In Machu Pichu, Urcaguary was having a tough time with Spyrir. With Spyrir's attacks being so versatile, Urcaguary was on the defensive the entire time. Lucky for him, he was an earth and metal cultivator. They are naturally the strongest in defense arts.
Underground, the whole place was shaking, and Leo's training room started to collapse. "What is going on?" He asked. The roof caved in, and Leo had to fabricate an earth dome to keep from being buried alive.
*Cough* *Cough*
Dust filled the dome. "I need to get to the surface to see what is going on."
Leo was on the verge of a breakthrough when the room collapsed. The Mana Fighter stage is all about creating that core of mana. Since Leo was using an already created one, he had to use his mana and blood to make it his. Upon breaking into the Core Builder stage, he would be able to store and circulate mana faster.
Since he didn't break through the mana inside him was overflowing. Using all the energy within him, he made the earth spin like a drill upwards to get out.
On the surface, the ground started moving until a breach was mad and large rock dome drilled its way out. As Leo was making his way up out of his room, so were the draconians up the mountain.
"The draconians are attacking again. The Avatar warriors are leading the charge." One golem yelled.
"They're launching fireballs. Everyone off the wall."
*KABOOM*
The combined effort of the remaining Avatar warriors destroyed the wall surround Machu Pichu.
Lucy was nursing Shadow in a building when she ran outside to see the destruction of the wall. She heard the earth moving nearby and saw a large rock emerge from underneath.
As Leo climbed out of the whole, his eyes landed on Lucy who was across the courtyard. Her beautiful face and hair whipping in the wind made him forget that he was almost buried alive.
Lucy spotted a dirty, tan, and dark-haired man stare at her from a distance. She would know that trouble maker anywhere.
*KABOOM*
The explosion caused the two of them to turn towards the warriors launching a barrage of attacks at the golems. Draconians climbed over the rubble and started firing lasers and attacking with fire arts.
A Core Builder saw Leo and leaped into the air. "Oh, a human. Taste my Salamander's Flame!"
Lucy ran over as quickly as possible, but she was too far away to save him.
Leo just smiled and allowed the flame to blast at him. Leo raised his forearm to take the brunt of the attack. On his wrist was a bracer with a stone in bedded into it. The flame art crashed into the bracer and was absorbed completely.
Leo flicked his hand to have the earth below him launch him up. "Taste your flame." Leo released the Salamander's Flame upon the draconian. The warrior was dazed that this human used his own flame against him.
The draconian snapped out of it and launched another flame to collide with it. Distracted by the fire blast, the draconian didn't see the twelve rock spikes stab up from the ground and impale him.
The bracelet on Leo's arm shined. It was a gold bracelet with an embedded ruby. Inspired by Sprite, the power to absorb mana, and the technique he learned long ago, Leo created his first artifact. He calls it Mirror Bracer.
"He is always full of surprises." Lucy was worried until Leo turned it around in seconds causing her to stop in her tracks. "Why do I ever worry?" She was relieved for a second until she looked closer to see Leo had scars around his eyes and two metal arms. A bit of sadness came over her. Everything that happened to Leo was true.
Leo walked over and hugged Lucy. "I missed you," he said in a gentle tone.
Lucy swallowed hard. She didn't know what to say. She started shaking and was about to cry when a fireball was launched at them. Lucy erected a barrier around them.
The flame art crashed into her wind barrier, and Leo took off to flank their new enemy.
Lucy wiped her face and shook her head. "This is no time to get emotional," she told herself. "Leo, pin him down."
This second Core Builder would not let his guard down against this peak Mana FIghter. He brandished his spear instead of using martial arts like his predecessor.
Running at the draconian, Leo used Earth Control to pull stones to him to create a giant mace. The makeshift mace had a head of about five meters wide. Leo lifted the mace over his head with both arms and crashed the mace down upon draconian.
The Core Builder clashed with the stone mace using his spear. The force behind mace caused his legs to buckle and crash to the ground. The draconian released an area fire attack.
Leo jumped back to get out of the way. He didn't bother absorbing the attack since it wasn't concentrated enough to gather.
The draconian thought it had a breather when thunderstruck and lightning landed upon him. Then a large black spear was stabbed through his skull showing no mercy. The fresh blood on Lucifer's Spear made it almost sparkle in the sun.
As Lucy and Leo were enjoying their reunion with fighting several draconians, the battles of the Construct warriors were heating up.
Since Spyrir was fighting an earth and metal user, he focused on using wood element. The four races didn't have many that focused on the wood element. Most warriors would concentrate on the stronger aspect of life than wood. This didn't mean wood element was weak by any means it just meant that many on earth would not use it.
Controlling the wood element, Spyrir made vines emerge from the ground and bind Urcaguary. As much as he broke a few roots many would take its place.
"It's time to die rock-man." Spyrir flew over Urcaguary to finish him off.
