Shi Xingwan nodded with a light smile on his face. 'The incident must've changed his thinking. This is for the better, of course.'

"The first realm is the realm you mentioned, the Tempering realm. The Tempering realm focuses on the foundation of your cultivation journey, the body. There are nine stages in this realm, but you can split them into three parts."

"Qi is a qualitative change of life energy, one strand of qi would dominate against a hundred strands of life energy, that's how strong it is."
"This qi would allow nourish your body, allowing you to do more things that you couldn't do in the Tempering realm. I guess the ability of not eating for a few days and still feel energized is a thing you can do in the Creation realm."

"We do," Shi Xingwan nodded. "They're called the Gates, we have 3 of them in total. Once you unlock at least one of them, you're not a real human anymore, well figuratively. It fits since this realm is called the Ascended Mortal realm, which means you're not really human, but you've transcended the limits of a human."

"Me?" Shi Xingwan chuckled. "I reached the peak Creation realm a few years ago. This is why we are able to set up a clan here in Verdant Breeze Town."

Shi Li's gaze instantly turned that into of awe and reverence towards his father. Shi Xingwan just laughed looking at his son's face. "Any other questions?"

"How strong do I need to be to kill the whole Huang clan?"

The Huang clan bullies on the Shi clan most of the time, just because their Patriarch has reached the Half-Ascended Mortal realm. This earned Shi Xingwan a hate for the Huang clan, and deep inside, a desire to kill the whole Huang clan.
Pondering for a bit, Shi Xingwan gave an answer. "You'll need to be at least at the middle Ascended Mortal realm to really be sure of killing everyone in the whole Huang clan."
"I guess that's my goal then," Shi Li sighed. He then looked at his father. "Can I start cultivating?"
Shi Xingwan frowned. "You do know that it's almost midnight right? You'll start cultivating tomorrow."
