Zan Fu looked down at himself while sliding his hand across his chest. The armor that his father, Zan Rong, has given him was strapped o to his body. When he first recieved it, it was very wide and saggy like a cloak. But after he wrapped it around himself, the armor began to reshape itself into a design that was suited to him.
It covered his entire arms and neck while pressing around his chest and upper back. It was extremely tight and kind of hard to breathe in but Zan Fu didn't mind this too much. Oddly enough, there were wide areas that the armor didn't protect. It didn't cover his abdominals at and and even most of his back was unprotected. There were two thin strands of cloth that hung from his side and it offered him some basic security.
He found the weakness of the armor a bit strange, why would something from a time of legends be so obviously flawed? He could not think of an answer for this question.
Zan Fu decided that he needed to test out the armor's capabilities in battle, so he requested for Shu Rong to come over and have a small mock battle with him. The two people clashed together in a flurry of stabs and strikes. Every time Shu Rong Aimee for the area where the armor didn't protect him, the two strands would move on Ed and wrap themselves around that area. It did that for everything except for his back, which was still constantly left uncovered.
Although discovering this was sort of a pleasant surprise for Zan Fu, he still couldn't help but be disappointed by the fact that the suit didn't protect everything. But everything in the world had a weakness, and he guessed that the back area was the suit's weakness.
While Zan Fu was focusing on how he should fight with the armor on, Voice, who was constantly watching over what Zan Fu was doing, noticed that the suit's strand would reach for his injuries sometimes like it was drawn toward something on Zan Fu.
He didn't think that this was too important at the time though, so Voice didn't mention it at all. But he couldn't help but feel as if the armor held some sort of secret.
~~~~~Minutes Before The Madness~~~~~
Zan Fu caught Shu Rong in his arms. After the boss had knocked her back he ran forward and was barely able to grab her before her body was smashed into the floor.
A beam of light was shot in their direction and Zan Fu just got ahold of Shu Rong. He was about to place her down, turn around, and use the part of the armor guarding his chest to block the beam. But there was not enough time so before he could take action, the beam slashed him across the back.
His muscles and arms clenched up from the pain so Zan Fu could not move them after that. He couldn't release Shu Rong from his grasp so he decided to just grit his teeth and deal with what was coming next.
Zan Fu focused too much on dealing with the pain of the attacks to pay attention to his surroundings, but Voice was still carefully checking out the environment. He saw a few things that almost no one else noticed. Like for example, the seventy orbs flying around Kai Jun had begun to react to something. The claw was giving off a slight hint of life force. And most importantly of all, the strands of the armor hanging at Zan Fu's side we're reaching toward the blood dripping down his back. Every drop of blood was absorbed without missing a single one.
As the armor absorbed whatever it could, the a change was brought upon it. And hidden from plain sight, it was as if it's eyes had been opened.

Braedon shot in to grab Shu Rong and Blue away from the boss. He looked back in shock to find that there was barely any harm done to him after Blue's sneak attack.
"How is it possible that there is almost no damage done to him!?" Braedon couldn't believe what he was seeing as he screamed toward Kai Jun.
Kai Jun grimaced as he said, "Just as I feared, he was fully aware of our 'sneak' attack. He just didn't care because he was confident in blocking th attack." After answering Braedon's question, Kai Jun brought out all of his seventy orbs and made them float around him. He commanded Braedon to heal up Shu Rong while he went ahead and slapped Blue awake.
"Wake up! We have sh*t to do." Blue's eyes shot wide open as Kai Jun lifted him onto his feet. He quickly explained to Blue the situation they were facing and for him to collect himself. He left a dazed Blue there in order to head over to Zan Fu and check up on his condition.
Zan Fu had finally finished his shouting session and was standing there facing the boss while breathing heavily.
"Zan Fu, what are you doing?" Kai Jun tried to grab him by the shoulder but before he could make contact with him, a powerful burst of energy erupted from the suit he was wearing and knocked Kai Jun's hand aside.
He looked at Zan Fu in shock, "That armor, it's-!" He didn't finish his sentence as just then the boss launched himself over and swiped his blade toward Zan Fu's head. Kai Jun forcefully broke through the armor's defenses and grabbed the idiotic friend of Braedon and dragged him back toward the the others.
