Simon silently prepared his lecture notes on his podium as the student got seated on their own. Each one of them took out a set of stationary, books and looked to Simon in anticipation.

Simon had already taught these lessons before, but now he had to teach them all in an understandable way, while only being in the span of what was left of the sunny afternoon. Simon didn't exactly find this to be an amazing situation, but he resolved himself to make do with what he could. If he could force down all the knowledge from the last month, then he can definitely teach the class everything he needed to within the time before The Siege. He already knew what would happen to those that weren't prepared, or rather, he had already written down what would happen to them.

'Quick and understandable.'

3 hours later:

'O my... I have already used up another 100 page book... There is just so much knowledge! I understand it, but I need to note this down so I can explore it!' Mark inwardly shouted as he opened up his 4th notebook.

'If I write everything small enough, I can have one book full of knowledge with room for personal notes. This is painstakingly difficult! I need to work harder, I need to be able to master all of these concepts.' -Tyson

'What in the world is could birth such an amazing professor? I have never heard of such concepts but all of them make so much sense! It's like gaining enlightenment every time he starts a new sentence. IT NEVER STOPS!' -Sienna

'I have noted down everything in my notebooks, one notebook for each topic, leaving some room to spare. But even then, I feel as though I need a larger notebook for each topic, I could only summarise so much. And I will still need time to understand what I have just summarised. I have never listened to such a densely packed lecture.' -James

'Noting down so many things is definitely not my forte, and I would like to keep it hat way. Too bad that we entered a month late... so much knowledge is flooding into my head, it's giving me a huge headache. I need to work harder though, so I can catch up to Simon. All of this work, it's really nothing.' -Michelle

'Note down. Don't stop noting down. If you stop, you will never catch up.' -Sam

"The lesson is now over. You may leave from whence you came." Simon calmly announced as he took a deep breath.

"Make sure you all study what I have assigned you all. I will personally check your progress, so do not disappoint me; especially you, Tyrone. I have very high expectations for you."

"Yes Professor!"

"Now please leave, I need to attend to my lecture preparations. Teaching a class of over 100 students is not as easy as I lead you all to believe."

The group left in an orderly manny after they packed up their working equipment leaving from the front door in a more slow speed than usual students. They all felt that staying in the auditorium would lead to greater knowledge, but they also knew that Simon had other things to attend to. Thus, they left the auditorium.

"So, Professor White, are you satisfied with those students?" An elderly voice asked.

"Yes, they are a good batch."

The owner of the voice was seated at the back of the auditorium, in a scholars robe and smiling in a jolly manner.

"You know, that some in the teaching faculty despise you. I wouldn't be surprised, what you just taught could be the best lecture I have ever witnessed."

"Listen, Head Teacher Winston seems to be quite annoyed at you. I advise caution when dealing with him, he's a crafty man."

Simon leaned his back on the podium, tilting his head to the right as he sighed. "So what if he's annoyed, I don't have any personal connections to him. So he won't do anything." Simon laughed.

"I still advise caution, he may not target you, but he might just go after your students."

"That's why Haven has policies in place. If he even tries the slightest of transgressions, then he will be made redundant, no?"

"There is even a clause in Haven's rules that state that if a teacher is caught abusing a student, they may be sent to a penitentiary for an undisclosed amount of time." Simon sighed.

"I will keep an eye on him, thank you for the warning though."

"Anytime, the faculty is for nurturing students. Doing otherwise is a crime against Haven."

Simon finished preparing his lecture notes for the next day and left the auditorium with all of his notes and belongings. After a day full of spontaneous events, Simon actually wanted to just do nothing. He desired stuffing his head into a pillow and sleep for 12 hours, he had already resolved himself to put a 'Do not disturb' sign on his door. He had run around like an idiot for the entire day and now he could finally 'chill'.

"Before you go and rest up, I also believe my PP-81G!" The man laughed.

'Of course he knows, the legend of PP-819 is one to be amazed at after all. But how did-' Simon quickly looked back, but the man was no longer there, he was gone. It was as if Simon had just spoken to nothing.

<kiddo, you'd better work on your 'battle moves' soon. Even those students of yours have some. Wouldn't hurt to consider creating a few>

"He's part of the system. Another voice in my head."

Simon had learned a few things in the time that he had spent in this world. He had learnt that the novel he had written could only be used as guidelines to what one should expect, not what will happen. He had also learnt that his characters were indeed different to what he wrote. It felt to Simon that this world was indeed real, but a lingering feeling always stood in his way. A feeling that told him that he doesn't belong.
