Braedon was not having a good time. He felt like a caged bird being poked at with an iron rod. The beams of light from the man's staff never made direct contact with him, it would scratch his body and would burn his skin. Small spots all over his body looked like fried pork.

Luckily enough for Braedon, the attacks were powerful but slow. But Braedon knew that they were just playing with him in reality. This was the perfect situation for him though. As long as they kept underestimating him, he could eventually deal out a killing blow.

The young master watched her subordinate play around with their target. He became irritated at the sight and said to the man, "Stop playing around and finish him off, we ave a job to do!" The man smiled plainly at his master, "Just a few more minutes, pleeeeaaaassssse."

"Don't act like a child, it's gross." The young master was tired of his little games. Despite how he acted, the staffed man knew that his master's patience was wearing thin. He stopped shooting beams and placed the butt of the staff onto the ground.

Braedon stopped running around the room and looked at the two in suspicion. He thought to himself while taking one more step back, "What are they planning now? Have they decided to get serious?" It seems things were about to become more dangerous for him.

His mind raced as he tried to come up with a plan.

He considered using the skill he used to defeat the other assassin before, but that would only buy him a few seconds at most.

Suddenly, Braedon felt the earth shake and tremble and odd stone hands popped out of the ground and tried to pull themselves up. Humanoid creatures with no face stepped out of the ground and slowly shambled towards Braedon's direction.

It was like seeing a zombie movie except the zombies were made of stone. Braedon thought that they didn't seem that dangerous since they were so slow, that was until one of them launched itself off the ground and shot right in front of him.

Braedon panicked and fell backward onto the ground.

This actually saved him as the stone golem flew overhead and rolled onto the floor behind him.

He rubbed his own neck at the terrifying thought of what would happen if that thing crashed into him head-on.

The answer was...head off. Braedon got up and jumped aside for fear of the others golems doing the same thing. There were five of them in total and each of them were in position to fling themselves at him.

Braedon placed his hand on the ground. He used all of his strength to push himself off the ground and fly to the man with the staff. The man was surprised by his actions and held up his weapon to block Braedon, but Braedon just flew passed them.

He turned back to find Braedon heading straight toward his master. But instead of panicking, the man just gave off a smirk, "Such a fool."

Braedon flipped around and landed in front of the the person the staffed man called young master. To be honest, Braedon was aiming for the staffed man but he pushed himself in the wrong direction and ended up here.

He pulled back his fist and launched it straight toward his opponents face. The guy stopped it with his bare hands and Braedon felt something rise up and crush his groin.

"The crotch is the weak spot of any man. It is a sad thing to watch though." The young master had his feet up between Braedon legs and he pulled his arm back to give Braedon a good, strong punch.

Braedon felt the gauntlet smash into his face and he flew backwards about twenty meters. The young master laughed to himself, "I believe you call that a Fatality?" He walked forward to see if he could find Braedon mangled body. Once he Escher the area where Braedon landed, he noticed something strange.

Nothing was there. The body could not be found.

The young master's brows scrunched together worriedly before a shout was heard from behind him.

The young master turned around to find Braedon falling from the ceiling and clatter onto the ground. A thump and crack sound could be clearly heard and even the young master felt a little worried.

"Are you okay?"

Braedon stood up and patted himself down, "I'm doing great! Never felt better." He gave off a bright smile that seemed very awkward in the serious battle they were just having.

Braedon held out his knife in front of him and whispered to himself, "That was new...but useful." He ran up in a full out sprint toward the young master and as the master pulled his arm back to intercept the knife, Braedon disappeared.

Everyone at the scene looked at this in confusion. Zan Fu and the others had no idea what happened to Braedon and the assassins were wondering if he ran away or something.

Then from the shadow of the young master, a hand reached out and placed him in a choke hold. The young master reacted quickly by swinging his arms back and s ruching Braedon's sides.

The both stepped away from each other and stared at one another.

The young master looked at Braedon in shock, "What was that?"

Braedon smiled coyly and said, "I call it shadow step." When Braedon was in the tunnel, he discovered something about his body.

It seemed that his body had become something similar to a game's character. This was only in the idea of skills. Turns out there were certain conditions that he could meet to obtain unique skills. Unlike how others needed to train and study a skill, he could learn it if he met the requirements and conditions.

Obtaining the knife and fighting with it gave him a knife technique. But fighting with it, killing with it, and using the knife technique constantly while being in darkness filled out another condition.

Assassination.

A skill that combined with his knife techniques. His only ability in it was "shadow step" it allowed Braedon to briefly step into someone's shadow and reappear in a different shadow.

Braedon found this funny, the assassins were about to be assassinated by him! Of course using this skill tired him out somewhat and he could only use it three more times at most.

Braedon tried to make himself not look tired and raised his knife once more, "If you leave now and no longer bother us, I can spare you. But if you wish to continue, don't blame me for being cruel."

The young master scoffed at Braedon's words, "You think I'm foolish enough not to noticed your heavy breathing?" His words frightened Braedon a bit but he didn't let the confident look leave his face.

"I can finish you off with the strength I have left."

The young master squinted his eyes at Braedon's words, "Then this just became a lot more interesting."

As the two sides gathered together and prepared for one last battle, a raging roar could be heard coming from deeper into the dungeon.

As the two sides looked at where the sound came from, their eyes grew as big as saucers.

A gigantic beast with green scales, a slithery tongue that released wisps on smoke, and sharp claws walked forward. The thing slits it had for pupils stared at them as if it was looking directly at their souls.

A chill went down the spine of all who stood there as killing intent could be felt coming from the creature.

"Is that a-"

"Holy-"

"F*ck"

Braedon and the young master looked at each other with the same idea in mind.

"Truce?"

"Truce?"

The random development had them feeling odd but right now they had no choice.

They were facing a dragon.
