While the war between the club and the Xan Clan was going on, Phoen was in seclusion training himself. He felt as if his body was not n fire, which was something that should not bother him much, but this type of heat was incredibly painful. He had never felt such a fire inside of him before and he loved it!

No, he was not a masochist but the pain that was taking over him was a sign that his training was working. He felt his power increase at such a rapid rate, he began to become hysterical. He held himself back of course and closed his eyes to begin his meditation.

Cultivating for Phoen was different than it was for most cultivators. In order to increase the strength of his body he had to take the "heaven's force" from inside of his soul and allow it to flow and bond with him. The problem with that was that his soul had a restriction placed upon it that kept him from absorbing "heaven's force". So he needed to find another method of strengthening his body.

That is where the stone he stole from the Zan Clan came in. A rare and powerful object that came from a time unknown from the rest of the world, a Soul Prison.

Just as it's name suggested, trapped inside the hieroglyphs covered stone was an inprisoned soul. Apparently, many year ago these stones where used to capture the enemies of cultivators. The use was that it acted as a secondary tool to absorb "heaven's force". In other words, the soul inside of the stone would be forced to absorb "heaven's force" and what ever it obtained would be given to the owner of the stone. It was a cruel but efficient way of becoming stronger for beings in the past.

Phoen could not use it to empower his soul like most people would, instead be used it to strengthen his body. Mixing this with the strange blue energy he produces, his power rose like a rocket shooting into the air. He excitedly looked at his own palm and snapped his fingers together.

A loud ~crack~ came out and the wall directly in front of him had a crack form in it, "How interesting." He stood back up and unleashed his full power for only a second before he brought it back in.

Right now, he was stuck at a bottle neck and could not absor anymore power into his body. It was strange, he should've been able to go even further without stop, so why did the absorption rate suddenly take a sharp dive?

Phoen held out his hand and a single orb appeared out of nowhere directly in front of him. "Now what was your name again... ah yes, Glode. Tell me Glode, why can't I become any stronger?"

He recieved no response to his question, in fact it seemed almost as if Glode had no consciousness to respond with. "I almost forgot that I sealed away that annoying little consciousness of yours. I guess you can't answer me either, can you?"

Phoen places Glode down and just sat there thinking to himself for a while. He decided it was time to leave his seclusion. But before he did that, he had some free time to explore something.

Even though Glode was in his possession for a long period of time, Phoen never really took the time to inspect and see Glodes condition. He was so focused on empowering himself, that he actually did forget about Glode for a period of time. Now that he could not increase his power any longer, he decided to take this time and check up on the orb.

He allowed his strange blue energy to leave his body and enter into the orb. He looked at every nook and cranny of the orb without stop for a few minutes. Phoen was scanning every part of Glode without much thought, until suddenly his energy shot back into his body at the speed of lightning.

"Huh?" Phoen reaches out and picked up Glode once more into his palm. While rubbing it gently, he quietly whispered to himself, "There is an area of the orb that contains a dark, empty space. It feels dangerous and no matter how much energy I send into the area, it is just sucked up and disappears. It's a endless void that destroys or absorbs anything that comes near it, like a black hole."

A smirk appeared onto Phoen's face as he said, "It seems like the orb isn't complete, so I didn't get the cultivation technique. The one I, or the other Braedon, was training was probably a makeshift technique made out of random skills found nearby...how interesting. It seems a scavenger hunt is about to commence!"

~~~~~~~~~~
Braedon pushes his fist out and punched one of his opponents in the face, while Kai Jun and Blue got together to crush one of their heads between the two's fists.
The four people got pushed back directly into the middle of one of the armies. The men around them began to attack them when they noticed the four enterbinto their ranks.
Jingyi Lei just kept dodging every attack that went his way and pulled throwing knives out of his pants. He did not focus too much on a specific opponent and just threw them everywhere, shockingly enough each knife hit a target. But unfortunately,, each knife struck a target.
"Gah! Jingyi Lei, watch where you throwing those things!" One ifbthe knives were sticking out of the stump that was once Blue's arm. As another person ran up with an axe and tried to swing it down towards him, Blue ripped the knife out of his stump and shoved it into the man's neck.
After his opponent's death, he picked up the axe and tossed it in Braedon's direction. It slammed into the back head of someone who was sneaking up behind him. "Watch your fear! These guys are sh*t in direct confrontation, but they are extremely deadly if they can sneak up one you. Don't forget, they work in an organization consisting of mostly assassins!"
Kai Jun was swinging around a flail, which he stole from another guy, and he smashed it into one person's chest. A resounding ~crack~ cake out and the person collapsed onto the ground coughing up some blood.
"What is going on here, who are these two armies?" Kai Jun screamed over in Blue's direction, expecting an answer to return quickly.
"The army that is the closest to us is the boss's personal army that he keeps hidden away. They are only deployed if the club is under attack by an incredibly dangerous enemy! That enemy is more than likely the other army, but I don't know who they are!"
Braedon, "It doesn't matter who they are, the enemy of my enemy are my friend. But if they choose to attack us, we WILL fight back." Braedon flipped over two other people and landed behind them. Before they could turn around, he wrapped his hands around their heads and smashed them together.
Jingyi Lei continued to throw knives, more carefully this time, while confidently escaping the grasp of anyone who got near him.
Braedon, "Jingyi Lei has really improved his combat capabilities!"
Kai Jun, "Of course, who the hell do you think trained him?"
Blue, "Less talking more fighting guys. The crippled here has more kills than the all of you so far!"
Braedon, Kai Jun, And Jingyi Lei in unison, "Not for long."
~~~~~~~~~~

Zan Fu summoned a random blade from his inventory and swung down onto one of the enemy soldiers with it. He spun around quickly and released a beam of light, slicing three people behind him in half.

Shu Rong wasn't doing so bad herself as she kept jumping from one opponent to another and giving them small cuts and gashes all over their bodies. This didn't injure them much, but it did hinder their movements just enough for Zan Fu to come in and deal the finishing blow.

"Not too shabby!"

"Shut up Zan Fu, if it wasn't for me you wouldn't have even killed five people by now."

The two people laughed out loud while covered in blood and guts from the fallen enemy forces. The battle was evenly matched with both sides having equal losses in strength. Although one of the Zan Clan's soldiers were many times stronger than the club's army, they had several people fight one person at once. It always slowly becoming increasingly difficult to see who the victor of the war might be.

"Hey! What going on over there?" Shu Rong pointed to an area of the enemy forces far away, where it looked like a huge fight was going on. The problem was that none of the cultivators on their side have been able to reach that far within the enemy's ranks yet, so Shu Rong wasn't sure what was causing the disturbance.

"I don't know, but whatever or whoever it is, they are causing one hell of a ruckus. Let's go find out what's going on!" Zan Fu smiled as he said this and began hacking and slashing his way over towards the disturbance.

"Let's go!"
