The battlefield was in complete and utter chaos. Braedon was having some difficulty keeping up with everything that was happening, but he kept himself steady none the less. He screeched out warnings to Kai Jun and Blue whenever he saw the boss about to release one of his powerful beam attacks.
This allowed the two people to escape any fatal damage that may occur, but it didn't mean that they weren't injured. Blue tried to dodge a beam that was directed towards him neck, but while he was distracted by that, the boss's fist swung around and slammed into his side.
Kai Jun would move and swung his leg at boss's head at that moment, but the enemy ducked down in order to avoid the overhead kick. While he was ducked down, Jingyi Lei shot an arrow into his knee and it pierced through with a ~thwip~ sound.
The boss didn't react much as he grabbed the arrow, and snapped it in half. Because it was made out of energy and not something physical, it just dissipated in his hand. But not before the arrow released some pieces of itself into the boss's body.
Jingyi Lei gave off a smirk as he continued to shoot a few more arrows at the boss. None of them actually went through him after the first one, but they were all freakishly precise. The boss would have gone over there and killed Jingyi Lei within seconds, if it wasn't for Zan Fu suddenly appearing and attacking him with even more ferocity than usual.
He swung the claw withenough force to even put pressure onto the boss, but he noticed something about Zan Fu. When he paid close attention, he noticed that Zan Fu's life force was whittling away slowly. And understanding dawned upon the boss. Whatever technique Zan Fu was using, it was using his life as a catalyst to increase his strength.
This meant that he was on a time limit, so all he had to was stall long enough for Zan Fu to be taken out. The boss clashed with Zan Fu head on and the two people came to a standstill, but Blue moved in and used his shoulder to tackle directly into the boss.
The boss was surprised by this sudden attack since he was too focused on Zan Fu. He felt his feet leave the ground as Blue charged into a wall and smashed him against it. The boss release out a cough as he lifted up his sword and stabbed down into Blue's back. The defenses of the {Bear Claws} kept any fatal wounds from getting through, but it still put an extreme strain onto his body.
It felt as if his spine was broken in half and Blue slammed straight into the ground while coughing up blood. Jingyi Lei quickly pulled back the bow and released three arrows in quick succession. Just as the boss was about to stab into Blue again, the three arrows were shot at him and he was forced to focus on his defense over offense.
He knocked away the arrows as Kai Jun hopped in and grabbed Blue by the collar. He threw him backwards without even looking. Afterwords, he charged in and wrapped his whip around the boss's neck. He pulled back and began choking him out while Braedon moved over to Zan Fu and grabbed his shoulder.
Zan Fu looked over in confusion for a second before Braedon spun around and propelled him toward the boss. A shout was released as Zan Fu flew forward at frightening speeds. He brought the claw back and as he approached the choked out boss, he gave off a roar as blue flames began to come off the claw.
He swung forward and the flames formed a ball of fire that shot into the boss's chest. The boss screamed out as he pushed his head back, slamming it into Kai Jun and knocking him off. The. He pulled his arm back and thrusted it into the incoming face of Zan Fu, pushing him back into Braedon.
Jingyi Lei prepared another arrow and was just about to shoot it, but the boss saw this coming and threw his blade at him. Jingyi Lei lunged to the side. But as soon as he did this, the boss came over and grabbed him by the arm. He slammed him back and forth into the ground over and over again until Jingyi Lei lost his consciousness.
Braedon could not believe that even with the power boost, they were barely doing anything to the boss.
He lifted himself off the ground and watched as Zan Fu did the same, "Dude, I think we are actually going to die." He chuckled as Zan Fu lifted his arm up in hopes of somebody helping him to his feet. Braedon clasped his aphand around Zan Fu's and used what little strength he had left to get him standing.

