It's November 21 thanksgiving eve in the U.S .and I Yumi Yan have been living here for 4 years now…wow time sure does fly when you have ran away from home…hehe.
Getting to have this freedom was something I couldn't reach before but now I'm here doing what I want to do. I came here on a full scholarship to Harvard finished my 4 years by the way I'm 23 now…and single as can be.
But that was part of why I wanted to come here my mother was a women of dignity but my father a money hungry man, so when her parents died he took everything from her and through her out but he didn't that she would soon have a child.
My mother worked day and night just so we could have a meal everyday, but one day she came and fainted after a lady left out home I didn't know who she was back then. I was about 10 then so I called the hospital and after a week my mother passed away.
Later I found out why my mother had died it was all because of that witch my father wife. She was that lady, she had told my mom that she is now the wife of my father and that broke my mother heart on top of all that stress she couldn't take it anymore.
Soon after my mother died I was taken in my father and his wife and then I saw I had a big sister. She looked liked her mother but had the same greedy money hungry eyes as my fathers. The next 8 years were practically hell for me, they all hated me after all I was the Illegitimate child of the family.
The only good ones to me were the servants, that woman would sometimes not give me dinner because I "stole" my big sisters toy when she just hid it herself. My father never cared about what they were doing to me instead he would remind me that I have no mother and I have no future. @@
