Braedon pulled out a phone and made a call to Zan Fu. He heard two rings before a voice called out at the other end, "Hello? Braedon, do you need something?" Braedon told Zan Fu to quickly come to his house, he had something to show him. Braedon was still a little far from his house, so he sped up to arrive to his house a bit quicker.

When he got there, Zan Fu was already at his front door. Braedon quickly invited him in and prepared some drinks for them. "So, what did you call me over for?" Zan Fu pulled out a a small bag of snacks from his pockets and started to munch on them.

After giving Zan Fu some refreshments, Braedon popped the coin out of his pockets and showed it to Zan Fu. Zan Fu looked at the coin curiously and with an impressed look said, "Pure gold? That is worth quite the sum but is that all you wanted to show me?"

Braedon wagged his finger in Zan Fu's face, "You underestimate me, my friend. This is not just a pure gold coin, but it's a genuine dungeon key."

Zan Fu, stared at the coin in Braedon's hand and then he stared at Braedon. Suddenly, he released out a loud laugh, "Hahahahaha!" Braedon, on the other hand, looked at him with an annoyed expression, "What is so funny?"

It took a minute before Zan Fu could calm himself down, "Braedon, you only learned what dungeons were yesterday! Now you're saying you found a dungeon key? I'm sorry but I have to tell you, dungeons aren't that easy to find. If you bought this from someone, I think you were ripped off!"

Zan Fu continued to laugh at Braedon's "misfortune". Braedon just gave off a smirk and said, "You don't believe me? Okay then follow me and I will show you of the majesty that is my luck!"he stood up and dragged Zan Fu outside. Braedon once more took the shortcut and arrived in the, oddly unpopulated, area where the cavern was.

Once Zan Fu arrived he started to laugh even harder, "HAHAHAHAHA!" Braedon raised up his arms in exasperation, "What so funny this time!" Zan Fu pointed at the cavern, "It's a cave! I understand the story now! You found a gold coin in a cave and assumed it was a dungeon!"

Zan Fu bent over his knees and laughed until he was out of breath. Braedon just shook his head and dragged him deeper into the cave. He held the coin in his hands while Zan Fu still chuckled behind him. The chuckle soon died down when Zan Fu noticed that the deeper they went into the cave, the brighter the coin became.

As they got to the back of the cavern, Zan Fu and Braedon had a serious expression on their faces. They looked at each other and nodded. Braedon took the last few steps and the floor formed the steps once more. The familiar pressure washed over them and sweat starting to flow down Zan Fu's back.

"I guess I owe you an apology. There is no doubt, this is the feeling of a dungeon... *sigh* and not only that, it seems to be a high ranking one as well."

Braedon looked over with curiosity on his face, "High ranking?"

Both of them moved out of the cave and started to walk back to Braedon's house.

"Yeah, basically as my parents explained, dungeons usually contain old artifacts of powerful cultivators of the past. Countless years ago, the"heaven's force" that could be absorbed was more abundant in the world and was easier to take in then it is now. There is less now because a good bit of "heaven's force" was cut off from the world." Zan Fu started to rub his chin as he thought of his next words.

"So, in the past the average cultivator then could be considered an expert now. That's why it was believed that the more ancient looking a dungeon, the older it was. The dungeons we usually find are palaces or tomb, but this is a cave! Something that cavemen would live in. With luck, this means that this was far enough back that houses weren't really a popular thing. While that might sound like it's a bad thing, the possible artifacts came from a period of true experts."

Zan Fu enviously stared at Braedon and his treasure, "So, why did you show me this anyway? Did you just want to show off your new found wealth?"

Braedon shook his head, crossed his arms, and smiled, "I plan to sell it to your family." This caused Zan Fu to stop in his tracks and look at him. For the first time in a long time, a serious expression appear on his face.

Braedon creased his brow and asked if he was okay. Zan Fu simply said that he needed to talk to his parents before quickly running off by himself. Braedon didn't know what made Zan Fu react so seriously, he figure that this would be a big thing for Xan Fu, but he imagined that Zan Fu would be more happy rather than how he just reacted.

But his plans didn't change. He planned to visit Zan Fu's house once more the next day after his classes were over and see if he could get some resources from this trade.

The next day went by extremely slowly. Braedon wanted to leave as soon as possible. Especially since if the dungeon was discovered quickly, it could get messy for him.

As the day passed, Braedon noticed that they sky was getting darker. It looked like a thunderstorm. He remembered that the forecast for that day said that there would be clear skies, so Braedon was worried if it would rain. He did not bring an unbrella, this could impede his visit to Zan Fu's home.

The clouds got darker throughout the day and lightning could even be seen forming above the clouds.

The day ended with Braedon, who was glad that there was no rain, making his way to his destination. Curiosity overtaking him as he wondered what he could get for the dungeon. Even if he received something that wasn't that great, if he could get maybe a weapon or fighting skill, he would leave happy.

Several miles away from where Braedon was heading, but still comparatively closer to his house, two people were standing in an empty building directly under the storm. The old man and young lady were looking up as lightning bolts snaked across the sky.

The old man looked to the lady at his right, "Are you sure you are ready for this Ling'er?" The lady shrugged her shoulders and said, "We are too far away from home to get the necessary preparation. Either I can do it here, or fail on the way."

The old man silently nodded as he took a few steps back. The lightning started to condense into large, powerful bolts. He whispered a prayer to himself, "Please, stay safe."

For the next few minute, they rained down upon the young lady and old man's wish, unfortunately, did not come true.