The boss spun Jingyi Lei around in the air and tossed him over at Blue, who was limping over towards him. Blue lifted up his arm in order to catch Jingyi Lei.
Without saying a word, a beam flew over from the boss's sword. Blue hopped away and rolled over next to Braedon and Zan Fu, with blood dripping down the corner of his mouth. Jingyi Lei was not much better as he looked like someone ran over him with seven different trucks and vans.
Kai Jun came over clutching at his chest and took Jingyi Lei from Blue's arm. "I'll begin the healing process for him, but that's not going to stop the asshole over there from attacking us."
Braedon patted Zan Fu's back a little and asked, "So do you have any tricks left up your sleeves?"
Zan Fu, "Maybe one strategy."
"What's the strategy?" Braedon looked over with a look that showed that he didn't care and was willing to do anything.
"We need to hit him even harder..."
"F*ck you." Braedon and Zan Fu stood side by side as their aura began to slowly strengthen and condense. Behind the two of them, two avatars of creature of legends began to grow and the weapons in the hand began to shake.
Kai Jun looked at the two of them as their aura started to merge together and a powerful force began to take over them. Their strength began to rapidly return as their wounds healed themselves within seconds.
The boss looked at this scene with shock and confusion as armor began to form around Braedon and flames began to come off of Zan Fu's body.
Blue looked over to Kai Jun and asked, "What's going on?"
"They are resonating with one another. A combination of anger, Hope, stubbornness, and the drive to win along with their powers are putting them on some sort of higher frequency."
"What?"
"Their powers merged together and formed a new power."
Blue looked at Kai Jun with a stupified expression and just said, "That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard of in my life. I've never heard of this before and now it just appears, where was that at the start of the f*cking battle?!"
Kai Jun could only answer with a shrug. The two people looked forward as Zan Fu and Braedon finished their transformation. Braedon was now outfitted with the armor he originally used to defeat Qi Bao While Zan Fu was covered in the same flames that appeared when he trained in his training room a while back.
The two people had regained even more than their full strength while the boss was still in a weakened state. He looked at the two people and shouted out, "Even if you've suddenly become stronger, I still have more than enough strength to kill all of you!"
Braedon didn't say anything as he raised up his arm and something was suddenly wrapped around the wrist of the boss. The boss looked down to his side and saw the arms of a familiar face grabbing him and holding him in place.
Blue looked at this scene in shock and surprise while a single tear rolled down his eye, "Mai?"
Kai Jun just nodded while saying, "I toatally forgot he could use the hatred of the spirits...neat."
While the boss was trapped thanks to Braedon, Zan Fu stepped forward and swung the claw only once. The flames lit the boss aflame and he screamed his lungs out in terrible anguish and horrifying moans. He tried to peel away his flesh that was being burned by the flame with no success. Slowly but surely the boss began to fall into an unclimactic end as his entire being, except for his soul, was burned into nothingness.
Braedon held out his hand and a ball of light flew over from where the boss once stood. It floated over and landed in his hand without as much as a sound. Braedon turned over to Zan Fu with a strange look in his eyes. He and Zan Fu began to speak, but when Kai Jun and Blue tried to listen in, they discovered that they couldn't under stand what the two were saying.

"You too you feathered freak." The body that was Zan Fu said to Braedon in the mysterious language.
Braedon looked aroun at his surroundings with a smile on his face, "Look at this! An entire world with a real civilization! The ground, the air, the people, all of these things that have changed. Truly I've never expected something like this, especially a successor like the one I have right now."
Zan Fu looked at his own fist and clenched it together, "Kt seems that my line of beasts have ended. My progeny is all dead."
"You don't seem too disappointed by this?"
"I was expecting it, but what I didn't expected was your progeny to be gone too. Well, except for that one pest."

"Ahhh, yes. Your firstborn, the first living Phoenix! Made from your very own breath. You speak of him as if he isn't a pest, a disgusting being who broke your little rule and stole the body of your successor."
"He is just confused, he doesn't know what he is doing. In his mind, he imagines that if he becomes the new deity of this world then he never has to die but that is not so!"
"He is not confused! He is malicious! He made his choice and robbed the power from them! These boys, HIS personal creations!"

Zan Fu began to shout at this point, "Yet you do not deny the fact that he still sent our cores down onto this world for his people to find. Why can't you get it through that idiotic bird brain of yours that the time of legends is over! It's time for these people to seek new strength."
"But they will never succeed." Braedon said this in a sad and somber tone while touching his own chest.
"That is up for them to decide. So tell me, are you going to do anything about that son of yours?"
"Are YOU going to do anything about your own child's consciousness living inside that body?"
Zan Fu nodded to himself and said, "He will disappear within due time. I just want this boy to receive a bit of training first. Now your problem on the other hand is a bit more serious than that."
Braedon had no words of denial to say, so he went with the next best option, "He is a test for this boy. If he cannot succeed in reclaiming what is rightfully his, then this was a doomed plan from the beginning."
Zan Fu paused for a second to think before nodding, "Okay, I'll accept that answer. But at the very least, I think we should give these kids an apology gift."
A flash of lightning shot from Zan Fu's eyes and entered into his chest, while a tiny flame came out of Braedon's eyes and entered his chest.
Zan Fu nodded in approval and looked to Kai Jun and Blue who were just standing there with a shocked look in their faces.
"Hey, isn't that guy with both arms and the orbs floating around him..."
"Yeah... it's sort of unexpected that he would leave that realm." Braedon said in a curious tone of voice.
"I guess your son caused a lot more trouble than we thought. But it doesn't matter, his effect upon the worlds is minimal." Zan Fu placed an arm on Braedon's shoulder as he said, "Well, I think it is time for us to leave."
"I kind of wonder how these two kids summoned us in the first place, aren't we dead? Like the absolute kind of dead?"
"I guess the only way to beat absolute death, is by being an absolute being. Who knows, maybe one of them might even have the chance of becoming some sort of king?"

