The next day...

Ryn quickly put her things back into the bag. She had a lunch promise with Harry. Harry even reminded her several times about it so she could not cancel it... again.

Luckily for her, Harry agreed to have lunch at the cafeteria instead of outside the campus, where restaurants and cafes dotting along the road. She still needed to watch over her spending after buying a new house and renovate on it. Also, she spent quite a lot for renting a new house and moving her things there.

"Are you running again?" Erin commented dryly.

Her friends and the other classmates looked at Ryn.

Ryn sighed. She was so lazy to get involved in a drama when she had so many things in her plate right now. She needed to move now or she would be late.

"I just want to have my lunch, if that's too weird for you," Ryn replied, standing up and adjusting her backpack.

"Excuses..." one of them muttered.

"Think what you want to think. I'm heading for my lunch," Ryn replied and walked toward the door. It was just a waste of time trying to explain when they were filled with suspicious and prejudice over her. She was too busy to get involved with this childish drama.

Harry was already waiting outside when she walked out of the class. He smiled and approached her.

"How's your class?" he asked, trying to take her bag but she refused. He could only walk next to her with a heavy sigh. Why wouldn't she let him bringing her bag?

Was she still uneasy with him?

"I don't think this drama will end," Ryn suddenly spoke, breaking Harry from his worry.

"What drama?" Harry was a bit puzzled with what she meant.

She used her eyes to look at those students watching and whispering while watching them.

"I have the feeling of being regret with the lawsuit," Ryn sighed. Although she was not the one suing Jennifer per se but with Jeremy included her in the lawsuit and the press conference, she had to accept the consequence.

"I don't think it's because of the lawsuit," Harry said slowly. He did notice the look and whisper but the thought of spending time with Ryn made him ignore them. Nothing was more important than Ryn.

"The scandal? I don't even understand why I've been pulled into their quarrel," Ryn shrugged. She did not care about Jennifer. She did not care whether Jennifer and Jeremy...

Unconsciously her hand touched against her chest, against her heart. It felt like something squeezing her heart.

She guessed she was not happy with that thought although she was still unwilling to name her real feeling toward Jeremy. She was not ready for any relationship. Not now. Not ever.

"But you're not in a relationship with Jeremy, right?" Harry asked. His heart was pounding hard as he waited for the answer nervously.

"He's just a friend. A close friend," Ryn said quickly. She crossed her arms and looked at him, "Can't we don't talk about him?"

Harry was too happy to accept that request. "Okay. We don't talk about him."

They entered the building for the cafeteria. Harry quickly opened the door for her and was rewarded with a 'thank you' from her. He smiled.

"So, what do you want?" she asked once they entered the busy cafeteria.

"Let's check what they're offering," he decided and pulled her toward the first stall.

They walked from one stall to another. Of course, Ryn's decision was quick. She wanted steak or something with a lot of meat with the least amount of vegetables. Once Harry saw Ryn chose her food, he chose the same. For drink, she decided to have fresh orange while he wanted to have coffee.

"It's a weird combination," she commented once they found a table to sit and looked at his meal.

"I don't think so," he denied, taking out a napkin for her.

She placed the napkin on her laps and started eating.

He smiled watching her concentration. He turned his focus on his own food. They kept quiet while enjoying their meal and their companion.

"You don't have class tomorrow, right? Do you have any plan?" he asked as they walked to the door after their lunch.

"I don't have class... no... but..."

"Can you help me with my walk?" he quickly asked before she could finish her words. "Or do you have any other plan tomorrow?"

"What time?" she decided that she could still squeeze a couple of hours helping Harry despite busy with her 'alone lifestyle'. When else could she find the time to help her junior?

"Morning?" he planned to ask her for a lunch date. So if they started practising in the morning, they could have a meal together in the afternoon after the practice.

"Okay. I'll tell Mei Li to book the studio," Ryn replied with a nod. She did not find it weird for him to ask her teaching him. She considered him as her junior and as a senior, it was her job to help him improve himself.

She did not think much about his feeling. They were friends, not more than that.

*~*~*~*

Mei Li put down the phone and sighed heavily. She quickly stood up and went to the studio. Hopefully, no one booked the studio tomorrow.

"Hey, Mei Li. Where are you going?" a colleague asked when she was on the way downstairs to the studio.

"I'm going to the studio. Is there anyone using it?" she asked.

"I don't think so."

"Okay. I'll check it up. Bye," Mei Li waved her goodbye and continued her journey. She held to the canister as she walked downstairs. The studio was on the ground floor while the managers all shared the third floor. It was a fourth-floor building with two studios behind the lobby.

No wonder Ryn was so lazy to come here. She had to climb upstairs to go to Mei Li's room.

"Can I book the studio tomorrow morning?" Mei Li asked the girl in charge of the studios.

"Is Ryn coming here?" the girl asked.

"Yes. She wants to practice her walk with Harry," Mei Li replied.

"Ahh... the young boy is in love," the girl commented with a giggle.

"I don't think so. He's too new to get involved with Ryn," Mei Li denied.

"Think about it, Mei Li. From what I can see, he's not that bad when walking and posing. But he keeps trying to find ways to make Ryn spend more time with him. Don't you think how sly he can be sometimes?"

Mei Li frowned. With the way right now, it was not proper for Harry to squeeze himself in between Ryn and Jeremy. It was unsuitable for him to act this way.

"He's just her friend, not more than that," Mei Li said firmly.

The girl shrugged. She typed in Mei Li's request for tomorrow's morning. She printed out the application form and handed it to Mei Li. "I'm saying what I'm seeing. But who knows what will happen. You've got to be careful, Mei Li. It's hard when broken relationship sharing the same manager."

Mei Li did not answer. She was a bit worried when she thought about this. Knowing Ryn's character, if Harry and Ryn were together and then broke up, Mei Li would be under trouble as well. Ryn would quit and disappear again, like when she broke up with Jeremy that time. She just collected her belongings and then puff, disappeared. And there was no use asking from Mika or her parents. Mika would not know anything while Ryn's parents would keep their mouth shut.

It would be a disaster.

"No... no... this is just a... this is not going to happen," she shook her head quickly. She would not let that to happen. She would not allow that to happen.

She called Ryn to tell her about the studio and most importantly, she needed to ensure Ryn had no plan of going out with Harry.

"Is it done?" Ryn asked after greeting her.

"Yes. Tomorrow at 10.00 am."

"Good. I'll be there after breakfast. What about the filming crews for tomorrow?"

"I'm waiting for them here before going to your place to set the cameras. Of course, I'll brief them about your schedule tomorrow."

"Do I need to buy the grocery today after class?" Ryn asked.

"No... no... You can buy it tomorrow so it will be more realistic. Besides, your days today is quite pack, right? You need to break the news to Mika."

"Ergh... don't remind me of that before my class. Hey, the lecturer is here. I'll call you back after this."

The call ended before Mei Li could ask about her feeling toward Harry. Mei Li sighed and put the phone away. She believed in Ryn. The Ryn she knew would know what was best for her and being with a new model like Harry was not the best thing for Ryn to do.

"Ryn, don't let me down, please."
