An unsurprised sigh escaped from Braedon's mouth, "So, you have noticed?" Kai Jun smiled pridefully, "I know you and your abilities too well to not understand your full capabilities."

With a nod, Braedon held his arms out and with his feather in hand, he began to take in then release deep breaths.

Kai Jun was one of, if not, the most knowledgeable person in the world. His long life had allowed him to witness many things that even Divinities would be shocked of. Thanks to his huge lifespan, he had developed the ability to watch several events occur at once.

He stood in front of Braedon and allowed him to continue with his preparation, "Don't worry, I'll buy you some time. Just whatever you are doing, do it quickly." There was only one skill that Braedon had that could turn this situation around.

A skill that he should already be familiar with.

Steam began to float out of Braedon's body as he squatted into a horse stance while still holding his arms out. The steam kept growing thicker, until it completely hid Braedon from sight.

Then all of a sudden the steam lit ablaze and a holy pillar of fire stood at here without moving a single inch.

Qi Bao couldn't help but release a snort at this sight, "It seems like your friend chose the easy route out. How unfortunate, that you won't die as easily." Kai Jun just ignored his words while his eyes sparkled brightly at the sight, "Braedon, if you are choosing to do that in your current state, then I should at least try to protect you a little shouldn't I?"

Kai Jun stepped up before Qi Bao and with a smirk he stated, "Trust me when I say that no one here plans on killing ourselves."

This annoyed him greatly because he was expected Kai Jun to be in distraught at his friend's fate. Qi Bao then had a sudden realization. This ma before him seemed too calm, as if he knew exactly what the other person was doing.

"Are they preparing something to fight against me? But what could they possibly do to harm me in my current state? No, I shouldn't grow cocky, better be safe rather than sorry."

Just as he was about to run in and back Braedon in half with his saber, a swift kick from Kai Jun aim for his side came in, "I already know what you're thinking. I could see it in your eyes, but you've forgotten about one thing. Standing between you and him is me!"

After saying this, numerous amount of balls of light began to pop up and float around Kai Jun. each one shined with a brilliant splendor, as if they were stars in the night sky. One float along a wobbly path and Kai Jun quickly walked over and looked at it causing a sudden flash to blind Qi Bao.

"{Tiger Raiment}!" With a sudden shout, a surge of power bursted out of Kai Jun's body as something began wrapping itself around him. After the flash subsided, the revelation of what Kai Jun did became immediately obvious.

Jingyi Lei looked at him with intrigued and a bit of fear, while Qi Bao just had a confused expression on his face. This was because Kai Jun was now currently wearing a tiger striped dress!

"Is that a-"

"It's armor, nothing else but armor!" Qi Bao couldn't even finish his question before quickly being interrupted by a blushing Kai Jun, "What I'm wearing isn't important though. What is important is what this can do to you."

Kai Jun then dropped onto all fours and pounced at Qi Bao like a feline would to a mouse. Qi Bao stepped to the side to avoid the charge but Kai Jun just stood up and swung his fingers towards his head.

His hands were covered in some sort of glove that had sharp, claw-like blades on the finger tips. When Qi Bao noticed this, he quickly ducked down in order to avoid the claws aimed at his eyes, then he spun around and kicked Kai Jun in the ribs.

The impact caused Kai Jun to be knocked aside and bounce on the ground twice before regaining his balance. He brought himself back on all fours and instead began running circles around his opponent.

Qi Bao tried to swing his saber at Kai Jun as much as he could, but his running speed was much rather than Qi Bao's slashes. Kai Jun then moved close up to use his claws once more. Qi Bao did whatever he could to escape the attacks by moving himself left, right, up, and down.

Finally he saw his chance. When a strike flew toward his face, he was finally able to catch Kai Jun's wrist within his grasp. He stopped the arm's movements just in time as well.

"Caught you." He raised up his blade and prepared to slice into Kai Jun's head when suddenly he heard, "Actually I caught you!"

The claws on Kai Jun's finger tips extended and pierced into Qi Bao's face, stabbing into one of his eyes, "Argh!" Quickly letting go and swinging his blade toward Kai Jun, he released a beam of power that hit him square in his chest knocking him back and causing blood to be coughed out.

Qi Bao wasn't doing much better as he could no longer see out of one eye, "Bastard, ill skin you alive!"