I've never heard of this before and now it just appears, where was that at the start of the f*cking battle?!"Kai Jun could only answer with a shrug. The two people looked forward as Zan Fu and Braedon finished their transformation. Braedon was now outfitted with the armor he originally used to defeat Qi Bao While Zan Fu was covered in the same flames that appeared when he trained in his training room a while back.The two people had regained even more than their full strength while the boss was still in a weakened state. He looked at the two people and shouted out, "Even if you've suddenly become stronger, I still have more than enough strength to kill all of you!"Braedon didn't say anything as he raised up his arm and something was suddenly wrapped around the wrist of the boss. The boss looked down to his side and saw the arms of a familiar face grabbing him and holding him in place.Blue looked at this scene in shock and surprise while a single tear rolled down his eye, "Mai?"Kai Jun just nodded while saying, "I toatally forgot he could use the hatred of the spirits...neat."While the boss was trapped thanks to Braedon, Zan Fu stepped forward and swung the claw only once. The flames lit the boss aflame and he screamed his lungs out in terrible anguish and horrifying moans. He tried to peel away his flesh that was being burned by the flame with no success. Slowly but surely the boss began to fall into an unclimactic end as his entire being, except for his soul, was burned into nothingness.Braedon held out his hand and a ball of light flew over from where the boss once stood. It floated over and landed in his hand without as much as a sound. Braedon turned over to Zan Fu with a strange look in his eyes. He and Zan Fu began to speak, but when Kai Jun and Blue tried to listen in, they discovered that they couldn't under stand what the two were saying."#%*#^#"#^%+#^"~~~~~~~~~~"It's good to see you again you scaly bastard.""You too you feathered freak." The body that was Zan Fu said to Braedon in the mysterious language.Braedon looked aroun at his surroundings with a smile on his face, "Look at this! An entire world with a real civilization! The ground, the air, the people, all of these things that have changed. Truly I've never expected something like this, especially a successor like the one I have right now."Zan Fu looked at his own fist and clenched it together, "Kt seems that my line of beasts have ended. My progeny is all dead.""You don't seem too disappointed by this?""I was expecting it, but what I didn't expected was your progeny to be gone too. Braedon said this in a sad and somber tone while touching his own chest."That is up for them to decide. So tell me, are you going to do anything about that son of yours?""Are YOU going to do anything about your own child's consciousness living inside that body?"Zan Fu nodded to himself and said, "He will disappear within due time. I just want this boy to receive a bit of training first. Now your problem on the other hand is a bit more serious than that."Braedon had no words of denial to say, so he went with the next best option, "He is a test for this boy. If he cannot succeed in reclaiming what is rightfully his, then this was a doomed plan from the beginning."Zan Fu paused for a second to think before nodding, "Okay, I'll accept that answer. But at the very least, I think we should give these kids an apology gift."A flash of lightning shot from Zan Fu's eyes and entered into his chest, while a tiny flame came out of Braedon's eyes and entered his chest.Zan Fu nodded in approval and looked to Kai Jun and Blue who were just standing there with a shocked look in their faces."Hey, isn't that guy with both arms and the orbs floating around him...""Yeah... it's sort of unexpected that he would leave that realm." Braedon said in a curious tone of voice."I guess your son caused a lot more trouble than we thought. But it doesn't matter, his effect upon the worlds is minimal." Zan Fu placed an arm on Braedon's shoulder as he said, "Well, I think it is time for us to leave.""I kind of wonder how these two kids summoned us in the first place, aren't we dead? Like the absolute kind of dead?""I guess the only way to beat absolute death, is by being an absolute being.
