"Now then.." Fang Yu stared at Genie, who smiled sheepishly at her back. "Do you know anything about what that guy said?"
Genie tried to look nonchalant as she said nothing. This of course did not bode well for Tang Li.
"Bad dog!" Tang Li said, admonishing Genie quite brutally. "Shay the twuth!"
Now that Tang Li was angry, Genie realized that she had no choice but to talk.
"As you may know, great Milkmaid, us Djinn were born from the nature. That means most of us were tied to wherever we were born from. As for my case, I was born from the mists of a certain planet."
Genie caressed her disk, looking quite nostalgic. She let out a sigh as she continued talking.
"Because I was born from a planet, you can say that I am now related to any planets. And that connection includes the soul of any planet."
Tang Li was already bored so she went back and perched on Fang Yu's head. She let out a cute yawn as she continued listening to Genie's story.
"One day, a powerful Devourer attacked our planet. The Devourer was too powerful, and my planet did not last long. It was then that the Devourer saw me. He took interest in my abilities….. and appearance. He also knew about my connection with any planets. Using that connection, he forced me to become one of his followers. I could not disagree, since he used my connection with the planets to render any of my struggles nil."

"So what happened now? Are you now free because your boss was now half-dead?" Fang Yu asked warily. From the looks of it, there was a chance that Genie was just following her under some twisted reasons.
"I am not yet free." Genie replied sadly. "The boss was still alive, so us, his servants had no choice but to stay here with him."
"In that case, why are you following Tang Li now?" Fang Yu said as she gave Genie a hostile look. She hastily picked Tang Li from her head and cuddled her on her chest. Tang Li wasted no time as she slept on Fang Yu's 'pillows'.
"Just like what I said earlier, I had a connection with any planet souls. That means the connection that I had with my former boss also exists in the great Tang Li. With my former boss heavily injured, his hold over me had also weakened. Of course, this hold stops me from leaving this planet. But since the great Tang Li was of good health, I can use my connection with her to leave my former boss' service."

She assumed the role of a horserider, this time Genie was her ride.

"Mithra, as your Goddess, I declare that you join us on my crusade against my mortal enemy. Will you willingly cast your possessions aside and follow me?"