Kai Jun was about to make a well thought out and witty retort (he wasn't, it was lame) when he felt his power suddenly drain from his body and his tiger dress- I mean armor disappeared.

"Crap, times up." In order for him to save up his strength for the inevitable battle with the entity, Kai Jun actually placed a restriction on himself to limit the amount of power he could use. The {Tiger Raiment} was one of his weaker transformations but still it was something that drained him of strength every time he used it.

As such he could only use all of his orb armors for a few second and nothing more.

"Looks like your little dress is out of power! I guess now is the perfect time to strike isn't it?!" A mad look appeared in Qi Bao's eyes as he began walking closer towards Kai Jun, it then a voice called out, "Actually, I think it's the perfect time for me to appear."

Qi Bao looked up toward the direction of the voice, while Kai Jun smiled like a prick.

Braedon stepped out of the flame only to reveal that he too was covered in armor. Braedon's armor was a jet-black rerebrace protecting his upper arms while blazing gold wrist guards and greaves protected his forearms and shins. A black breastplate with intricate golden markings covered almost everything from below his neck to his groin and his thighs were guarded by a sleek, shiny cuisse.

There was no helmet covering his head but instead a golden crown sitting atop of him. Braedon's golden eyes stared deep into Qi Bao's soul as he spoke in a harmonious voice, "You evil being who has polluted this beautiful world, pay for you sins by burning sighing my holy flames!"

And finally the thing that made Qi Bao step back in fear, awe, and reverence was the giant flaming avatar that stood behind Braedon staring down at him as if it was looking upon an ant.

Qi Bao was confident that with his current strength, he wouldn't be killed by even someone in the sixth realm. He definitely wouldn't win the battle, but he could at least escape.

Right now though, he was getting the overwhelming feeling that he would fail if he tried to escape.

It was as if a god had descended upon the world to judge him for his wrong doings. He knew that he had lost the battle and collapsed onto the floor, "I beg of you, oh divine being! Have mercy on me."

Braedon shook his head pitifully as he pointed his finger forward. The feather had disappeared from his hands but this didn't mean he couldn't access its powers in his current form.

The phoenix apparition lowered its head until it was level with his hand. The creatures mouth opened and it took in a deep breath while a small ball of flames formed onto Braedon's fingertip.

Waves of power exuded from the ball and Kai Jun screamed out quickly, "Wait! We need him alive!"

Braedon turned his head over slowly and responded in a simple and passive voice, "Do not fear. I am well aware of this you tranny."

He turned back his head away from Kai Jun and only heard the words, "Motherfu-" before giving his full attention to Qi Bao.

"You ask for forgiveness yet you've done nothing to deserve it, why should I grant it to you?" Braedon asked this question in a way that made it evident that Qi Bao's answer would decide his fate.

"Y-you said you wanted information right? I can give it to you! In fact I can give you a lot of things. Pills, slaves, even objects that are forbidden! They can all be yours if you release me."

Braedon silently shook his head as he placed his fingers gently into Qi Bao's forehead, "You need to understand what you have done."

Smoke and the scent of burned flesh started to float into the air as Qi Bao screamed out with tears in his eyes. Despite what it looked like, these tears weren't from the pain of having his head burnt.

He was screaming because when Braedon used the {Eyes of heaven and earth}, he could see an endless amount of spirits floating around Qi Bao. Each and every one of them was there due to the anger, regret, and remorse they felt after being refined and absorbed by him.

Right now he had to deal with the pain they've experienced as well as the hatred they hold for him, and this was driving him mad.

Finally in the end, he couldn't take it anymore and lost his consciousness. Braedon too felt his armor begin to dissipate and he fell backwards from exhaustion. Kai Jun quickly ran up to catch him within his embrace, "Jingyi Lei, are you okay?"

The young teen with low self-esteem and looked over and nodded, "I-I am alright. Is big bro Braedon okay?"

"He is exhausted right now, so he needs time to recuperate. Do me a favor and pick up the boy and bring him with us. Can you do it?"

"W-what if he wakes up?" Kai Jun looked over at the body laying there on the floor with foam dripping out of his mouth, "That won't happen anytime soon. Quickly now, let's go!"

"Y-yes sir!"
