Nick looks at the key that the auctioneer is presenting curiously. In the back of his mind a sort of warning is going off telling him there's more to that key than it seems. 'System appraise that let' nick commands.
*DING*
*starting appraisal.....ding appraisal finished *
A status window appears before nicks eyes and upon reading it immediately nods in understanding. Nick checks his gold and begins to plan on how to obtain the key . (mind you all of this happens inside the space of about 10 seconds because cultivation don't at me). The auctioneer speaks up "the starting price is 50 silver with a minimum bid of 10 silver begin bidding."
"60 silver!"
"70 silver!"
Nick calls out his bid "50 gold!". The auction house instantly becomes quiet at the massive increase in price. The auctioneer is also stunned for a brief period before snapping out of it .
"50 gold going once!"
"Twice!"
"Thri...."
A voice cuts in as the auctioneer was speaking. "51 gold!". Nick recognized the voice as belonging to elder ferias. 'Why is she trying to get the key?'nick wonders for a moment and after drawing a blank ignore it as mere coincidence and raises the bid again.
"100 gold!"
In elder ferias booth the woman is clenching her teeth at the obvious intimdation tactic nick is using to get the key not because of pride or any other such thing but because its working she simply can't keep bidding with nick unless she wants to have to explain why she spent so much for an item with seemingly no use. 'You win this time brat ' she thinks as she huffs and waits for the key to go to nick.
The auctioneer is numb to nicks tactic at this time and immediately speaks out after confirming that no one is going to cut in this time.
"100 gold going once!"
"Twice!"
"Thrice!"
"Sold to the young lord in the private booth!"
After the auctioneer says that the attendant comes and grabs the key and places it into a small box and walks to nicks booth to deliver the key as well as to get the payment .the auctioneer waits for the attendant to verify payment then signals for the next item to be brought out.The next items is a cultivation technique which nick is not interested in.nick is looking at the key in his hand with a wide grin on his face because of the item status in front of him.

DESCRIPTION:the key to the mythic dawn sect treasure store house once activated properly will lead the bearer to a separate dimension were all the mythic dawns treasure is located.

nick has gotten into the habit of ignoring the system evaluation since it isn't useful most of the time. Sabrina's is looking a nick curiously since has that huge grin on his face . "you seem happy about that key ." she says inquisitively. Nick looks over at her and ask" if you just got a huge amount of money for very little wouldn't you also be grinning?" Sabrina's face changes from curiosity to excitement ."does that mean you know what this key is used for them?" Nick nods and begins to explain "this is in fact a dimensional key that opens the separate dimension were all the mythic dawns treasure is located, in other words this is literally an entire sects fortune." Sabrina is immediately stunned and though they try not to show it the guards are also shocked at the child in front of them. Meanwhile the auction has continued and another item is being sold at the moment .
Ironically elder teria would probably be cough blood out of anger if she knew what she was missing by letting the key go.
Meanwhile back at the farias clan building several charred corpses lay scattered on the ground as veras is panting in front of a small group of 3 people and while veras is not injured they are covered in several gashs and burns . "damn you veras just die already you fucking bastard!" One of the group a man who looks middle aged yells while launching an axe swing which cleaves the air apart towards the severely tired veras. Veras quickly dodges the attack and swings his longsword which blazes and cries of a phoenix faintly echo towards the man's now unguarded side cleanly bisecting him and scorching the wound instantly killing the man. Veras looks toward the two other people who are cowering before the extreme bloodlust raidiating from him ."this has gone on long enough " veras says while raising his sword above his head . seeing this action the two begin begging for their lives to which veras snorts in disdain and draws a flaming circle in the air above him "IFRIT TEMPEST!" Veras yells and a massive pillar of scarlet flames fill the courtyard incinerating all the bodies and well as the two people trying to escape leaving only a massive scorch mark as evidence that they were there. Veras uses his sword to keep himself on his feet as his knees buckle from exhaustion .
"Its over ..... For now" he says as he barely makes it into the nearby room and passes out as soon as he relaxed. The shadowy figure from before appears tho guard veras while he rest . "sleep well my lord" they say softly.