The sword barely missed them as a bit of Zan Fu's bangs were sliced off of his hair. He dragged the nonreactive boy over to Braedon and threw him onto the ground, "Fix. Friend. Now!" Braedon was about to check Zan Fu's status, but before he could a hand grabbed onto his wrist.
"Braedon, How is Shu Rong's condition." Zan Fu asked his pal this with a expression of pure hatred on his face. Braedon looked over to her and answered, "She is doing okay, I healed up almost everything that was fatal and on her hand is a ring that contains an incredible amount of energy. It seems that this ring will help heal up the rest of her wounds with or without my help."
Zan Fu looked over to Shu Rong's hand and saw the ring that he gave her as a present so long ago. The burning fire of rage inside of him began to calm down as he gave off a calm and, "Looks like Shu Rong finally figured out what was so special about the ring." A passive look returned to his face as he stood up once more in order to face the boss.
"Are we going to die here?" Zan Fu looked around at the others and turned his head so that he was facing Braedon. Looking into braedons eyes, all he could see was confidence and trust. He was a completely different person than that normal old pal of his that he knew but from so long ago. Something about him gave Zan Fu some more confidence and with a smile he faced the boss with a newfound determination, "Seriously Braedon, what did you do that made you change so much?"
Braedon looked over confused, "What are you talking about?"
"Don't worry about it." Zan Fu stepped up side by side with the others. He cracked his knuckles and neck while holding up the claw. He was sort of tempted to merge his arm with the claw again, but there was a possibility of him draining all of his energy while failing the merge at the same time. He didn't know what to do and he hated it.
"Then why don't you try out my plan?" All of a sudden, Voice called out in Zan Fu's head and told him something. Zan Fu raised up his eyebrows in surprise while saying, "I thought you didn't know anything about that. So where is this information coming from now?"
"I promise you, I don't know where this information came from. It just popped into my head all of a sudden." Voice explained this to him in a begging tone of voice but Zan Fu shook his head in distrust, "We are going to have a nice long chat after this."
He did klnkt know what to make of the plan that Voice gave him, but he figured that it was his best option. Zan Fu told the others to step back for a second and he ran in at full sprint toward the boss. He swung the claw around, up, down, sideways, horizontal, and etc.
The boss avoided every strike he gave off and mirthfully laughed at what he thought was Zan Fu's pathetic attempt as his death throes. But as time continued, avoiding the strikes began to become harder and harder as Zan Fu's moves began to become more quick and erratic.
The boss finally began to struggle a bit so he brought his sword down and it collided with the claw. The two people were suddenly brought face to face and the boss looked deep into Zan Fu's glowing blue eyes.
At the same time, Kai Jun turned over to Jingyi Lei and Blue, "Remember those two orbs I gave the two of you?" They nodded, "Well I think that it's best if you finally began using them." Blue and Jingyi Lei looked at each other in understanding as the orbs floated behind them suddenly.
And in unison they screamed, "Activate!"
"{Cloud Bow}!"
"{Bear Claws}!"
Jingyi Lei's orb summoned out a beat lyrically Karen pure white bow without any arrows. A wave of information flowed through his head as he pulled the string back and an arrow suddenly formed from thin air, "This is awesome!" He realized the arrow and it slashed through the bosses cheek causing him to ouch Zan Fu away and move back a few steps.
Blue recieved strange claws that were connected to his fingers and a layer of aura formed around him. He felt invincible and when he charged in to attack the opponent, the boss swung his sword toward his shoulder and Blue was able to knock it aside. But the force of the swing made him fall back a bit but none the less the defense of the aura was incredible.
Braedon and Kai Jun nodded towards each other as Braedon allowed his {Eyes of heaven and earth} to activate and assess the battlefield. And Kai Jun pulled the golden ring ", that he stole from the museum a while back, out of his clothing and carefully laid it on top of his head.
A golden glow shot out of his body as his powers began to grow at a rapid rate, "First level restriction, released!" He ran in at full sprint and brought out his whip, but he didn't use it like he normally would.
Instead he used it as if it was an extension of his body part and not a weapon that could wrap around things. He continuously smacked the boss around with his whip while Braedon screamed out warnings of attacks that he could see using his eyes.
And with that, the real battle had begun!
