Alisha shook by the noise of clattering plates from Reesha's hands. Reesha was so shocked that she dropped them on the floor .
"She woke up ! My lady is awake ! She is back... Thank goodness! Today is such a beautiful pleasant day ! We missed you so much " Reesha screamed her heart out seeing Alisha awake . Tears of joy swept through her face as other maids and nurses gathered .
"Where.. am I ? " Alisha's lips quivered as she spoke . The nurse quickly ran upto her .
"How are you feeling My lady ? You don't have to worry . You were just bedridden with fever. I'll give you medications and you will be just fine in no time ." She smiled and Alisha could recall the horrific moments that led to her present condition . She took a deep breath .
"I'm ... tired. I feel very sick. I can't move .. My throat feels.. dry .. ..No. . Is Zen Fine ? Where is he ?" She tugged the nurse's hand in worry .
"His Majesty is alright . Right now he is in a meeting . I'm sure he will see you as soon as he finishes it. He has been very desperate for your well being after all. Don't worry about yourself. It's just weakness . " She turned to the table to her right and poured some fresh orange juice in a glass. Adjusting her position she helped her drink. One of the guards were asked to inform the king of Alisha's condition .
Sanober entered in the hall of discussion . A round table had all ministers handling the external and internal affairs also officials in charge of maintainance and finance . Zen was hearing to their reports intently as Neil stood beside him. Noticing Sanober the messenger he approached her. After listening to her message he was filled with joy and couldn't supress the good news . He leaned to Zen and filled him with the good news. His lip stretched into a smile and looked at Neil as the latter nodded. He couldn't possibly leave in the middle of a round table discussion .
"Once this is over inform that I'll come to see her "
"Yes Your HIGHNESS !
"Mr. Grisham continue. "
"Yes Sir. Like I was just saying we will need fifty thousand Roji for the completion of the industrial project II ."
"That's currently running in Redrisia right ?"
"Yes Sir " The discussion continued for about 20 minutes and Zen didn't bother wasting any more time as he rushed to see Alisha . The door opened .
"Alisha !"
"Your Majesty ... " The caretaker stood and bowed before him. Looking at the sleeping figure of Alisha he sighed and took a seat beside her.
"Is she alright ? "
"She is doing much better Sir . She fell asleep probably it's one of the side effect of the medicines. "
"I see. "He places his hand on her forehead. " She seems to have a fever .
"Yes . She just regained her consciousness so it will take some time for her Highness to adjust . There is nothing to worry about Sir "
"Glad to know. " Alisha opened her eyes and peered around her room . The room was filled with flowers . Next to her she saw Zen also and Neil.
"Zen ... I .. I'm. .. sorry "
"What ? What are you apologising for ? Anyways I'm glad you are safe now . You had me worry so much. You need a lot of rest and also I'll make sure you have proper meals . "
"The flowers .... did you ..."
"Yes . I thought you will like it and may be it will help in speedy recovery ."
"Thanks . They are pretty ." She smiled . Her lips quivered as she spoke .
"All right . You take rest I'll come by again . " Alisha nodded as they both left . Zen was at ease . He was satisfied . Though he considered Erwin to be his enemy and loathed him he still was grateful for the help he provided . If not for the plant Alisha would have never regained consciousness. Still he wasn't planning on forgiving him or free him from his conviction . He involved himself with more work and refused to take time for leisure.
"Your Majesty . It's time for dinner"
"Oh yes . I'll be there in sometime Neil . " He replied with his eyes glued to the documents .
"I know you have been wanting to have meals with My lady . It's for sometime , things will all go back to normal ."
"I don't really think so. Things won't go back to normal . "
"Huh... What do you mean Sir ?"
"When you know , you know " His answer left Neil with bewildered thoughts . He couldn't comprehend him . Zen looks aside removing his glasses.
