Braedon looked at his own flesh hand. As he closed and opened his fist, he felt... incredibly weak. He didn't know why, but the taste of power he originally had in the dark tunnel felt several times more powerful than his current strength.

"What happened to me?" He closed his eyes and felt the power inside of him. After looking at his body carefully he noticed the feather seed and the heart seed had sprouted.

This occasion initiated a series of events that will reshape Braedon's life for, better or worse.

Braedon took in a deep breath, he felt pretty good despite everything. He quickly got up and out of the coffin. But when he stepped onto the ground his legs became shaky and he almost dropped onto his face if Yi Bai didn't quickly grab his arm.

When Yi Bai went to support him, he noticed something weird. Braedon felt extremely heavy, almost as if his entire body was made of lead. Yi Bai has to circulate some of his strength in order to keep Braedon from crashing into the ground.

"Thanks." Braedon stretched out his legs and heard a loud ~pop~ sound out. After doing the same for the other leg, he righted himself up. "Braedon, aren't you a little too heavy?" Braedon just looked at Yi Bai confused, "I'm quite light actually. Last time I checked I was only seventy two kilograms."

Yi Bai had a concerned look on his face as he looked at his thin arms, "Am I just becoming too old?" This thought worried him as he pulled out his phone and looked at his own face. While he didn't look old, Yi Bai's age easily passed the three hundred year mark.

He was sure he still had plenty of life left inside of him. After all a sixth realm cultivator like him could live up to a thousand years old. Was his lifespan draining rapidly? He wasn't afraid of death since he had been so close to throughout his life, he was afraid of leaving Yi Ling behind.

Yi Bai worriedly scanned his own life force. It felt strong and powerful like a tsunami, it didn't seem like it would fade soon. But if so then why did he have so much trouble lifting Braedon up. "Braedon, try walking a few steps around." Braedon thought the request was strange, but he did it anyway.

As soon as he took his first step, the ground beneath him collapsed and his legs was thrusted into the ground created a small hole, "What in the?" Braedon tried to push himself out of the the hole but instead his hand punched through the ground as well.

"What the?!"

With three of his limbs stuck in the ground the only thing he could do was turn his head to face the others, "I think the ground here is a little brittle..."

"No, it's just that you are too strong." Braedon's current condition was a rare case in the cultivation world. His body was giving off an unnaturally large amount of "heaven's force". Without proper control, he was using too much strength on simple tasks..

It was like a man who just needed to crack open an egg but instead he completely crushed it in his grip. Fine tuning needed to be done before he could control his strength completely.

Braedon took his time and slowly removed his arms from the new holes one by one. As the first one popped out, he moved on to the second one. Braedon acted as if he was in the middle of a surgery or sticking a string of thread through the eye of a needle.

Every movement was precise, every action without error. Once he finally got out of his predicament, he stepped over toward the others with sweat flowing down his back.

"I think I'm starting to get the hang of this!" As soon as Braedon said this, he slipped and created a new, cartoonish hole that was shaped like his body.

Yi Ling laughed at this and Braedon called out from the bottom, "This is not funny." Braedon finally got the hang of it after a while and was casually sitting on a wooden stool drinking some tea.

"So does do you really not know what happened to you at all?" Yi Ling asked this question with curiosity written all over her face. Braedon shook his head, "No, this is the first time this has ever happened to me."

Glode himself had his own theory but it was too silly to even consider. In mythology the phoenix dies in a show of flames and is reborn from the ashes. Glode thought that it was possible that what Braedon went through was a similar concept.

It seemed plausible but Braedon couldn't really picture it as the same thing. What kind of rebirth was that? Braedon wasn't complaining much though. His strength had increased by a huge margin and Glode said that he was even stronger than people at the same level as well.

Glode silently floated over and landed in Braedon's lap, "You seem a little too calm about this situation though Braedon." Braedon thought back to all of the time he spent in the darkness. Always fighting, always killing, and barely surviving.

"This is just a small matter, it should be okay to just let it go for now." His experience had been raised a great deal and his mental strength had grown even further.

Finally the talk about the main purpose of Yi Bai's visit came about and he brought Braedon a box of strange stones. Braedon dug through them cuiously, "What are these?"

Yi Ling looked at him as if he was an idiot, "You don't even know what soul crystals are? How clueless can you possibly be?" She smirked at him with a glint of mirth on her lips, "Lucky for you we are here to explain it."

"Soul crystals are the most common currency in the cultivation world. While things can be traded with other materials, soul crystals are the most well known. There are five tiers to soul crystals: classless, low, medium, high, and top grade crystals. Classless being the worst and top grade being the best."

Yi Ling picked up one of the crystals from the box, "Higher tiered crystals are worth twenty times more than their lower level counterpart. One low grade crystal is equivalent to twenty classless ones. And twenty low grade one equal up to one medium grade. Even though it is an important currency, it's better use is for cultivation."

She plopped the crystal back into the box and placed it upon the table, "There are plenty of medicines in the world that help with cultivating. The reason why crystals are preferred is because unlike crystals, medicine leave behind hard to remove impurities in the body. This can stunt your cultivation and make it harder for you to advance into future realms."

Braedon smiled as he watched Yi Ling explain all of this to him. He noticed that her eyes became brighter as she spoke, she became more passionate as she even started to go into detail on how soul crystals are made, but Yi Bai stopped her just in time.

She let out a deep breath as she calmed herself down, "Well you get the idea." She started to pant as she ran out of breath. Braedon chuckled to himself as he lifted up the box, which was surprisingly light.

"Thank you. I owe you for this." Braedon felt grateful for the crystals. Not only did he have the resources he needed to improve his Phoenix Breath, but now he had the crystals which could increase his strength without any drawbacks.

His future path for cultivating was set. It is like they say," you can't make money without spending it". He felt extremely happy at the moment and decided to do something strange.

Braedon's cultivation technique gave him a more powerful and calm heart and mind than other, but the cost was that his emotions would come out at full power once every breakthrough.

Even his newly gained experience couldn't stop this. If his emotion meter was usually at a five out of ten, then it was currently at a fifteen right now.

He walked up straight to Yi long and gave her a tight bear hug. Needless to say, he went home that day with a red palm print on his face and a possible concussion.

So far the last few days have seemed like one strange, silly event after another. But everything seemed to be going fantastic for him so Braedon walked home with a giant box in his hand and a smile on his face. A painful smile, but a smile nonetheless.

Floating above the air watching all of that fiasco happen was a single man though. Flying wasn't an uncommon thing for cultivators to do, but most of them needed to use a bonded weapon, which was usually built after becoming a fourth realm cultivator.

Yi Ling was excited about this the most. Once she was completely healed, she could attempt to break through into the fourth realm again, the realm of overlords.

Bonded weapons were weapons used during a fourth stage tribulation. In it the weapons gain their own consciousness, of course not an extremely advanced one like Glode's. They acted as almost partners for cultivators and could even grow stronger with their master if they were made of the right materials.

The thing about this was that it was still flying support. This mysterious man was floating, with no help whatsoever. It was said that this ability was only gained by someone who has reached the eight realm. The realm of divinities. He watched as Braedon walked away with the box full of crystals and Yi Bai as he scolded Yi Ling for her rough actions. But most importantly, he watched as Glode floated off into the distance following Braedon from above.

His eyes followed Glode clearly and it was obvious that he could see Glode. He lifted his left hand and opened a gate in the air. As he passed through it, he peered at the object in his right hand.

It was a blood red orb.
