Ed's face was expressionless as he felt extremely bothered.
"Okay guys see you at home."
Jolene turned around to notice her man's mood swing. She stood on her tiptoes and wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Are you trying to seduce me, Miss Paterson?"
"No, but I won't deny that it feels so good being close to you Mr. Hann."
"Is that so? To be honest, I would like to do this right now but I hate to say that your next class has already started"
"Oh my god! That's true I'm so late! Bye Eddy! See you after class!"
After checking her watch, Jolene rushed towards the art department. She reached the class door, took a deep breath and knocked.
"Come on in" said her teacher.
"Hello teacher, I'm sorry for being late."
"It's okay Miss Paterson, since it's your first time coming late. Hurry up and take your seat."
"Thank you teacher."
Jolene sat next to Harry, an extremely talented and good looking classmate from a family of well known artists. His parents were divorced and he lived with his father, while his mother and sick sister lived in another country.
"I thought you were not coming today."
"Well Harry, I was.."
"She was with Edward!"
"Lower your voice Liz! Do you want us to be thrown out of class! The teacher is already feeling unhappy because of my late arrival."
Liz was Jolene's clumsy best friend, a tiny bold girl with a kind heart and a short temper.
"By the way Jolene, when are we going to do some shopping for Anna's birthday party?" said Liz.
"How about Saturday? I also need to buy some new clothes and makeup."
"Of course you'll have to! You're the beautiful fashion queen of this university. You have an image to maintain after all! I'm so lucky to be your friend my sweet lovely Jolene!"
Jolene felt blessed as she smiled at Liz's puppy face.
After class, Jolene rushed out to meet Edward who was impatiently waiting for his beloved woman to show up. When he saw her, he felt relieved, happy and secure. The bright smile of his girl could somehow lighten his burdens, and clear his mind.
"How long have you been waiting?"
He reached for her hand, pulled her closer and whispered in her ear. uncontrollably, she suddenly lost her body balance.
"I don't mind waiting for you my entire life."
Blushing, she spaced out for a moment. Because of his hot breath which weakened her legs, she was unable to pull herself together. She could barely come back to her senses when he suddenly turned around and started walking towards the parking lot.
"We're a bit late babe, I won't be able to afford anymore hatred from my future brother in law, let's hurry."
She followed him happily to the car, shaking her tail in excitement.
