After I woke up and talked about my future with Iris, I decide to go out and see my friends again. I'm kind of excited to see their surprised faces.

For this, I actually went all out. Putting on ritual-clothing given to me by Iris and painting some more of my face blue. Now I look more like I drowned, than like a fairy king... But well, it will surprise them anyway I guess.

I leave the castle and roam around a few minutes, searching for the others. After always ending up in the same dead end, I get the hunch to just push against the wall there. Good thing I still have time to trust my instincts, huh?

The wall opens up, reaviling a small tavern. In it I find Servve, Lyght and Rhage getting drunk. I greet them, preparing not to laugh at their faces. They look up and Servve spits out his beer from surprise. Lyghts chair falls down, but he gets up fast enough. Rhage was... Untouched.

Even after all preparation and Rhages calmness I laughed, while the others looked worried. After I was finished laughing, such as wiping my tears - and breathing a bit, I sit down at their tables and explain what has happened.

Servve proposes an interesting plan for training. As we are currently on the same physical level, he challenges me to a challenge. The first one to be able to throw the other for over 50 meters wins, if the target isn't reached, double the distance.

Lyght grins and agrees, he joins in too, dragging Rhage into this aswell. We now have four people training to throw each other, what a well built army this was.

As we planned out the details, like a punishment or reward, Christian walks in. He asks for an explanation, but refuses to join. Well, wouldn't make much sense anyway. Humans are usually weaker than elves.

Except for me and some of the other, now dismissed, generals.

Christian, Rhage and I were still able to talk normally, so we talk about our more serious plans in this war. We were here for over four months now, so it was time to leave for the dwarves.

The plan was simple. Go up to the queen, ask for directions and follow them. Only I was familiar with the instructions the queen gave, so it seemed to be a good option. I didn't interfere, hoping for good results for once.

The next day, while Servve and Lyght are still hungover, we leave our rooms towards the castle. As I was still in the role of our representative, I was left with talking to the queen.

She opens the big, golden door for us. This time, entirely herself. Well, this was farewell after all. The one to talk first was me.

Ce:" Hey, you know what we planned on already. What do you think about it?"

Iris:" Well, I wonder why you didn't tell them about my way of instructing people, but it is a good plan indeed."

R:" Her way of instructing?"

He shuts up, not saying anything for the rest of the conversation. Magic!

Ce:" Yes, she gives pretty vague instructions. I'm still hoping for good ones!"

I:" Sure! After you leave this domain, you will be out the same way you came from. Then you just follow the stream - until the flow of life interrupts you"

Ch:" What-"

Why don't they learn? They weren't allowed to talk if the queen didn't want them to speak. Taking permissions for granted is such a human feat! Hm, I thought that without thinking.

Ce:" I will try my best to guide them, I think I understood"

I:" Did you?"

Ce:" No, but I have a certain feeling I still know!"

Iris laughs then allows the others to speak and sends us out. The others didn't dare to speak until we woke the others and left the fairies domain.

R:" Woah! This was some insane magic! Why are you able to talk to her?"

Ce:" She allows me to! I doubt she is able to stop me from talking anymore, but she has no reason to either"

We talked a bit further about what I learned in the time I was training, whilst we walked towards the river. Very subtle, follow the stream and meaning a river!

Ce:" Hey, Rhage? Do you know if there is anything special at the end of this river?"

R:" Well kind of, there is a few trees cutting the river off, why?"

Ce:" Because this is our destination!"

R:" It can't be, the dwarves live way further up north!"

Ce:" Didn't you say dwarves lived under the earth, in tunnels?"

He goes silent, already helping me building the first boats for the part of army we take with us. The others wait here, there is no need to overload the dwarves with our kin.

The boats were simple, but effective. The river was a calm one, so we didn't need any iron reinforcements. Just wooden shells to keep us above the water.

The way down the river was pretty fun. We saw loads of different fishes, some ugly enough to joke a bit. Servve often enough was the target of said jokes, we all knew he enjoyed being the center and didn't care about his appearance, so he was the best choice.

I guess you don't need to care, if you are naturally handsome. I immediately shake that thought of. God no!

Surrounding the rivers was a forest, inhabitted by different animals. Apparently they aren't used to see humans here, so they all gather at the shore.

Their stares are kind of creepy actually. I don't think they aren't used to see humans, but not used to see humans being to the point we reached. Is there anything not letting humans pass?

On the exact moment it happened I understood. It wasn't us they were staring at, but the thing under us. A green snakey thing swings out of the water, standing in front of our boat and screams.

Our boat bursts at the sheer force of the moved air. Hell no, I was not prepared to face a dragon
