
Tai Sun looked back to see this look on the woman's face. "This woman is his daughter." He mumbled to himself.
The ship flew to a clearing where the Team Zodiac signaled them down letting them know they weren't followed.
Tai Sun opened the hatch to see his three comrades. "Ka Ling! What happened?"
The woman who had her ark broken in several places just looked at her leader lifelessly. It was a painful trek to get to this location. The entire time was painful for her, but her pride would not let Rooster or Ox Knight help her.
"Leo had her punished for killing the boy's beast." Zi Xin responded for her.
Hearing the commotion outside, Lucy smirked. Leo and Shadow always surprised her in their decisiveness. That is something you can only learn in many life and death battles. Lucy was also happy that the woman outside was punished. "That boy has lost a lot. Poor Pedro." Lucy told herself.
The airship flew through the air, heading north into the Pacific Ocean. Zi Xin helped Ka Ling into a sling even though she demanded him not too. Zi Xi probed her arm with mana and realized all three major bones were snapped in half. He looked at her with disbelief.
"I'm sorry we asked you to retrieve the boy." Tai Sun interrupted.
"Tai Sun, I was the most suitable choice given my skills." Ka Ling said through gritting her teeth. Zi Xin reached up and pinched the nerve near her neck. Instantly the entire arms pain went away. "Ah." The release of pain became a relief. "Thank you," she whispered to Zi Xin.
The atmosphere became silent for a second then Tai Sun spoke up again. "We didn't retrieve Leo so be prepared for punishment. At least we might be let off with retrieving his daughter." He paused for a second. "Also with the Leaders around the world being killed off. We need to strike now while each race is in disarray."
"Is that why we are near the mermanian and beastmen capitol?" Du Yi asked.
"I think so," Tia Sun agreed.
"What is going on up ahead?" Du Yi asked as he was flying.
Through the aircraft monitoring windows, Team Zodiac saw that the Renegades were under attack by mermanian forces. A message came through the radio communication device. "All units nearby, we are under attack. We repeat. We are under attack."
